Overall Experience

From the outset, Right at Home's approach has been professional and competent. Great care is taken to assess the service user's precise needs and capabilities. The carers selected by the care manager are excellent ( two named individuals providing a stable, reliable service ) with whom my wife has bonded very well. (The care needed is post-stroke). She and I are very pleased indeed with the service offered and we wholeheartedly recommend Right at Home.

They were very quick to respond when my mum had a sharp decline and I needed carers to come in starting immediately. Caroline came that same afternoon to do the assessment and a care plan was implemented straight away. They showed care and compassion and were completely trustworthy.

Without the ongoing care provided it would not be possible for dad to continue living in his own home. The staff are friendly, efficient and care about dad. They provide excellent care and have great daily interaction with dad. I am very pleased that the care package is to continue with Right at Home.

We as a group of friends are helping an older lady friend of ours who is 93. I have used Right at Home before and know how brilliant they are so when this lady wanted some extra help I suggested calling them. Vicky Parker the Deputy Care Manager is simply outstanding and nothing is too much trouble, She is the ultimate professional with a lot of kindness and empathy thrown in. I explained the kind of carer needed for my friend and Vicky found the perfect carer in Carryn who my friend adores. We have just upped the visits as my friend enjoyed them so much.
There are many Care Agencies but never have I come across one as excellent as Right at Home. All of their staff are caring, kind and professional.

I cannot recommend this agency highly enough.

We thoroughly recommend Right At Home. Dad enjoys attending his Dementia Group every other Thursday. He always leaves with a smile on his face. Christopher and Aaron are great with the group. They have a laugh and a joke whilst giving them excellent care. Dad also enjoys his ad hoc trips out to play golf (even more so if he wins!) We always feel dad is in very safe hands when he is with Right at Home!

Overall Experience

Having the carers from Right at Home has made a big difference to the quality of life for myself as carer and my husband. They are lovely, friendly people and are dedicated to looking after their clients in the best way possible. I'm sure it helps my husband as having different conversations helps to stimulate him, and breaks the usual routine of the day. It's reassuring to know that I can leave the house knowing he will be looked after and they always keep me updated on him.

Overall Experience

Highly recommend this very reliable care company. Carers are well-trained and confident. We get along well with all our carers. The office staff are caring, flexible and nothing is ever too much trouble. It is comforting to know they will support us in an emergency too, and my husband's hospital passport has been a great help to other medical agencies. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

They have all built a wonderful rapport with him and he says that he is cared for by "the creme de la creme". Overall Experience

I contacted RaH to get respite for myself and particularly to get assistance with showering for my wife, who has vascular dementia. Clare was very helpful in selecting the best options and set up a timetable to suit. I was nervous because of my wife's reaction to people previously. However The lady called Mawa came with Samantha and within 10 minutes had managed to get her into the shower and everything went well, and did so for the next week and a half, when she wouldn't get a shower, even though Samantha tried, but stopped pushing her before she became agitated, this also happened with Mawa but again because of the gentle manner, she has taken showers since. They also manage to get her to take her meds, which she won't for me, so that is a bonus. Also Clare has called me to ensure that all is well, which is a good thing. In conclusion I would recommend RaH to anyone seeking help for a loved one

RAH have been providing care, four times a day, for my friend for several years, enabling her to remain living at home, with as much independence as possible. I have been particularly impressed by their willingness to co-operate with other professionals involved in her care, for example working with Occupational Therapists to ensure procedures and equipment are 'right' for her, and safe for everyone. There have been several emergency hospital admissions during this time, and RAH have gone the extra mile in liaising with me, and with hospital staff, and timing care visits to coincide with arrival back home. They have shown patience and compassion at times of distress or sadness, and are prompt to address any concerns raised.

My mum really looks forward to her weekly visits from her companion. They always have a good chat and a laugh which raises mum's spirits. Sometimes they go out for a coffee or to the garden centre. Mum really enjoys the company and being able to go out without needing me to take her. I am also able to book the companion to take mum shopping when I have other commitments. Mum's companion goes above & beyond in her shift and is very caring. Not only has she changed mum's life for the better, she helps me to be able to live my life.

Overall Experience
I am so pleased with the Right at home carers. They took a lot of trouble to introduce the carers to my dad, which made him feel comfortable. My dad isn't the easiest person to talk to . He is quiet and not comfortable with strangers, but he is relaxed and happy with the two lovely carers who alternate weekends with him.
I was worried that he wouldn't allow someone else to help him with his personal care, but yet again he is absolutely fine with them.

This has taken a load off my shoulders and my mind.
