Their help enabled him to remain in his home which he loved
I would highly recommend their services, their support was extremely flexible and on many occasions, at short notice, we were able to adjust the level of help.
I thank them for everything Grantley and his team did for my father.
Many thanks for your kind words your father was sorely missed by all when he left our services.
Thank you to the Manager and all his team
Thank you for your kind words, it is greatly appreciated.
Right at Home carers are efficient, effective, and empathetic. They got to know my uncle as a person, not just a client. There was a real feeling of connection. The management responded promptly to any concerns we had and when it was suddenly needed increased the level of care as quickly as possible.
Thanks for your kind words it was our pleasure to serve.
I am delighted to have the opportunity to praise the members of "Right at Home" family team. The ethos of kindness, respect, care and love that each member give to their service users is second to none. I have experience with other "carers" and feel that this company should be held as "best practice". Each member of staff give their clients excellent care, compassion, encouragement and remember to listen.
Thank you sincerely for your heartfelt gratitude relating to our care services. We appreciate you taking the time to write this kind review, and remain grateful for the individual hand-written letters you sent to each of our CareGivers, and management team that were directly involved with your...
I would recommend Right at Home Medway to anyone I know who needs personal care. Their care towards my husband who had dementia was exemplary. When my husband was very ill during the COVID-19 pandemic, they came to help and advise me and facilitated his admission to hospital. While he was in the hospital, the manager would contact me to find out how he was doing. My husband passed away after two weeks. After informing the manager, she offered her sincere condolences. To me this was comforting. I realised that they cared about people and not just for the money. I would recommend it in the future when required.
Many thanks for your kind words, Ashby. It was our sincere pleasure to serve your late husband and work with you. You know where we are if you ever need anything in the future, even if just a chat.
Kindest regards.
Would I recommend them? Most definitely, because they become part of the family and Mum loved them all.
My father received excellent care during the end stage of his life. He was supported by a live-in carer and visiting carers for double-handed care routines. This team treated my father with the highest standards of care, dignity and respect and ensured Dad was always comfortable. They communicated well as a team, with the family and the NHS. They ensured my father received appropriate support and treatment from the NHS to manage his condition and pain levels. They managed all of this within the COVID guidelines to ensure my father remained safe from the virus. This package of care allowed my father to die peacefully at home supported by his care team, just as he had wished. I will always be indebted to the team for their excellent care.
It might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for in life, the staff are good, any problems which rarely happen are dealt with sensitively and promptly. The staff are clearly well trained and have a positive attitude to their role and also importantly are not perturbed by any comment that helps them improve their relationship or role whilst working with the person. It’s an easy relationship with the support and the ‘office’. Professional and with attention to detail. I work with many care providers and standards vary, so finding the agency was a huge relief where we can trust that the care for mum is as if we are doing it ourselves.
Both the Management and care team are all very professional and friendly. Any request or concern is dealt with promptly and sensitively. My Dad who is living with Alzheimer’s was resistant to having help coming in at first but quickly came round to enjoying his morning visits from the lovely ladies at Right at Home who provided essential help with his personal care needs and the companionship he was missing. I felt happy in the knowledge that Dad was up, dressed, fed and set up for the day whilst I went to work. Unfortunately, my Dad’s condition has now progressed to the stage where he has had to go into full-time care but I recommend Right at Home for anyone who finds their loved one needs some help coming in whilst they are still able to live in their own home.
I would definitely recommend their service.
I was very unsure about having carers to look after mum but from the first meeting with Right at Home they were very friendly towards mum and she gelled with each carer that came to meet her before commencing. My sister, myself and mum feel we have been very lucky to have such caring staff looking after mum they all give exceptional care and give myself and sister peace of mind that mum is in good hands. Thank you.
I contacted Right at Home after needing some help with my mum who has dementia after my dad passed away. I chose the company based on the fact they were a local family run business, which I liked the sound of. They were always efficient and friendly and sorted mum out with an appropriate carer for my mum's needs, who had been very resistant to getting outside care in, but got on with her carer very well who always manages to put mum at ease and cheer her up when she’s low.
My mum was in a really depressed position, desperate for reliable, professional and kind care in her home. I had to move her care package because of serious concerns and being very fragile, I was so worried about what to do. From the first moment I spoke to the owner everything changed. This is unlike any care we’ve ever experienced before, big promises were made and every one was delivered on, plus more. My mum is being supported by delightful people who really do care, and provide her with everything she needs in a professional, polite, caring way. They are so kind, also very well trained, knowledgeable and excellent at what they do.
We have nothing but praise or Right at Home from last year when we started to use this company we have always been confident with their care for mum. The care providers, management and top man have always treated us individually and been keen to sort out any amendments or queries that might occur. They have been very considerate with mums illness and mum is pleased with their care.
We have used Right at Home for several months now and cannot fault their service from the caregivers through to the management team. They always communicate regularly to us by telephone, email etc if there are any concerns and go the extra mile by liaising with the GP, district nurse and pharmacy on our behalf which is fantastic and way beyond their remit. I have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home to anyone that needs good quality care for their loved ones.
I have used various caring companies but found Right at Home to be elitist in caring, they provide a bespoke service and are the only caring company I have used that actually do what they say they will do. They have provided care for my mother since March of this year. I find the company and all the staff to be extremely helpful and willing to resolve any issues swiftly and with professionalism. I could see all the carers have been provided with excellent training, finding them to be conscientious, kind, helpful and prepared to do whatever was asked of them. It's a pleasure to have met them, they have great personalities and positive attitudes.
Accommodating with regard to care requirements, pleasant and helpful carers.
Also, management and owner can be approached easily.
It was way back in December 2018 that Right at Home (Medway) came to our rescue when our previous CareGivers decided they did not wish to provide personal care any longer for my wife. Since that day our personal CareGivers have provided personal care in a professional way far above what could have been expected for my wife. My wife needs a lot of 'tender loving care' and attention, and this has been provided by her personal CareGivers readily, with a smile, and when necessary, with a laugh. Her personal CareGivers have always arrived on the agreed time and on many occasions have had to listen with interest whenever my wife reminisces about her garden and the like. When my wife's two principal personal CareGivers are not available their two 'shadows' followed in their footsteps and provide the same quality of care to which my wife is now accustomed. This certainly demonstrates an excellent degree of training and an extremely good Management Team. I have purposely refrained from mentioning names but the CareGivers will easily recognise themselves and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their dedicated care and attention. Without their attention to my wife's requirements, we would not have been able to have stayed in our own home. The Management Team have gone out of their way to provide extra care whenever my wife required it, including providing assistance for her urgent hospital visit at very short notice. A special mention should be made of one member of the Management Team who appears to have the magical ability to override our Doctor's receptionist's insistence the Doctor does not perform home visits and gets my wife numerous home visits when necessary. The best Christmas present ever was the visit from the District Nurse on Christmas Day. Not only overcoming the Doctor's receptionist, but this particular Management Team member also appears to have a direct line to Santa Claus as well. Besides providing personal care for my wife, I have not been forgotten; I get my shirts ironed, occasionally. Keep up the excellent care and management that you are providing and long may you prosper.
I am very pleased with my carer, she is very helpful. I and other people have noticed the difference she has made. She also makes me feel better as she is very cheery.

Meet the Team (9)
I spent most of my career working in IT, including many years as an IT Manager based in London. More recently, I held a senior management role in Frankfurt, Germany, where I was responsible for leading a global team across Frankfurt, New York, and Singapore. I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science with a 2:1 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management. While I’m not fluent, I also speak some German.
After several years of volunteering (an experience I found incredibly rewarding), I began to reflect on what I truly wanted from my career. I decided to return to the UK to be closer to my parents and support them as they grow older. That personal decision inspired me to follow my passion, retrain, and eventually start Right at Home Medway, right here in the area where I’ve spent most of my life.
When I’m not working, I love spending quality time with my wife and two children, exploring new places through travel, cycling, and flying AutoGyros. I hold a PPL(G) pilot’s licence and enjoy every opportunity to take to the skies.
I spent most of my career working for Her Majesty’s Court Service, where I held several leadership roles across various Magistrates’ Courts. After having my two children, I made the decision to focus on raising my young family full-time. During that period, I volunteered with a number of organisations dedicated to child care, and also took the opportunity to retrain, completing several qualifications to become a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in some wonderful schools, including opportunities to work overseas. My transition from supporting young children in educational settings to caring for vulnerable adults in their own homes has felt very natural, as many of the skills—compassion, patience, attentiveness—are easily transferable between both roles.
Outside of work, I love travelling, both near and far, painting with watercolours, reading on a wide range of topics, and most of all, spending quality time with my family.
I was born and raised in India, where I completed my Master’s degree in Computer Science before moving to the UK after getting married. I initially began my career in IT and teaching, but transitioned to health care when my children were young.
Starting as a Care Assistant, I gradually progressed through roles including Field Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, and Registered Care Manager. Along the way, I’ve developed strong communication and leadership skills and gained extensive experience across a variety of care areas such as dementia care, palliative care, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, young adult care, and elderly care.
I was honoured to be shortlisted as a finalist in the Kent Care Awards 2021, which recognised my dedication and passion for the sector. I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development, having completed NVQ Levels 2 through 5 in Health and Social Care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my two wonderful boys and cherishing moments with family and friends. In my free time, I love visiting local temples for prayer, travelling, cooking, gardening, and reading poetry. I’m also proud to speak three different languages.
I was born and raised in Lambeth, South London, and later moved to Kent. I began my career as a Teaching Assistant before discovering my true calling in care during the COVID pandemic. Encouraged by others who saw my natural caring personality, I joined Right at Home as a Care Assistant and quickly realised how rewarding it was to support the older generation.
Four years on, I’ve grown from Care Assistant to Care Manager, gaining confidence and experience along the way. I now carry out care assessments, welcome new Clients, and make sure every care plan is tailored to individual needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, family time, and trying my hand at gardening - though I’m still learning which are flowers and which are weeds!
I’ve lived in the Medway towns all my life and attended The Robert Napier Secondary School before leaving at 16. After school, I pursued performing arts at college, but my passion for care led me to join the domiciliary care sector at 18.
I spent around 10 years working in a dementia care home, gaining invaluable experience supporting residents with complex needs. I then moved to a nursing home, where I cared for end-of-life clients. After eight months, I was promoted to Senior Carer on the nursing floor.
With 17 years of experience in care, I’ve completed my NVQ Levels 2 and 3, along with specialist training in end-of-life and palliative care. These qualifications, combined with hands-on experience, have helped me provide compassionate and skilled care to those who need it most.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. We love travelling together and exploring new places whenever we can.
I’ve lived in Medway since I was 13 and attended Upbury Manor Secondary School. After leaving school at 16, I began my career working for a solicitor’s office in Chatham, starting as an Office Junior and progressing to Receptionist and Secretary. After having my son, I took a part-time role at ASDA in Chatham and later supported my husband with his flooring business while also running my own cake-making venture.
I’m a proud mum to one son and two daughters. Once my children were grown, I joined Right at Home in February 2020 as a Care Assistant. I immediately loved the role and the meaningful relationships I built with clients and colleagues. I was later promoted to Senior Care Assistant and now serve as Recruitment Coordinator.
In my free time, I enjoy walks with my dog Margot, spending time with friends and family, and signing with a Sign Language Choir. I hold a Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language.
I was born in South London and have lived in Kent for most of my life. My background includes a variety of people-focused roles, from supervising teams to progressing through a Management Trainee position. I’ve always thrived in fast-paced environments where people and purpose come first.
When I discovered Right at Home Medway, their values really struck a chord with me, and joining the team felt like a natural step. I knew I wanted to be part of an organisation that truly puts people first, and I’m proud to help grow a team of Care Assistants who genuinely care.
In my role, I look after all things marketing and recruitment. From creating meaningful content across our social media pages to helping bring our local community events to life. Whether it’s sharing stories that matter or finding the perfect Care Assistant, I love making an impact.
Outside of work, I’m a big music lover and foodie. Carpool karaoke is essential on my drives, and I’m always planning the next great meal out with friends and family.
I was born and have lived in Medway for most of my life, and I’m now proudly raising my two beautiful daughters here with my husband. After studying Health and Social Care at college, I worked in retail management and hospitality, roles that helped me build strong customer service and people skills.
I joined Right at Home Medway as a Care Assistant. I quickly found that the skills I developed in previous roles were highly transferable into care, particularly when it came to communication and building trust with clients. Being pregnant at the time, the flexibility of the role allowed me to balance work and family life, which was incredibly important.
Over time, I’ve grown within the company and was proud to be promoted to In-House Trainer and become part of the Recruitment Team. I’m also involved in conducting staff supervisions and spot checks, helping to maintain high standards across our care team.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family. We enjoy going on adventures together, especially trying out new restaurants, as my husband and I are both big foodies!
I’ve lived in Medway all my life and love being part of this community. My career started in the fashion industry, where I worked as a merchandiser for the designer brand Joseph, travelling across the UK to stores like Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Harrods.
After starting my family, I wanted a role with more balance and meaning, which led me into care. I joined Right at Home Medway in 2018 and have never looked back. Over the years, I’ve worked as a Senior Care Assistant and Care Coordinator, and now I’m proud to be a Trainer. Supporting new Care Assistants, sharing my experience, and watching their confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking my puppy Luna, reading self-development books, and going on holidays with my family. We love exploring new places and making lasting memories together.
