What you've said about our team going above & beyond for your parents, through both the good days & the more difficult ones, really means a lot. Caring for someone at home is about so much more than simply completing a list of tasks. It's about getting to know the person, noticing when things have changed, being dependable & giving families the reassurance that someone is there when they need them. We're incredibly proud of the team we have built & the relationships they develop with the people they care for. Right at Home stepped in at very short notice to help me for a few days so that I was able to move my 94 year old aunt from her home to mine. I've dealt with a few care companies (looked after my Dad at home) and another relative in their own home. Right at Home are by far the best I've come across. They combined expert practical support amd advice with compassionate care for my aunt, and for us too. Sadly my Aunt died shortly after the move and the H at H team supported us with that process
I've also found their office support team to be very efficient and helpful
I can't thank or recommend them enough for their help amd advice. Hopefully it will be a while before we need care again, but they would be first on my list. An amazing team - genuine find.

We were also always happy to provide additional respite support whenever needed, whether that was to allow you to take a well-earned holiday or to step in during times when you were unwell. Supporting family and their friends is just as important to us as supporting our clients, and we were always grateful to be able to help.

We have really enjoyed spending time with her - especially the visits to Yeadon Tarn with her precious dog, shopping trips and helping introduce her to other residents. We know how much she grew to enjoy her visits and companionship, and it means a great deal to us to know that our support helped ease any loneliness and provided the family with peace of mind. I am leaving a review for Right at Home as I believe it is by far the best caring company in Leeds (he had three previous ones). They have been looking after my uncle for the past four years ensuring he managed to stay at home, as was his wishes, until his recent passing. The compassion, reliability and peace of mind that they gave him, and indeed me, are to be commended. A professionally run business who cant do enough, not just for their clients, but also for the people who have taken on the caring duties of an elderly relation. I cannot praise them highly enough and I only wish I had found them earlier.

Mum really looked forward to her visits from her Right at Home care ladies, they were always so cheery, helpful and made sure Mum was comfortable and felt safe. She enjoyed their cheerful chats and news about what was happening in the world. There were a lot of jobs around her house mum couldn't manage which she felt comfortable asking her visiting lady to do, be it sorting her cupboards out, cleaning, making sure her bathroom was clean and safe as well as her bedroom, all done enthusiastically. They also would stay a little longer if mum needed, which I found very reassuring. Knowing mum had such competent ladies visiting her daily was peace of mind for me, and Anna (manager) at my local office, more than once listened to my worries about mum and gave me some good advice (and I'm sure lowered my blood pressure).
Mum will miss her care ladies from RAH very much and we both are very grateful for their care and friendship. Thank you , from Maureen Blackham and Lesley Barrett.

When my sister left for Australia on a very long holiday, I wasn't sure how I would cope looking after two very elderly parents, one of whom is severely disabled. However, I needn't have worried. The organisation Right at Home has been a true godsend.
Over a period of three to four weeks, they have provided outstanding support to my parents. The care has been thoughtfully tailored to meet both Mum and Dad's individual needs. They are always respectful of being in someone else's home, taking great care to follow the way Mum and Dad like things done, and carrying out every task to an exceptionally high standard.
Just as importantly, they bring warmth and companionship. There is always plenty of laughter, and Mum and Dad genuinely look forward to their visits. When they heard that my sister's return might be delayed, they were actually delighted that the wonderful Right at Home team would be coming for an extra week.
I would not hesitate to recommend this outstanding organisation.

Right at Home have been fantastic with my elderly mother in law who at 93 years old managed to remain at home with support from the wonderful staff here. She was very reluctant to allow strangers in the home and was quite defiant at first but soon built up lovely bonds with the ladies and enjoyed spending time with them and telling them her stories, particularly when she met the Queen! Anna and Rachel were brilliant at getting back to us with any queries and really supportive, they are all a brilliant team. I would highly recommend to anyone in similar situation.

It was a true privilege getting to know her & hearing all of her wonderful stories, especially about growing up, her career, & the joy these memories brought her - & of course, meeting the Queen! There was never a dull moment during our visits.
I personally loved spending time with her - whether that was enjoying a sunny walk in the park, pottering around her garden picking & stewing apples, or simply sitting together chatting & looking through her many family photos. I also particularly enjoyed playing beetle drive with her, painting with aqua paints, & completing jigsaws. Moments like these are what make providing quality home care so special.

I am writing to share my deepest thanks for the care you have provided to my godfather, since January 2024. As his needs have recently transitioned to residential care, our time with your team has come to a close, but I couldn't let it end without acknowledging your outstanding service. The last two years have been incredibly difficult, and your team was a constant source of support and guidance for my godfather and myself personally. Living some distance away, it has been a relief to know he had a dedicated team visiting him multiple times a day. I am especially grateful for the times you went above and beyond-whether it was picking up additional hours when he needed extra assistance or accompanying him to doctor and hospital appointments. Your flexibility allowed me to balance my own family life and daily responsibilities, knowing my godfather was in safe, capable, and kind hands even when his needs weren't the easiest to manage. Please share my thanks with all the Team

During his time with us, we provided 3 visits a day, 7 days a week, delivered by a small, dedicated team of local carers who got to know him personally & could respond to his needs consistently. We're so pleased that our flexibility - whether accompanying him to hospital appointments, assisting with his catheter bag, waiting with him for ambulance late at night, or taking him on his weekly shopping trips-made a difference and gave you peace of mind. Your recognition of our Carers going "above and beyond" really means a lot. I will be sure to share your heartfelt message with the team - they will be thrilled to know their dedication has been appreciated.

So grateful to the Right at Home team for their care of my father who has increasing and variable care needs. He has had daily visits from the team for a number of months. These have provided essential support with day to day activities and his care needs as well as social interaction, help with appointments and not forgetting more enjoyable opportunities like cafes and the garden centre.
The team also provide guidance and support for myself if required and are prompt to communicate any concerns providing reassurance that my father is being professionally cared for.

It's great to hear that the visits have been such a positive support for your dad, both with his day-to-day care and the social side of things including playing games. Being able to get out to cafs, the garden centre, and now enjoy his walks again, with the better weather, makes such a difference to both your dad's fitness and mental health - both your dad and the carers enjoy the fresh air and getting out and about. We're also glad that you feel supported and kept informed. As care needs change, staying in close communication and offering reassurance to families is something we take seriously. We are here for both you and your dad.

We have been using home care since my dad had a bad fall last August and right from the first tearful phone call from me they have been absolutely fantastic with the care they have given and continue to give to him. The support they have given me has been such a tremendous help I can't fault anything. My dad loves to see the carers when they come and he sings and tells jokes to them. It's lovely to see him happy and comfortable.

I would like to thank Right at Home, especially Anna, the Manager for her professionalism shown to my family and I in what was a very difficult time for us having to find the right care and support for my elderly mother. She had recently been discharged from hospital after being in there for several months. Her kindness and support is truly remarkable, goes above and beyond, even though the care was not provided, due to NHS Fast Tracking funding. My family and I are eternally grateful for what Anna did for us in the background and would not have hesitated in using this care agency had it not been for the NHS funding and now will be telling family and friends.

The support provided to my mother age 94 enabling her to stay in her own home has been amazing. Every member of staff and management have always been there to support both my mum and myself at challenging times .

Right at home responded promptly to our request for support for my Dad who has dementia. The carers were excellent. They were friendly, caring and patient. My Dad enjoyed the social contact as well as having the support with personal care. Rachel and Anna were extremely helpful in arranging support for my Dad for a family event and very patient when we kept changing things !
As a family we really appreciated their help and support to keep my Dad at home.

The lovely ladies at RAH have been taking care of my mum for about a year now, (as her care needs have increased quickly and quite significantly.) The care given has been of a high standard and my mum really enjoys the company and conversation that the team provide. I would highly recommend the care given by RAH to your family and loved ones. Having lived in North Leeds for over 20 years, I know the area like the back of my hand – and I’m incredibly proud to serve the community I call home. As the Owner and Managing Director of Right at Home North Leeds, Otley & Horsforth, I feel privileged to provide high-quality, reliable home care services that help people live comfortably and confidently in their own homes.
Since the age of 30, I’ve owned and successfully managed several businesses – but nothing has been more rewarding than combining my entrepreneurial experience with my true passion: helping people.
I’m especially committed to supporting older adults and those living with dementia, which is why I volunteer with several fantastic local organisations including AVSED, Guiseley Senior Citizens, Guiseley Memories, and Dementia Friendly Horsforth. Whether I’m on a steering group or serving tea at a social, I love being hands-on in the Leeds community.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to my two wonderful kids, Ella and Jack, and enjoy long walks with our lively Yorkshire whippet, Alfie. I also love camping, travelling, and getting stuck into the occasional property renovation project.

Hi, I’m Anna, the Registered Manager at Right at Home North Leeds, Otley and Horsforth, and I’m proud to support our wonderful team from our office in Horsforth.
I’ve lived in Yeadon for many years, and my heart truly belongs here. It’s a privilege to now serve the very communities I’ve grown up in and care deeply about.
My journey into care began in the most personal way – as an unpaid carer for my Grandma, who was living with Alzheimer’s disease. Supporting her through the challenges of dementia was both humbling and rewarding, and it helped me understand just how important compassionate, person-centred support really is. After she passed away, my Grandad moved into a care home. While the staff were kind, I know he would have felt more comfortable and connected staying in his own home, surrounded by the memories he cherished.
That experience inspired me to explore professional care work. I began my career in domiciliary care in Horsforth as a Care Assistant. I quickly realised I had found my calling. I progressed to Care Co-ordinator and eventually became a Registered Manager – a role I’m incredibly proud to hold today.
I’m passionate about providing high-quality, in-home care that allows people to remain safe, independent, and supported in the place they know best – home. I also enjoy giving back to the community through local volunteering with over-65s in Horsforth and Guiseley.
Working at Right at Home North Leeds, Otley and Horsforth has been an inspiring and fulfilling chapter in my career. From the moment I joined the Horsforth branch, I have not looked back.
