Our visit to the art centre was especially memorable, and while memories may fade, we leave little notes or sunflowers as familiar reminders. The most touching part is that she always gives us a kiss on the cheek-a beautiful sign that the warmth and connection remain. Right at Home North Leeds provided support and care for my aunt in her own home for the last few months of her life. From the start Right at Home were easy to contact and communicate with. In our contacts with the team, it was clear that they put my aunt's needs and wishes at the centre of providing
support for her.
We really liked the way that the managers came to meet my aunt and got to know her a little so that they could match the staff from the team who would support her, with my aunt's needs and personality. My aunt spoke about the fact that everyone who came to support her were very respectful and friendly.
We also found the team to be really helpful and flexible in providing support - it was helpful that they could sometimes take her to appointments and also to provide extra support at times when family members and other support were unable to do their regular visits.
I would recommend Right at Home North Leeds without hesitation to anyone needing support in their own home.

My 99-year-old dad needed support after injuries to both arms. We chose Right at Home as their pitch placed greater emphasis on the emotional side of being cared for than others. Two one-hour visits per day covered all his needs from dressing and personal care to meal preparation and laundry. He quickly
got to know his carers personally and cannot speak highly enough about their support and assistance. The carers encouraged my dad with his physiotherapy exercises and regaining his independence in terms of washing, dressing and preparing his food. After a few weeks we dropped down to one visit per day and then later 3 visits per week. At all times there has been clear communication between the family and Right at Home so that all arrangements worked out smoothly. We won't hesitate to use this company again.

The staff at Right At Home have been great.
We made contact as Mum was deteriorating with dementia and in need of more help.
Following a detailed assessment and home visit, the team were able to rapidly get a package of care in place that felt both professional yet personalised. The lead time to start
the package was a matter of days and that helped take a weight off our minds.
Right At Home initially started visits twice daily but have increased to three times daily after gauging Mum's needs. The care provided has been comprehensive and compassionate.
The carers have worked wonders with Mum - managing personal care, nutritional needs and engaging in social activities, both at home and with trips out.
In addition to the care provided for Mum being great, the team have also provided practical assistance to us by helping get repairs done around the house which has been a godsend as we live a distance away.

Right At Home have been very professional and supportive from day one providing support on a weekly basis to my elderly mother (92). Who is still very independent but needs a little bit of extra support. I have built a strong relationship with them as my mum‘s carer and they go the extra mile when you
need some help and advice.

The manager and her team provided great care at very short notice, supporting Mum in her home and helping her with all her basic hygiene needs, encouraging her to mobilise and regain her confidence after a recent spell in hospital.
Help was also provided with cleaning, household chores and shopping,
and encouraging mum to eat regular meals.
Helping mum, helped and supported us.

I contacted them to help support my husband who was struggling with serious mobility issues at home. Care was offered three times a week to support his needs. The carer and manager had visited to complete an assessment and provide a comprehensive care package. They have been brilliant and supported
both of us through a very difficult time. I would highly recommend this company without hesitation to anyone seeking help and support at home.

The service from Right at Home has always been excellent. The response to me requesting a service/support for my wife was both quick and empathetic. The introduction of staff to my wife was very gentle and she has taken very quickly to the staff supporting her. I have witnessed how gentle and client-focused
they have been, always treating my wife with the respect and dignity she required and overall it has been an excellent service.

Having lived in North Leeds for over 20 years, I know the area like the back of my hand – and I’m incredibly proud to serve the community I call home. As the Owner and Managing Director of Right at Home North Leeds, Otley & Horsforth, I feel privileged to provide high-quality, reliable home care services that help people live comfortably and confidently in their own homes.


Since the age of 30, I’ve owned and successfully managed several businesses – but nothing has been more rewarding than combining my entrepreneurial experience with my true passion: helping people.


I’m especially committed to supporting older adults and those living with dementia, which is why I volunteer with several fantastic local organisations including AVSED, Guiseley Senior Citizens, Guiseley Memories, and Dementia Friendly Horsforth. Whether I’m on a steering group or serving tea at a social, I love being hands-on in the Leeds community.


Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to my two wonderful kids, Ella and Jack, and enjoy long walks with our lively Yorkshire whippet, Alfie. I also love camping, travelling, and getting stuck into the occasional property renovation project.


At Right at Home North Leeds, Otley & Horsforth, I’m surrounded by a dedicated team of professional CareGivers who go above and beyond every day. We provide a wide range of personalised support – including personal care, companionship, respite care, and specialist dementia care – across North Leeds, Otley and Horsforth. Hi, I’m Anna, the Registered Manager at Right at Home North Leeds, Otley and Horsforth, and I’m proud to support our wonderful team from our office in Horsforth.


I’ve lived in Yeadon for many years, and my heart truly belongs here. It’s a privilege to now serve the very communities I’ve grown up in and care deeply about.


My journey into care began in the most personal way – as an unpaid carer for my Grandma, who was living with Alzheimer’s disease. Supporting her through the challenges of dementia was both humbling and rewarding, and it helped me understand just how important compassionate, person-centred support really is. After she passed away, my Grandad moved into a care home. While the staff were kind, I know he would have felt more comfortable and connected staying in his own home, surrounded by the memories he cherished.


That experience inspired me to explore professional care work. I began my career in domiciliary care in Horsforth as a Care Assistant. I quickly realised I had found my calling. I progressed to Care Co-ordinator and eventually became a Registered Manager – a role I’m incredibly proud to hold today.


I’m passionate about providing high-quality, in-home care that allows people to remain safe, independent, and supported in the place they know best – home. I also enjoy giving back to the community through local volunteering with over-65s in Horsforth and Guiseley.


Working at Right at Home North Leeds, Otley and Horsforth has been an inspiring and fulfilling chapter in my career. From the moment I joined the Horsforth branch, I have not looked back.
