Helping Hands have been providing support to my dad for the past two years and are wonderful. The caregivers are kind, compassionate and supportive at all times. The care team have really gone the extra mile to put a programme in place to suit dad's complex needs, and have done their utmost to
support him in a professional and kind manner. Dad really values visits and their unfailing good humour.

A copy of the weekly rota helps when visits are later then originally agreed. If the carer will be over an hour later than 11am my mother becomes unsettled so having reference to the rota is useful.
The carer who visits regularly has built a good relationship with Mum.

Very accommodating team, always helpful to undertake requests for support and 'tasks' to be completed in the home alongside appointments. Things are never too much trouble. Requests for support are always attempted to be covered even at short notice for appointments.

Helping Hands looked after my wife for many years until she died last year.
I had no hesitation in asking them back to look after me when my health was falling. It is good to see some of the careers back to support me in early morning calls to be there when I shower get my breakfast and have
someone to talk to. It starts my day off in an excellent way. Thank you HH

My physical ability is declining with age so now I have some help which has made a lot of difference. The carers are all polite and friendly and very willing in every respect. It's helpful to have someone here for safety purposes because my balance isn't very good.. I now call on them to take me
to appointments which ensures my safety and gives me confidence. It's a relief to know I don't have to struggle alone. It is also reassuring because if I telephone, a person answers the call and I don't have to hang on for ages.

Helping hands are so very helpful. When a problem arises they are very quick to help us resolve any issues. All the staff are very friendly, efficieny and competent. Dad enjoys their company as they prepare meals etc

As we live a fair distance from our mother, we can't visit as often as we would like. We have someone come in the morning to give her her meds and perform day-to-day tasks for her. The care and kindness that has been shown by Helping Hands has been exemplary.

The lead carer has been nothing short of kind, supportive, professional, authentic in her care for my mother. In addition Helping Hands have been organised, extremely well managed , they are responsive to queries, provide sound advice and have helped me cope and adjust to very new and stressful
circumstances which I have massively appreciated, thank you all.

Dad's been having carer help for around 6 months which takes the stress away from mum. A great group of people, friendly and helpful, you get a phone call if they're having to find a replacement or if a carer has gone sick, which is helpful.

Helping Hands took over the care of my mum after the reablement team. The transition was smooth and the management team were very professional, creating a care plan which was suitable and allowed my mum still to feel that she had her independence, dignity and that she feels safe. The carers
themselves I cannot thank enough. They genuinely care and nothing has been any trouble. They are very flexible and really practical in coming up with solutions for things my mum has found difficult.

Good. The girls come only in the evening. They are cheerful, able to think for themselves and caring.

I was very pleased to use Helping Hands to support my mother. They were very flexible and adaptable, and I would not hesitate to use them again. We asked them to provide additional afternoon support which they were very happy to do - without them, the whole care arrangement for my Ma would have
failed.

I have been P O A for a very independent elderly neighbour who we have been looking after for many years. However, his sight was failing and he developed a few other problems. When the virus caused us all to go into lockdown it meant that quite a few people that had been helping him remain
independent had to go into isolation including myself and my husband. I had heard good reports of Helping Hands so I contacted them and straight away they responded to my request and put in place exactly what we needed. They have always responded promptly to any request which has been so reassuring. One of the things I liked about them was their concerns for the elderly gentleman and were able to give helpful advice.
I would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone who is needing care and I am grateful for their support at a very difficult time. The elderly gentleman has now gone into a care home.

Helping Hands have been looking after my mother for almost 2 years now. They have been wonderful in every way. Every carer has been lovely to her. They are kind and competent and I have had every confidence in them. I have absolutely no complaints at all and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone
needing care.

Staff always arrived on time, with a cheerful approach. All staff caring and gentle, talking to my husband, and explaining what they are going to do next. I cannot thank you enough for all the care you gave to my dear husband. Dying in good hands in a friendly environment.
