They have taken a lot of the stress away from me as I was the primary caregiver previously.
It’s been a relief to know that someone would be there with her on a (almost) daily basis.
Thank you for the lovely feedback - I shall be sure to pass it onto the carers. It was a pleasure to support your mum during her time with us. Thank you!
I cannot praise these wonderful carers highly enough. Every single one who came to care for my elderly, sick mother was gentle, compassionate and patient. They treated her with the utmost respect and dignity, and engaged her in friendly conversation whilst carrying out whatever was required. Nothing was too much trouble, and I am grateful that they made her last weeks as comfortable as possible.
It was a privilege to provide care & support to your mother during her time with ourselves. I know the carers will appreciate the feedback and I will be sure it reaches them directly. Thank you.
The care that was provided for my mum until she passed away in October was excellent, can not fault the carers at all, they are all very pleasant people, good at their jobs and they were very respectful and caring in my mum’s needs.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback - I know it will mean a lot to the caregivers who provided care and support to your mother. Thank you.
Our experience with Right at Home, so far, has been an excellent one. Each carer that comes to look after my husband's care needs is very friendly, professional and compassionate. They also take time out of their busy schedule to have a chat with me and always ask if there is anything I need. All the carers are a credit to the company.
Thank you so much for the lovely review - it is a pleasure to support you and your husband. I will pass your kind words on to the carers.
During this time I found the carers to be reliable and sympathetic to all his needs. I live many miles away and found that the care and support from the company was flexible and I could never have managed without them on numerous occasions. Right at Home have assisted my brother to retain his independence in his own home for longer than some people thought he would be able to. Unfortunately, the time has come when he cannot manage in his own home anymore. I would like to thank Right at Home carers for all their help and support.
Thank you for your feedback, I know that the care team will be really pleased with your commentary, our main goal is to try and keep vulnerable adults independent for as long as possible. I do hope your brother is settled in his new surroundings and receives the very best support.
Mum was discharged from the hospital to my home on end-of-life care a few weeks ago. She previously experienced an awful time in a local care home. My friends were worried about how I would cope but the carers have made it easy for me. Mum can be very challenging during personal care but each and every one of them takes it in their stride and are kind and calm and also very supportive of me. They could not be any more professional and I am blown away by the maturity of some of the younger carers. The week mum came home I caught a chest infection and my washing machine broke down. The carers were so kind and one even got me a loaf of bread and took mums sheets home to wash and dry while I waited for my machine to be repaired. The office staff are also really kind and courteous and nothing is a problem. Thank you for helping me to have mum home where she belongs and for just being brill!
Thanks for your kind words, I know when we pass this sort of feedback onto the care staff it makes the job worthwhile.
Mum enjoys chatting and having a banter with the carers, she looks forward to their visits and is grateful for their help. They always ask if they can do anything for me as well before they leave. On behalf of myself and my family, thank you for the care and kindness you show our mum.
I would 100% recommend Right At Home care team.
Thank you so much for this feedback - which I have passed to the care team already. It is lovely to hear that the carers are building such a good relationship with the mum and that you feel mum is getting the compassionate and dignified support that every client deserves. Thank you!
I have used Right at Home for the past fifteen months. Efficient, caring and the carers are amazing. From having carers twice a day to four times a day, nothing was ever too much trouble. I live over 100 miles away, and it was a great relief to know mum was being well cared for.
Mum has now had to go into a care home, and I could never have managed the last few months without the invaluable help from Right at Home. I cannot thank the team enough, for keeping mum independent and relieving me of the worry.
Looking after mum has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege - I am sure her carers at the care home will enjoy supporting her as much as we have. Thank you for your kind words - I will be sure to pass them on to the carers. Thank you!
As the next of kin and family representative, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Right at Home. Our beautiful aunt is having the best care at home possible. They are reliable, caring, knowledgeable and professional. We have had an experience with other care organisations for other family members and our aunt, and Right at Home delivers its promise and, in doing so, supported the extended family as well as the family member in need. Thank you to the whole team.
Thank you for your kind feedback - I know the carers will appreciate such kind words. We are so pleased we have been able to support your aunt and extended family! Thank you!
We have repeatedly visited and found pots of medication left with our family member, unadministered and left next to them.
We requested a brief update after each visit. The response received - With regards to a daily briefing, this isn't something we could feasibly adhere to as part of regular operations. No other option was suggested to us. Visits were due to be roughly one hour. We have seen carers leave and drive away from the property within 15 minutes of arriving. When questioned we were advised by management this particular visit had been logged at 50 minutes and that the ring doorbell installed must be incorrect.
There was absolutely no consistency with carers. Right at Home state on their website they are 'specialists in dementia care' yet our family member rarely saw the same person more than twice.
Dear Megan, we are sorry to hear that your experience with Right at Home has not been positive, we can assure you that we take all complaints and concerns seriously.
We have reviewed the case, especially looking at our contact points with the legal power of attorney who is different from...
My husband needed palliative care due to deteriorating health and we were given Right at Home. The care my husband gets from each and every individual is superb, not just the compassion but also the friendship they give to him makes his day. They also went beyond when I needed hospital care myself just recently and being the sole carer at home was stuck but the Right at Home team worked together to get us sorted till I came out. For this, I'm internally grateful but the whole team are amazing I'm so glad they are our care team.
Thanks for your kind words, our carers value this feedback. It is the reason they work so hard to keep vulnerable people safe.
My Mother needed help at short notice and the Stockport and Didsbury Right at Home were able to respond quickly and effectively. The assessment of my mother was very thorough but very sensitive. My Mother got on well with the staff that visited her twice a day. Timings of visits could be slightly variable but that was not a problem, given my Mother's needs. Overall Right at Home were invaluable in helping my mother gain back some of her independence.
Thanks for the great written feedback, it is always pleasing to hear when we have helped someone regain their independence.
From the first phone call received, to assessment and commencement of carers, communication has been first class. After just one week of visits to my disabled mum, I feel so relieved that I have not just support for her, but she has new friends and the reassurance for me is priceless.
Thank you so much for the lovely review! We looking forward to supporting your mother for a long time to come!
It is an understatement to say how extremely pleased I am that Right at Home was chosen - their service is exceptional.
Mum is from a generation of self-care, so accepting she needed carers was difficult for her. From day one, back in November, she has welcomed their visits as she feels her privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
The many carers that attend, are so caring, compassionate, professional and very respectful to both my mother and myself. Their care goes above and beyond the physical tasks, nothing is too much trouble, they leave mum comfortable and contented.
Praise to the management for choosing such special people. They have obviously given their staff the most appropriate training and guidance in not only the physical tasks but in the life skills required for this demanding role.
I cannot thank enough all the staff for enabling this period of our lives to be made so much more comfortable
What wonderful words! I know the carers will be over the moon to recieve this feedback. Your mother is a pleasure to support and we are so pleased that this support is making the difference!
Not only did the carers look after dad, but they always also checked on all the family and if they could do anything for us above keeping dad comfortable. The most heartfelt thank you to all at Right At Home for making dad's last days bearable for us all.
Thank you so much for your kind words, our carers thrive on such feedback, which we will pass to the team.
The level of care given was of a very high standard and helped to make mum’s final days as good as they could be with dignity. I can’t thank everyone enough, including the office staff who were always very helpful too.
Thank you for such kind words - I will make sure they are passed to the team. It means so much that we were able to make a difference to your mum and yourselves during such a difficult time in your lives. Your mum was an absolute pleasure to support.
His comfort and well being was always their first concern, although there have been some difficult times, there have been some very happy moments when they had a joke, got a smile, and even a song and a whistle!
The carers throughout have always offered support and comfort to myself. I will be eternally grateful for having such a happy, professional group of people come to our house to look after my husband. Thank you all.
Thank you for those beautiful words; you and your husband were an absolute pleasure to support. I will pass on your wonderful comments to the team.
Right at Home Stockport have provided twice daily care for my 89-year-old father who has Alzheimer's and mobility issues. Right from the first contact via phone to the office I have found all staff I have dealt with to be nothing but empathetic and compassionate but also very professional. The care my dad has received since starting with Right at Home has been exemplary. The main carers have gone above and beyond their remit on occasions with shopping etc when needed. They have also helped my dad look after his dog! The staff in the office have been very helpful and professional even going out to my dad after a visit when he was in difficulty. I cannot thank all the staff enough for giving me peace of mind as I am not local to my dad and I would recommend the service wholeheartedly to anyone in similar circumstances.
Thank you so much for your kind words - supporting your dad has been a pleasure so I am glad we were able to make the difference.
We were looking for a suitable company to undertake the care and attention my father needed. This was not an easy task as my father had stipulated he wanted to stay at home in his own surroundings. We came across the company Right at Home and after reading the reviews, decided to make contact to discuss my father's needs. We spoke to the Manager who explained in great detail what they could offer and any additional requirements if needed. Well, where do I start, the service given was exceptional, all of the careers went above and beyond their normal routines. They genuinely do care about their patients, providing a first-class service, nothing was a problem, making hot meals and providing beverages if needed, more importantly, they developed a strong relationship and become a part of the family. It's not often you come across a company who really cares about its patients, the attention to detail shows. Respect, Passion, Integrity, and ownership
Thank you so much for your kind words, Ian! I know the carers all loved supporting both your parents, I will make sure I pass on these lovely comments.
Very good service. Detailed meeting upfront before care starts. Carers are very good and thorough. Turned up on time and provided good care as discussed. Detailed invoicing, easy communication gives good peace of mind.
Thank you for the great feedback, I am pleased the process was a smooth one for you and your family. I will make sure your comments are passed on to all involved...

Meet the Team (4)
Never before has a name been so fitting for Home Care, I intend for all CareGivers, my team and I to truly MEAN WELL!!
When asked in an interview what I wanted to do with my life, the instant reaction came back, ‘I want to make a difference’. Whilst I have developed two car rental businesses from small beginnings and influenced many employees along the journey, I have never truly done what I set out to do.
At Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury, I believe that I have a unique opportunity to deliver outstanding care in a community I have lived in for over seventeen years and use the skills I have developed to make a difference. Throughout my business career to date, I have always demanded high-quality service and asked each employee to treat a customer like their ‘grandparent’, knowing that your ‘grandparent’ should be respected and cared for more than any other family member. The experience of growing in a quality customer-focused business has made me determined to translate this into the Home Care sector.
I am a recognised dementia friend and will be progressing, as a dementia champion to train others in the local community. Hopefully developing dementia communities where as many people as possible can help those living with dementia to lead a full life.
As I now live and work locally I know that my family will become a strong support to the future development of Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury. With a wife and three young children at home waiting for the next daily update on the care adventure.
Stacey has over 15 year of experience in the care industry, starting out as a Healthcare assistant in a variety of settings providing support to service users with complex care needs including spinal injury, acquired brain injury and end-of-life care. Stacey then took on a part-time role as a trainer within the same company which gradually led to becoming Care Quality Manager throughout the 11 branches.
During this time Stacey developed her knowledge in training, assessing and supporting staff by completing a variety of Healthcare and teaching qualifications.
Stacey's wide range of experiences, skills, and knowledge make her an invaluable member of the Stockport and Didsbury team, helping guide our service to providing outstanding care by supporting the care workers to go that extra mile and make a difference every day.
My name is Matthew and I started with Right at Home as a Community Caregiver in April 2020, following the closure of hospitality due to COVID-19, and a 9-year spell in hotel management. Joining Right at Home was a big career change, but not something unfamiliar, as I was caring for the family during my career in hospitality. It's something I wish I'd done sooner, as the care industry is a great one to work in, and knowing we are making a difference in people's lives, and those who need it the most is incredibly rewarding.
In conjunction with the rest of the management team, I help to ensure compliance through staff observations and training and visit clients' homes to complete assessments.
I would encourage anyone who's looking for a career change, or people who have a caring nature, to look for a career with Right at Home.
My name is Natasha, I have recently joined the team at Right at Home as a Care Assessor.
I have worked in care from a very young age, working in the same care home for twelve years. I have my NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and a Level 2 in Dementia Awareness. I have worked in care for so long because I love making a difference in other people's lives. I treat every client as though they were my own parent or family member.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, taking my son to football and I like watching football on the television.
