Peaky Minders have been caring for my dad for 3.5 years. I requested Self Directed Care from Social Work so I could have control of how and when Care was given. Peaky Minders were very accommodating at giving us the care we needed. They took dad to visit his wife in a Care Home, on social visits to his friends - we paid extra for this support, happily. I needed them to sit with dad while he was having his tea - other care providers would not do this. They were happy to take tablets from his dosette box and ensure he took them. Other care providers had to take tablets from each prescription box, count them, each time. This meant they had no time to spend with my father. Peaky minders would make his bed, put on washing, tidy the kitchen, leaving my dad in a tidy state. They were interested in him and engaged in his interests. They treated him with Dignity and Respect. They communicated well with the family. I would highly recommend them and have done so to many new clients.

Peaky Minders were quick to respond and put together a care package when we suddenly needed it and were always open to accommodate the evolving needs of the situation. As soon as Mum started to have visits from the team at Peaky Minders, I knew that she was going to like them - contrary to her belief that she would never like having carers in her home. There was no pressure for her and she quickly became relaxed about their presence. The team all brought something different to her care and worked to build relationships with Mum and build her confidence. The lead carer in particular went above and beyond to make sure my mum was safe and happy, and in such a short time developed a strong and caring bond with Mum. So thankful they were there when we needed them.

I cannot tell you how great this team is. They are focused on the person as much as the care they require. My mum had this team around her for a short time before sadly passing away. They quickly built strong and positive relationships, understood her needs, and the care was professional and supportive. Each carer brought a different approach but all showed my mum she mattered and was important. If you want to feel confident that your loved one is being well cared for and respected then this is the company you need.

We used this company from January 2023-Oct 2023 when my parents moved into a residential care home. We were very happy with the exceptional service that we received from Peaky Minders. The staff were all very caring and considerate with my elderly mum and dad. They went above and beyond which is rare these days and we really appreciated that. I felt a huge pressure relieved when I knew my parents were being so well looked after in my absence and I was kept well informed too. I almost felt like part of the team as we worked together to give the care needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for a caring, compassionate and efficient service.
