I have met many of the carers looking after my dad and all have been so helpful, friendly, professional and kind. It has been wonderful to see them interact with him and providing him with the care and support he needs. In addition, they have been great with my mum - who I know has valued their company. Thank you all.
Thank you for your kind words, your dad (and indeed your mum) are an absolute pleasure to visit and support!
We use the company seven nights a week. The ladies who care for my father are attentive, polite and they also communicate fantastically with him. He has Parkinson's and he struggles with serious anxiety about strangers but he waits and enjoys all their company, they have lifted his spirit. Thank you so much, to all.
Thank you for the kind words, I know that the carers who support your father, look forward to seeing him.
After awful experiences with other care companies, I cannot fault any Right at Home (Stockport & Didsbury) carers. They are all fully trained (other companies tell you this and you discover they aren’t and useless, putting your loved one at risk). I am absolutely over the moon with the quality of care they provide my mother. I don’t have to watch over them to make sure they do things correctly or miss simple things like brushing teeth or combing hair. They do everything with a smile and are extremely efficient in all aspects of my mother's care. I highly recommend you to use this company and their team of professional carers; your loved one couldn’t be looked after better than with these carers. They are also considerate to me in addition to my mother. Thank you all - you can't imagine the peace of mind, and relief I feel to have discovered you.
Thank you for the kind words regarding our carers and the level of professionalism, reviews of this nature are a fantastic reward for our care staff. I know they will appreciate the time spent posting the review.
Right at Home have been amazing, especially through the lockdown. Dad has looked forward to his visits and he’s become very fond of his carer, the company alone has been a blessing. The regularity of keeping the same carer as much as possible has been invaluable with dementia. His routine now is regular and he is managing it great. The carers that attend are all highly professional and caring, always willing to do a little bit extra to help. In fact so good we have just recently increased visits to an extra one a week.
Thank you so much for your kind words! The CareGivers always say your Dad is an absolute pleasure to support and we hope to keep doing all we can to make things that little bit easier.
We were very happy with the standard of live-in care provided by the agency to our mother. The staff were very caring and committed to looking after mum, showing kindness, respect and sympathy in sometimes difficult circumstances. This was the only agency who were able to provide the live-in care we were looking for. We felt the staff were well supported by the managers in the office. The only niggle we felt was sometimes communication between the office team and the family to keep us in the loop about issues could have been better organised. But this is a small point when the care was generally very good. We wouldn't have been able to move mum home from the care home without the service and support provided.
Thank you for the kind words and general feedback, anything we can learn from is always welcome. I know that the 'live-in' care team appreciated the opportunity to help your mother and family.
A professional service provider. Responsive to changing client needs. Supportive in times of need. Very experienced manager who is able to provide relevant advice. Carers are professional, helpful and treat clients with dignity and respect.
We really appreciate the excellent feedback for both the care team and management. We strive to be professional and responsive in everything we do, a review of this nature shows that we are achieving in these areas.
My husband has used Right at Home for about five months. Without their carers four times a day, it would have been impossible to manage. The service was faultless. The carers always arrived on time and their kindness and care was second to none while treating him with respect and dignity, they laughed with him and encouraged him to respond. There was always a sense of fun and it cheered him up to be able to chat with them. They became really good friends with both my husband and myself. Each one would ask if there was anything they could do to help me when they had finished caring for my husband. They helped him to do exercises and really did care for him in every possible way, always leaving him clean, tidy and comfortable. In any emergency, they would not leave him until things were sorted out. Unfortunately, he is back in hospital again, after a second stroke, but if at all possible we would definitely want out Right at Home carers to look after him again.
Louise, thank you for your kind words, I know that your husband was well-liked by the carers and is certainly missed. All the best for the future.
I found Right At Home to be a very professional organisation. The carers also reflected the professional nature of the agency. I had the pleasure of having carers for approximately 18-months and have to say I didn’t have any issue with the care or standard of care that I received.
Thanks for your kind words. Developing a professional environment is important to our organisation, we believe that it helps us deliver top-quality care. Best of luck in the future.
As a family, we’re very happy with the support we receive from Right at Home. We needed to rearrange our care plan during Covid and the team have been extremely thoughtful, thorough and responsive to our (often changing) needs. The team of caregivers are knowledgeable and always extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
Thank you for your kind words. I know that we will continue to provide all the help we can to your family, during this time.
The Right at Home, Stockport & Didsbury Team were extraordinary in their compassion and professionalism in caring for our mum through her Alzheimer's and cancer. Supporting us right through until she passed, their presence and care gave her, my father and us great comfort and peace of mind. I can't thank the carers enough for everything they did, and not just the planned care, but also the thoughtful words of comfort, the jokes, laughter and energy they gave us in the last days. We'd like to extend our thanks to the entire team. Our family can't recommend their care services highly enough.
Very professional. From admin to carers. Excellent track app where I could view every visit by carers, time in and out, and a summary of what was done for my mother-in-law at the visit. Always helpful if I had cause to ring the office. Carers were just that, very caring people who delivered the service that was required. Absolutely no problem since engaging Right at Home in Dec. In these trying times of Covid, service and communication about precautions being taken were faultless.
Thanks for your kind words. It is very important to our organisation that we conduct ourselves in a professional manner, we believe this enhances the care we provide.
All the staff were professional, compassionate and competent. We’d had a very poor experience with another home care agency and so it was really important to restore my Dad’s confidence. Right at Home did just that. They gave us all reassurance and peace of mind at a very difficult time. They helped us to maintain my Dad’s independence and dignity for as long as it was possible. I would definitely recommend this agency and will always be grateful for the excellent care my Father received.
I cannot state enough how happy Dad is with the service being provided by Right at Home. Right from the outset and initial meetings, Dad and I both felt really 'at home' and confident that he was going to be looked after as a valuable human being, and that is exactly what has happened. The team took time to really consider which carers would 'match' Dad's personality, and we feel like we've struck gold. The team are caring, professional, friendly, fun, and understanding of health, social and domestic needs and are never condescending or off-hand. The staff clearly love working for Right at Home, and it is highly evident that professional development is valued by all employees. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Right at Home.
Have always accommodated last-minute changes.
Will go over and above to accommodate your needs.
I would be very happy to recommend to friends, family and strangers.
Ten out of ten rating.
Lovely staff, always friendly and helpful. My mother felt happy and safe and I would definitely recommend them.
I chose the company primarily based on the recent and favourable CQC audit report, as I had no prior references or recommendations from anyone. We were able to set up the day to day requirements before I went into hospital and, with a few tasks for me to organise in readiness, the service has lived up to all expectations. The staff (both carers and head office) are very approachable and helpful. The mobile phone App is very innovative, easy to use and convenient to double-check whether the carers have been able to carry out all the duties, or if Mum has had a “difficult” day!
Excellent care, treating their clients as people and often going above and beyond to bring joy into their lives. Highly recommended!
Right at Home was recommended by a work colleague. They were very thorough making sure that the companion for my mum was the right person.
I would highly recommend them.
Just used Right at Home for the second time. Absolutely wonderful! The carers are friendly, punctual and reliable. Family members were very impressed with them and their approach. I had a fantastic break knowing that my husband was being well looked after. I have used many agencies over the years but Right at Home is flexible and simple. No mounds of paperwork!
The quality of the service they provide is excellent.
The service is delivered with care, kindness and empathy. Right at Home Stockport always go the extra mile and I rate them very highly indeed.

Meet the Team (7)
Never before has a name been so fitting for Home Care, I intend for all CareGivers, my team and I to truly MEAN WELL!!
When asked in an interview what I wanted to do with my life, the instant reaction came back, ‘I want to make a difference’. Whilst I have developed two car rental businesses from small beginnings and influenced many employees along the journey, I have never truly done what I set out to do.
At Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury, I believe that I have a unique opportunity to deliver outstanding care in a community I have lived in for over seventeen years and use the skills I have developed to make a difference. Throughout my business career to date, I have always demanded high-quality service and asked each employee to treat a customer like their ‘grandparent’, knowing that your ‘grandparent’ should be respected and cared for more than any other family member. The experience of growing in a quality customer-focused business has made me determined to translate this into the Home Care sector.
I am a recognised dementia friend and will be progressing, as a dementia champion to train others in the local community. Hopefully developing dementia communities where as many people as possible can help those living with dementia to lead a full life.
As I now live and work locally I know that my family will become a strong support to the future development of Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury. With a wife and three young children at home waiting for the next daily update on the care adventure.
Stacey has over 15 year of experience in the care industry, starting out as a Healthcare assistant in a variety of settings providing support to service users with complex care needs including spinal injury, acquired brain injury and end-of-life care. Stacey then took on a part-time role as a trainer within the same company which gradually led to becoming Care Quality Manager throughout the 11 branches.
During this time Stacey developed her knowledge in training, assessing and supporting staff by completing a variety of Healthcare and teaching qualifications.
Stacey's wide range of experiences, skills, and knowledge make her an invaluable member of the Stockport and Didsbury team, helping guide our service to providing outstanding care by supporting the care workers to go that extra mile and make a difference every day.
My name is Matthew and I started with Right at Home as a Community Caregiver in April 2020, following the closure of hospitality due to COVID-19, and a 9-year spell in hotel management. Joining Right at Home was a big career change, but not something unfamiliar, as I was caring for the family during my career in hospitality. It's something I wish I'd done sooner, as the care industry is a great one to work in, and knowing we are making a difference in people's lives, and those who need it the most is incredibly rewarding.
In conjunction with the rest of the management team, I help to ensure compliance through staff observations and training and visit clients' homes to complete assessments.
I would encourage anyone who's looking for a career change, or people who have a caring nature, to look for a career with Right at Home.
My name is Natasha, I have recently joined the team at Right at Home as a Care Assessor.
I have worked in care from a very young age, working in the same care home for twelve years. I have my NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and a Level 2 in Dementia Awareness. I have worked in care for so long because I love making a difference in other people's lives. I treat every client as though they were my own parent or family member.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, taking my son to football and I like watching football on the television.
I wanted a career change, something challenging, and to help others.

I go to the gym or go for a long walk.
Don't let the bad days outweigh the good days. Care is not easy, but it's the most rewarding job you can do, making a difference each and every day.
I like to help people and would like to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

I wanted to be a solicitor. I worked for a property lawyer for a few years, and it was not for me.
