Home Instead have looked after a number of our clients so very well. They take time to match the correct care giver to the client and always provide updates of how our client are. Thank you to the manager and all the team!

I am very pleased with the care and kindness that I have received and consider myself lucky to have found the manager and her team. I will be working with the manager to put in place a care package tailored to my specific needs when I am finally discharged from the hospital.

The Home Instead team have been a pleasure to deal with. They provide excellent home care for my parents enabling them to stay living independently in their own home. The carers have been chosen carefully and they get on very well with my parents. They carry out two visits a day and give them their medication. They help with general household chores and spend quality time chatting to my parents demonstrating great listening skills. The carers update the webpage at every visit which we can access to monitor my parents care and needs. This is an excellent service which has been a lifesaver for us all. Would highly recommend this company.

We have been with Home Instead Hastings since August of 2024. We were worried about my Aunt, who is having issues with her memory. It has been important to us to help her stay in her home as long as possible, as she is fiercely independent and physically very active. We have been very satisfied with the service which provides the support she needs and gives regular reports to us here in Canada through the app and through emails.

We have been using Home Instead for quite a while now and are delighted with their approach. The carers are always gentle, attentive, thoughtful and caring. The management is able to react to a request for more help in good time and they have never let us down.

Home Instead have been supporting my father over the last three plus years. Their Care Professionals are extremely well matched according to my fathers needs and all have been consistent in their high standards of care. They treat my father and myself with dignity and respect, carefully listening to all his needs and my requests - of which there are many, due to the high standards that I require. Communication between the Care Professionals is live and kept up-to-date, I therefore do not keep having to repeat myself. I cannot fault any one of them during this whole period, they are a pleasure to have here. The care plan is constantly updated due to his health, deterioration and needs which are changing rapidly. Occasionally in the past, communication and changes to times have not always been 100%, but are much better of late. I highly recommend Home Instead who are far superior to any other agency in this area.

Since engaging Home Instead a number of months ago, I have had peace of mind that someone is checking on my mum each week. It's a long round trip from where I live and Mum was getting worried about minor things which she couldn't explain. Now that Home Instead see her each week, they can put her mind at rest, as well as mine, and I have an extra pair of eyes on her to see how she is doing. My mum has always resisted having help and yet she always looks forward to the visit from Home Instead.

Home Instead have provided care for my mother over the last four years until she, at 97, had to go into residential care. Both my sister and I live in London so any emergency can take time to deal with. We have relied greatly on the help and experience of the CarePros at Home Instead and have never found them anything but professional, supportive and willing. We would not hesitate to recommend this dedicated group of people.

We used Home Instead to care for my mum for almost a year and they were absolutely fantastic. Mum was reluctant at first, but soon came to think of the care professionals as friends. They were all very kind and caring and nothing was too much trouble, often completing a phenomenal amount of tasks at each visit as well as friendship. We were kept fully informed about mum's care at all times. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Home Instead looked after my mum for many years when she was alive and now care for my stepdad. They always go above and beyond with the care they provide. I am alerted if there are any issues so I feel comfortable knowing that my stepdad is safe to remain in his own home, something that he needs for his overall wellbeing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I cannot praise the manager and the deputy and their caring team enough for the exceptional service they provided for my mum. Their kindness and care gave me the reassurance that she was getting the best support she needed. I highly recommend this excellent local service.

The care given to my mum was professional, respectful, flexible and above all done with love & friendship. You went the extra mile frequently too & stepped in when we needed it often at short notice.

The manager and her team are fantastic. They have provided support for my 94 year old uncle despite his initial reluctance/refusal. He now says they are all angels and he couldn't manage without them! Thank you so much for working with him to find the right carers and level of support. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead. All staff displayed empathy, kindness and care and my partner immediately felt at ease and very happy to see them. All of the carers who came seemed to have been handpicked for these very qualities and it was the calibre of every single person we met from Home Instead that shone out!

My parents used Home Instead carers for the last year. From the very start, we were impressed with their attitude. They were kind and thoughtful, involving my parents in decisions. Having strangers in your home is a massive step and admitting you need help with day-to-day tasks is not easy but Home Instead understood this and made the transition very easy. Every care pro was thoughtfully matched to my parent's needs and having the same faces (about 6 different people) over the week provided stability but with some variety which worked well. Home Instead were also very flexible and when it became necessary to dial up the care to more visits this was accommodated almost immediately which we were very grateful for. Living a fair distance away from my parents was not always easy but being able to log in and check the daily care given meant I could see how they had been, giving me reassurance. When an emergency situation arose the appropriate prompt action was taken.

The lovely team of Home Instead (Bexhill & Hastings) has provided my mother with outstanding care. The team have assisted my mother to improve on her personal care and assist with activities such as taking her out for social events, getting her hair done and attending doctors’ appointments. Their trustworthy team is highly commendable for their reassuring companionship, care and daily assistance that helped my mother as her onset of dementia progressed. They made a difference in helping her transition from being an independent person to accepting the required care that she needed. This experience with Home Instead has definitely given her the confidence, security and assurance that receiving care is essential. This made things easier when she had to finally move permanently into a care home. We are very grateful for the genuine care, kindness and peace of mind that Home Instead have given to our family and especially to my mother. We highly recommend their valuable service.

I chose Home Instead for my mum and her partners’ in home care at the beginning of 2022. My mum's health had severely deteriorated during the pandemic and I live in Boston, USA. After saving my mum's life, I knew I had to find care where we could all work as a team and I felt like the people I would be working with would become part of our family. The wonderful human beings I have got to know over the last year have exceeded my expectations- they are both friends and family to not just my mum and her partner but myself! The amazing Care Pros go above and beyond to not appear intrusive - it’s no easy task having people come into your home and follow a care plan. My mum has shown resistance at times but the Care Pros have always managed to work around any problem that has arisen and each and every one have formed a bond with my mum where she actually looks forward to seeing them every day. Ever the professionals but with an infectious sense of humor, these people go the extra mile!

All the carers are very understanding of my needs and are not patronizing in any way. They allow me to do as much for myself as possible and do not step in until necessary. They are all very kind, caring and have a good sense of humour which I believe is important in any caring role. "They never make a drama out of a crisis".

Home Instead Bexhill has cared for my mother for almost 2 years and has always provided wonderful care. They matched Mum with a very kind Care Professional, and the continuity of care meant Mum built up a warm relationship with her. Cover was always provided seamlessly if required, and any other Care Professional who was sent provided the same level of great care. Home Instead kept us in the loop (as we live a distance away) and were always ready to provide any additional help required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Bexhill. My Mum has just moved out of the area recently, and we are currently in the process of setting up a similar arrangement with the local Home Instead office as the level of service and care Mum has received in Bexhill has been outstanding.
