Overall Experience
Very accommodating. Mum had recently had a stay in hospital and so care package was suspended until she was discharged.
Caroline visited day after discharge and organised appropriate short term care. Once completed another visit to establish home visits going forward.
Nothing was too much trouble and we were very grateful for the standard of service provided during a stressful time.

Would recommend highly.

Overall Experience
The carers are most attentive and attempt to engage my wife in conversation which is not easy.
Progress has been made with personal cleanliness but there is still a way to go.

With the better weather around the corner I am hopeful that advantage can be taken of the garden or the odd trip out to stimulate her mind. I do find that having the carer gives me a little time to sort other matter and prepare meals etc.

Caroline was absolutely lovely and very easy to talk to which made my mum really at ease. She made sure to find out exactly what my mum will need by way of care and is conscious of how to make the provision as suitable and trouble free as possible. She also explained the procedure so we know what to expect and how to change anything as and when necessary.

Overall Experience

We used Right at Home for daily breakfast and dinner visits for my father who had dementia. The staff were friendly and always on time. They always took time with my father, who could be quite challenging at times. Unfortunately his dementia progressed quite quickly, so he had to be placed into residential care, but I would definitely recommend Right at Home. I found them very easy to deal with.

From the very start we have received outstanding service from Right at Home. They are always just a phone call away and we are never kept waiting to speak to someone. I'd love to name some individuals but you know who you are, thank you.
My dad has been so happy to receive support and especially when that support had to be stepped up. It went seamlessly at a very stressful time. It was lovely for dad to meet his carers in advance too and to establish a rapport.

Thoroughly recommended for excellent personal care, friendly faces, trust and commitment.

I am more than pleased with the quality of care received from Right at Home . Wonderful communication from the start from the coordinator , we were grateful for all of the help and advice and so pleased with our allocated carer ,she is a lovely, friendly lady that was punctual on all visits and helpful with whatever task was requested of her . She is ,self reliant and capable and gave helpful suggestions for Mum and I was grateful for this .

Overall Experience
To date I have been very happy with the service provided to my Mum which has enabled me to go on holiday safe in the knowledge Mum is being properly cared for. As an example, there was a couple of items I had not ordered enough of for the time I was away, and Mum's care giver went to the supermarket and bought them for her.

In addition, Right at Home have been very responsive to all my requests, some at very short notice when Mum has fallen and extra help was needed.

I have used Right at Home for the past six months. Always mainly one of the same two carers. They are both lovely ladies, who have become more like friends. It's been a real pleasure dealing with Right at Home as care providers for our Mum. They've been open, friendly and flexible, and the care provided has been excellent. Our Mum can be resistant to being provided with care, and Right at Home has met these challenges with positivity and kindness. Our Mum has developed a good relationship with her carers and enjoys their visits and the adventures they have together. I really appreciate the detail of the written reports made by the carers after each visit, which give me direct insight into what was done / where they went etc, These are honest but also often heartwarming about the embraces she gives the carers and and what fun they have when they are out and about.

We chose RightatHome to support my mum when we needed a little respite, and they have been so fabulous that we now use them increasingly on a regular basis.
Mum really enjoys their visits, even though it is usually a bedtime call, they still take the time to sit and chat and keep her company while we are out.
It is easy to track her schedule of care calls using an online portal, and any urgent changes have always been dealt with quickly and professionally.

I would definitely recommend Right at home for excellent care and support for people in their own homes.

Overall Experience

Have been using this company since 2024 for my father who stays with me for 8 weeks every 16 weeks. I have had the same carers each time & my dad who is 94 gets on really well with them. Never had any problems or had to complain about anything, they are always very accommodating & will always use them when he is here.

I am very impressed with the service provided. The client has received excellent care from her befrienders ( in spite of her caution when the service was suggested to her). I appreciate the fact that she has had the same befriender and, on the occasional time when the usual person was not available, care was taken to introduce the client to a new befriender. This was very comforting to your client.
The daily care was very good, and I notice a difference to the standard of cleanliness in the house as a result of your staff being there. Your client has enjoyed their company and I have appreciated the times when your staff have been in touch with me when they have a difficulty or are informing me of a particular problem. The liaison between yourselves and me is very good and is a huge help to me.

It is a help to me to read the daily reports from the befriender.

Having been let down by a couple of other agencies for lunchtime break cover, it has been refreshing to have a team that we can rely on. Each of the carers who attend Mum are friendly, caring and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Equally, the management team are very approachable and go out of their way to accommodate any last-minute changes that we may have needed to ensure the continuity of care. As a family, we are relieved and happy to have found such a caring and reliable company. Thank you for all that you do.

Grantley Lynch Job Title: Owner/Managing Director Joined: 2018
Grantley Lynch

I spent most of my career working in IT, including many years as an IT Manager based in London. More recently, I held a senior management role in Frankfurt, Germany, where I was responsible for leading a global team across Frankfurt, New York, and Singapore. I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science with a 2:1 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management. While I’m not fluent, I also speak some German.

After several years of volunteering (an experience I found incredibly rewarding), I began to reflect on what I truly wanted from my career. I decided to return to the UK to be closer to my parents and support them as they grow older. That personal decision inspired me to follow my passion, retrain, and eventually start Right at Home Medway, right here in the area where I’ve spent most of my life.

When I’m not working, I love spending quality time with my wife and two children, exploring new places through travel, cycling, and flying AutoGyros. I hold a PPL(G) pilot’s licence and enjoy every opportunity to take to the skies.

I spent most of my career working for Her Majesty’s Court Service, where I held several leadership roles across various Magistrates’ Courts. After having my two children, I made the decision to focus on raising my young family full-time. During that period, I volunteered with a number of organisations dedicated to child care, and also took the opportunity to retrain, completing several qualifications to become a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in some wonderful schools, including opportunities to work overseas. My transition from supporting young children in educational settings to caring for vulnerable adults in their own homes has felt very natural, as many of the skills—compassion, patience, attentiveness—are easily transferable between both roles.

Outside of work, I love travelling, both near and far, painting with watercolours, reading on a wide range of topics, and most of all, spending quality time with my family.

I was born and raised in India, where I completed my Master’s degree in Computer Science before moving to the UK after getting married. I initially began my career in IT and teaching, but transitioned to health care when my children were young.

Starting as a Care Assistant, I gradually progressed through roles including Field Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, and Registered Care Manager. Along the way, I’ve developed strong communication and leadership skills and gained extensive experience across a variety of care areas such as dementia care, palliative care, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, young adult care, and elderly care.

I was honoured to be shortlisted as a finalist in the Kent Care Awards 2021, which recognised my dedication and passion for the sector. I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development, having completed NVQ Levels 2 through 5 in Health and Social Care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my two wonderful boys and cherishing moments with family and friends. In my free time, I love visiting local temples for prayer, travelling, cooking, gardening, and reading poetry. I’m also proud to speak three different languages.

Caroline Grant

I was born and raised in Lambeth, South London, and later moved to Kent. I began my career as a Teaching Assistant before discovering my true calling in care during the COVID pandemic. Encouraged by others who saw my natural caring personality, I joined Right at Home as a Care Assistant and quickly realised how rewarding it was to support the older generation.

Four years on, I’ve grown from Care Assistant to Care Manager, gaining confidence and experience along the way. I now carry out care assessments, welcome new Clients, and make sure every care plan is tailored to individual needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, family time, and trying my hand at gardening - though I’m still learning which are flowers and which are weeds!

I’ve lived in the Medway towns all my life and attended The Robert Napier Secondary School before leaving at 16. After school, I pursued performing arts at college, but my passion for care led me to join the domiciliary care sector at 18.

I spent around 10 years working in a dementia care home, gaining invaluable experience supporting residents with complex needs. I then moved to a nursing home, where I cared for end-of-life clients. After eight months, I was promoted to Senior Carer on the nursing floor.

With 17 years of experience in care, I’ve completed my NVQ Levels 2 and 3, along with specialist training in end-of-life and palliative care. These qualifications, combined with hands-on experience, have helped me provide compassionate and skilled care to those who need it most.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. We love travelling together and exploring new places whenever we can.

Lisa McCullough

I’ve lived in Medway since I was 13 and attended Upbury Manor Secondary School. After leaving school at 16, I began my career working for a solicitor’s office in Chatham, starting as an Office Junior and progressing to Receptionist and Secretary. After having my son, I took a part-time role at ASDA in Chatham and later supported my husband with his flooring business while also running my own cake-making venture.

I’m a proud mum to one son and two daughters. Once my children were grown, I joined Right at Home in February 2020 as a Care Assistant. I immediately loved the role and the meaningful relationships I built with clients and colleagues. I was later promoted to Senior Care Assistant and now serve as Recruitment Coordinator.

In my free time, I enjoy walks with my dog Margot, spending time with friends and family, and signing with a Sign Language Choir. I hold a Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language.

I was born in South London and have lived in Kent for most of my life. My background includes a variety of people-focused roles, from supervising teams to progressing through a Management Trainee position. I’ve always thrived in fast-paced environments where people and purpose come first.

When I discovered Right at Home Medway, their values really struck a chord with me, and joining the team felt like a natural step. I knew I wanted to be part of an organisation that truly puts people first, and I’m proud to help grow a team of Care Assistants who genuinely care.

I was born and have lived in Medway for most of my life, and I’m now proudly raising my two beautiful daughters here with my husband. After studying Health and Social Care at college, I worked in retail management and hospitality, roles that helped me build strong customer service and people skills.

I joined Right at Home Medway as a Care Assistant. I quickly found that the skills I developed in previous roles were highly transferable into care, particularly when it came to communication and building trust with clients. Being pregnant at the time, the flexibility of the role allowed me to balance work and family life, which was incredibly important.

Over time, I’ve grown within the company and was proud to be promoted to In-House Trainer and become part of the Recruitment Team. I’m also involved in conducting staff supervisions and spot checks, helping to maintain high standards across our care team.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family. We enjoy going on adventures together, especially trying out new restaurants, as my husband and I are both big foodies!

I’ve lived in Medway all my life and love being part of this community. My career started in the fashion industry, where I worked as a merchandiser for the designer brand Joseph, travelling across the UK to stores like Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Harrods.
