Right at Home worked with my mum-in-law for a few weeks before her death. She had been declining steadily and become more dependent. She lived with us for about 15 years but latterly lacked other social contact. All the 'girls' (as she called them!) who attended were great. They brought a ray of sunshine into her life and she looked forward to their visits. They assisted with showering, bed linen changing and general cleaning, but possibly more important was the company they provided and the anticipation of that company. They were never perfect because that was my mother-in-law, but they were pretty near!

The team care for my mum a few days a week and they are very good, caring and responsible. They listen to my requests and hers, and I feel she is in safe hands when I'm at work or away. They have never let me down with covering hours for when I need a holiday break and they genuinely want to make sure mum is cared for to my requirements and that she feels safe and happy when with them. I searched for a reliable care team for a long time and I hit the best with the Right at Home North Leeds, Otley and Wetherby branch.

I have now been with right at home for two weeks during which I have had two caters for four different sessions. They have both been extremely helpful and fulfilled requests for driving to the shops and going for a walk.

All carers are extremely reliable, visiting at the time requested & offering the necessary support and care required. The weekly rota and accessible post-visit carers notes available through the Right at Home website keep the family well informed and make us aware of any issues or concerns that may arise. The daily visits have provided the family with reassurance and support & the carers have carried out their duties with discretion, empathy and sensibility.

My mother's team of carers are all wonderful. They each bring a personal touch to her visits and make her happy. Right at Home are very flexible and accommodating if our plans need to change. We as a family are delighted to have found Right at Home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others that need care for their elderly relatives.

After talking to a couple of care providers, I decided to appoint Right at Home Horsforth for providing companionship care to my mother in law who suffers from vascular dementia. The main reason for this was the attention to detail, empathy and cultural sensitivity that came across in the questions we were asked as part of the initial assessment. I felt that I was talking to an expert who genuinely cared about providing the best possible support to an elderly and vulnerable person. From the start, all the administrative burden has been borne by Right at Home, even when last minute changes are needed. This is important as I work full-time. The companionship care meets our requirements and the care worker is brilliant. I highly recommend the team at Right at Home Horsforth.

Right at Home looked after my 94-year-old Mum for 7 months during an accelerated decline in health due to heart failure and a other medical issues. The whole family and I were very happy with the level of care, compassion and professionalism given by the team to Mum in her final months of life. Mum felt very confident around her carers and often said that she felt that they were "very special people". I couldn't agree more. As well as supporting my Mum they often found time to support me with my worries about Mum's health and were able to give much useful advice. They were always punctual, polite, responsive and very attentive to Mum's needs and what she wanted. Never imposing anything on her. Sometimes things could get very stressful, for eg if Mum had a fall, and the team would respond very quickly to provide extra care as soon as possible. In a quickly changing situation, nothing was too much trouble. I strongly recommend them and thank them enormously for everything they did.

We carefully researched care companies and found Right At Home to be the best on a number of levels - and this has proved to be absolutely the right choice in practice too. We knew carers would help, but didn't realise how much - the carers at Right At Home have consistently really gone above and beyond for both my parents. Both of them are happier and less stressed as a result of us being with Right At Home. It's been so lovely to see my mum smile because the carers are so lovely to her, and they have been flexible, proactive and responded to changing needs efficiently and quickly. We are enormously grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend them - we can't thank them enough.

I am an 80 year old man. After a knee replacement operation, I needed a period of support and care. I chose "Right at Home" after considering several different options. Their approach was both understanding, professional and from the start caring. My first operation was cancelled at short notice and Right at Home responded flexibly and efficiently in re-scheduling my care. Over a two week period I received care from two exemplary carers. They used their skills and experience to support me as I began the process of recovering from the operation and being able to walk unaided once again. I was able to discuss with them the type and amount of care I needed as during my recovery. Nothing was too much trouble. I am convinced that the speed of my recovery and increased confidence I gained in my mobility, was accelerated by and dependent on the superb care I received over the two weeks. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future if and when needed.

Right at Home are a responsive care provider with good communication and committed staff who genuinely care for their clients, especially the manager, who doesn't just do office work like many from other agencies. She and individual carers will work hard to make sure your special events can be supported as well as every day care.

Right at Home have been caring for my Mother who suffers from Vascular Dementia. Her memory issues have gradually increased over the past few months and the registered manager and the team have been very accommodating whenever I've requested extra help to cover her needs. It's such a relief to know that she's in safe hands and that all members of the team have been extremely caring, efficient, and supportive. Thanks to you all for everything you've done to help my Mother live independently in her own home.

Right at Home North Leeds provided support and care for my aunt in her own home for the last few months of her life. From the start Right at Home were easy to contact and communicate with. In our contacts with the team, it was clear that they put my aunt's needs and wishes at the centre of providing support for her. We really liked the way that the managers came to meet my aunt and got to know her a little so that they could match the staff from the team who would support her, with my aunt's needs and personality. My aunt spoke about the fact that everyone who came to support her were very respectful and friendly. We also found the team to be really helpful and flexible in providing support - it was helpful that they could sometimes take her to appointments and also to provide extra support at times when family members and other support were unable to do their regular visits. I would recommend Right at Home North Leeds without hesitation to anyone needing support in their own home.

Very trustworthy and accommodating. It gives us peace of mind that they are visiting my step-mother in-law each day making sure she is ok, and they give us feedback if there is anything to be concerned about.

The team care for my mum a few days a week and they are very good, caring and responsible. They listen to my requests and hers, and I feel she is in safe hands when I'm at work or away.
