View full details of Helping Hands Home Care (Blackpool)Communication has not been very good lately, and staff levels need improvement. I feel staff should be more persistent in getting mum to do tasks especially around personal hygiene, but she can be difficult. Generally they all seem friendly enough.
Initial contact with the manager at the review visit was conducted in a professional and timely manner. We were listened to and information was gathered and adhered to. The carers were kind and considerate to my mother's changing needs. We had good two way communication and worked together to solve issues re medication. They work with mother has improved her health and wellbeing. I would highly recommend Helping Hands Care provider.
Very good excellent thanks.. always prompt polite, courteous and extremely helpful. Living on my own it was invaluable in the morning to get showered, dressed downstairs and breakfast . I understand weekends are difficult to fill but that proved no problem to you. I would certainly if need be use you again I'm thoroughly recommend asked to consider the packages you offer. Kind regards.
Very pleased to have found Helping Hands. I found their approach very positive and professional. Very satisfied with the carer they matched my husband up to and things are working very well. I feel confident going out and spending some time doing things for myself, knowing that my husband is being well cared for.
The positive difference I have seen in my mum since Helping Hands has been back caring for her is amazing, she is getting around the house, eating, drinking and regaining weight. All the visiting carers are so friendly and helpful and the management and office team have been agreeable to everything I have requested. With Helping Hands now visiting my mum I feel so much more relaxed, especially when I am not able to go around myself. To the manager and team, thank you.
Helping Hands Home Care (Blackpool) have been looking after my father, who has vascular dementia, in a one to one capacity in a nursing home. He has challenging behaviour so needs that bit of extra attention. Helping Hands have been working with my father since last August and they have been excellent with him. From the initial meeting with the manager, who grasped very quickly what was required to the carers they put in place I have felt quite confident that my father is receiving the assistance he requires. They look after him with patience and compassion, helping with whatever is needed, taking him out for a drive, a coffee or lunch sometimes and more. I feel confident that while Helping Hands are with him I don’t need to worry as I know they are all lovely, caring and patient people who understand people with dementia. I would confidently recommend Helping Hands to anyone who needs help with their loved ones. Highly highly recommend.
