Blue RIver Home Care have been supporting Mum (she sadly passed away 17 November) since 2019 and have always provided an excellent level of care and support. I'm in full-time employment running a small business, so I couldn't always devote as much time as I would have liked to Mum, but knowing Blue
River were in her corner really helped, especially as the job was not without its challenges.
Nothing was ever too much trouble, such as picking up prescriptions from the local pharmacy, advising on the right material for nightdresses when Mum was confined to bed, even setting up the TV so she could watch Spurs win the Europa League (!), and the really gnarly stuff like managing incontinence pads and mats.
Thanks so much, Blue River, for all your care and attention to Mum over the years, including the lockdown years, (Mum never got COVID), plus most important of all you ensured that I could grant Mum her final wish of living at home for all of her 96 years.

Overall I am very happy with the service. The carers are professional, kind and patient, they treat my mother with dignity. Having regular carers who know my mother well has made a big difference.When I need to make a change to the rota, the office is very helpful and do their utmost to fulfill my
request.
If I could offer one small suggestion it would be when new carers are being trained, the office informs me, so that I can meet the new carer. Communicating with the carers to provide feedback is valuable, this ensures I can adjust my plan.

Carers have been looking after my mum for a few months now. Yasmin and Natasha have been amazing with her. They are kind and caring and very patient. Professional at all times. They have followed any instructions or help I've asked of them.

My mums care has truly been a lifeline for us, allowing Mum to stay comfortably and happily at home. All of the carers are experienced, professional, and absolutely lovely to deal with. They take real care of Mum - not just meeting her needs, but treating her with kindness, respect, and genuine
compassion. We're so grateful for the wonderful support they provide every day.

I cannot praise Stefka and the Blueriver team highly enough. From the outset they were attentive and flexible to the needs of my dad when he needed help at home.
Compared to the services we received from the hospital transition team and another care provider they are miles ahead.
When you are
looking for caring and consistent support for loved ones I would highly recommend using this agency.
My dad can be fussy and doesn't readily take to new people. However, both the carers we had he was happy with and would chat with them happily.
Unfortunately his needs now require a nursing home but if or when we are able to bring him back home, we will not hesitate to use BlueRiver for assistance again.

Id previously had a bad experience with carers so was a bit wary of any type of help for my housebound mother. But.... I cannot thank blue river enough for how they have given me back the trust and part of my own life back .The manager is always helpful and supportive and will always get back to you
with any questions or queries you have practically straight away .I explained my needs and concerns to her and she couldn't of found us 2 caring ,hardworking kind ladies to help care for my mother who is a very hard lady to please but is very happy with her care .we felt comfortable from the start .everyone is always respectful ,patient ,and caring and will listenThank you

Blue River Home Care & Live in Care cared for my dad for a few weeks May/June 2024, Dad was very reluctant at first with new people coming into his home but the carers soon won him over and he was sad to say goodbye when he moved to the nursing home. Dad's conditions were very complex but they were
very knowledgeable and helped us with what equipment to suggest from the NHS etc. All in all, a very positive experience.

The standard of care from Blue River Care Home Care was excellent and the carers were polite and very friendly. I would highly recommend this group of carers to anyone. They were always on time and always asked if there was anything else that needed to be done to help out in these difficult times.

Blue River Home Care & Live in Care took over my dad’s care, upon his return from hospital. Within a few weeks, I noticed a positive change in my dad, both physically and mentally. The carer was very motivated to get him eating a healthier diet which, in the long term, improved his stamina. Blue
River kept in close contact with me, giving regular updates.
I am very impressed with this care company and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

My uncle had exceptional care by the team of carers and by one member of staff in particular. They were kind, caring, reliable and hard-working and gave our family huge peace of mind. They communicated very well and had my uncle’s best interests at heart. We were so grateful that he had such great
care at the end of his life, he looked forward to the carer coming and had a wonderful relationship with him. Thanks to this carer and the team.

I would like to thank the manager and her team for the excellent care my dad has received after coming home from his long stay in hospital. The carers are very professional, helpful and kind not only to my dad but they are a great support to my mum. Nothing is too much for them and they always
provide support in any way they can. Over the last few months, they have become a vital part of daily life for my parents and I cannot thank them enough!
They are reliable and caring but also spend time to chat and bring some laughter when daily life can be quite challenging.
I would highly recommend them to anyone, they truly achieve 100% for everything.

Team of three are equally caring and professional. They feel part of the family and my husband (the user) and I are very happy with the service they provide. We are particularly happy to have the same team as you get used to them. In this day and age of constant complaints about everything and

Our family can not thank the manager and her team enough. My dad was on palliative care for only 3 weeks but the care and empathy shown to my dad was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so reassuring and gentle with our dad, they truly cared for him. It can not ever
be easy for a family to face the daunting prospect that your loved one is on end-of-life care but to have this team looking after dad made this terrible journey that little bit easier to bear, he was in good caring hands. We will always be indebted to Blue River for taking care of our most precious possession, our dear dad. Thank you.

I suffer from MS and Blue River Care company has been supporting me with 24/7 care for the last 4 years. I cannot praise the office, visiting carers and live-in carers highly enough. They are the best I've ever had over the years and my only regret is that I didn't know them earlier. It's been such
a relief for me to have found them and I am extremely grateful for the team going far and beyond to help me stay at home. I don't want to go into a nursing home and Blue River Care made it possible. A reliable company that wouldn't disappoint you.

Blue River Home Care has been providing care for my mum since last September. Mum had contracted shingles and needed support in day-to-day living. Mum was adamant she wanted to stay in her own home so we spoke to the manager at Blue River about care options and at very short notice were able to
start off with just one visit per day from a carer. As Mum's health has gone up and down over the last eight months we have been able to flex the number of visits up and down at short notice and the manager and the team have always been able to accommodate Mum's needs. The quality of care has been outstanding and Mum often speaks of how kind and caring her carer is. The care provided is flexible and means that we know that Mum is supported whenever she needs it. I cannot commend Blue River highly enough and recommend them to anyone who needs support.

I have been using Blue River for the past year, since I was discharged from the NHS to receive home care. I was given a list of possible providers and, having spoken to several, I chose Blue River. I’ve never regretted my choice! I have been impressed with the professionalism of all of the team -
the manager and office staff, and especially the carers themselves. They are all pleasant, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and I look forward to their visits. My condition is being well looked after, and I am very happy with my treatment, I would recommend them to anyone in need of carer support.
