Stacey has over 15 year of experience in the care industry, starting out as a Healthcare assistant in a variety of settings providing support to service users with complex care needs including spinal injury, acquired brain injury and end-of-life care. My name is Matthew and I started with Right at Home as a Community Caregiver in April 2020, following the closure of hospitality due to COVID-19, and a 9-year spell in hotel management. Joining Right at Home was a big career change, but not something unfamiliar, as I was caring for the family during my career in hospitality. It's something I wish I'd done sooner, as the care industry is a great one to work in, and knowing we are making a difference in people's lives, and those who need it the most is incredibly rewarding.

I have worked in care from a very young age, working in the same care home for twelve years. I have my NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and a Level 2 in Dementia Awareness. I have worked in care for so long because I love making a difference in other people's lives. I treat every client as though they were my own parent or family member.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, taking my son to football and I like watching football on the television.
