If you want high quality, compassionate care in the home then look no further than the right at home team. I live abroad and following the death of my father 3 years ago we realized that my mother required some additional help at home. The team were able to provide flexible, high quality care that suited
my mum's evolving needs from initial social visits to eventually full day care. Throughout this time the care felt like a true partnership, the team gave me daily updates which were reassuring living in another country. They were also incredibly flexible adding in extra visits as needed even with less that 24h notice. My mother and I can't thank the team enough for enabling her to stay safely in her home as long as possible.

The carers are most attentive and attempt to engage my wife in conversation which is not easy.
Progress has been made with personal cleanliness but there is still a way to go.
With the better weather around the corner I am hopeful that advantage can be taken of the garden or the odd trip out to stimulate
her mind. I do find that having the carer gives me a little time to sort other matter and prepare meals etc.

Right at home is the second care company my wife has been with in the last 3 years and I can only say they have been a godsend, they are always on time, the carers themselves are all very nice people that always go that extra mile, It doesn't feel when they arrive that they are only doing it for the
money, it feels like they are part of the family.
Let me give you an example the first care company we were with for 7 years in that time we didn't know any difference and thought it was pretty normal to have issues. For example weekends always an issue and some evenings, i.e. late arrival times, no communication.
The only reason we stayed because of 2 very nice ladys came only 4 mornings a week.
Sadly evenings and weekend late calls became more frequent and it was getting very stressful so we eventually had to leave them.
Thats when Right at Home was introduced and I could not believe the consistency always precise from day one with there time and excellent care, total game changer.

My stepfather has dementia and his memory and self-care abilities have been very slowly deteriorating over the past three years. He lives in his own rooms in the family house with my husband and myself who are his primary carers. I have greatly appreciated the flexibility that Right at Home offers.
We are able to go away for short or longer periods and have confidence that carers he knows and trusts will visit regularly at set times to provide company, check he is alright and carry out those tasks he may need help with. The carers are patient and kind as well as sensible and able to use their initiative.

Mum needed care after her stroke in July 2023, I was so thankful to have found Right at Home, who provide consistent care at consistent times, which was so important to mum when she lost her independence. Felt very thankful to them as her daughter, as I knew there were carers who could provide the support
and care she needed. The carers often went above and beyond for mum particularly when things got really tough for her. She would often looked forward to their visits. I would highly recommend Right at Home BS if you are looking for care for a loved one.

My wife required 24/7 support when she was discharged from Rowans Hospice. Options open to us was to put my wife in a Nursing home or use live in care. We used RAH live in care for a period of 2 months. The care and support workers provided to us were 1st class. The care workers provide one to one

I would definitely recommend right at home. Everyone who has visited my mum have been absolutely lovely. Very kind , helpful and genuinely friendly.

I am very happy with the service provided. The carer is very good interacting with my husband. I feel very happy leaving her to look after him for the morning. I know she will give him 100% attention.
My only concern is after coming for 6 months sometimes now she is scheduled to go somewhere else.
I am not told in advance and my husband doesn't need the change unless it's absolutely necessary.

I had my knee replacement surgery and needed the services of Right at Home twice a day. The ladies always arrived on time with a cheery face. They helped me particularly with taking my shower which is very difficult after that surgery and putting on my surgical stockings. Nothing was too much and

The ladies who came were very good ,always on time,very friendly and very helpful i would have no problem recommending them to someone else they will do anything you ask of them washing, ironing, cooking

The daily support from Right at Home for our mother has been excellent throughout. As she was not keen to have help, we started last summer with twice weekly visits to 'help with housework'. As her needs changed, in October this moved to daily visits, help with personal care, dressing and reminders
to take medication. This reassured us that mum's
day began safely, and that she had friendly company, breakfast and a hot drink.


All the carers were kind and understood the difficulties faced by a very independent elderly lady with dementia and mobility issues. They followed the care plan effectively and were fastidious in reporting any concerns. The app allowed us to see how mum was doing each day and is very easy to access.
The office staff are approachable, reassuring, professional, easy to contact and they ensured that mum's changing needs were met.
Our family highly recommend Right at Home without reservation.
