I have been using Right at Home for over 4 months.
I am very pleased with the care and attention I have received. The Carers are all friendly and professional in their approach. They arrive on time. I am always pleased to hear the key in the lock to be greeted by a cheerful Carer.
The staff at the
office are helpful and supportive, and have dealt with any problems I may have.

My stepfather has dementia and his memory and self-care abilities have been very slowly deteriorating over the past three years. He lives in his own rooms in the family house with my husband and myself who are his primary carers. I have greatly appreciated the flexibility that Right at Home offers.
We are able to go away for short or longer periods and have confidence that carers he knows and trusts will visit regularly at set times to provide company, check he is alright and carry out those tasks he may need help with. The carers are patient and kind as well as sensible and able to use their initiative.

My wife required 24/7 support when she was discharged from Rowans Hospice. Options open to us was to put my wife in a Nursing home or use live in care. We used RAH live in care for a period of 2 months. The care and support workers provided to us were 1st class. The care workers provide one to one
support to my wife which aided her recovery to get back on her feet.

Setting up this service for my elderly neighbour I cannot fault the care he has received. The carers do a great job and it has improved my neighbour's living circumstances immeasurably. This service has done so much more in to exceed expectations.

Right at Home have helped me for 2-3 years now. They have gone above and beyond for me and helped me at home and where I go out. They are very supportive, especially when things get extremely difficult. I enjoy the company of my carers and I find the office team supportive and I know they are always
there. I would recommend them as I get so much physical and mental wellbeing support help from them.
To be honest if I didn't have their support I feel I would not be here now.

Our family engaged the services of Right at Home in September 2024 to initially provide help to both mum and dad as they were struggling a bit with daily tasks , sadly our Dad passed away in December of that year and mum required full time attention. Right at Home then provided a live in carer for mum
until this month when due to circumstances out of our control we had to change to an HCC provider.
We can not thank all the staff at Right at Home enough for the support and care my mum and the family received. The live in carer was so good at caring for mum , we had no worries as to how she was being looked after . All the staff were very professional, helpful and supportive, we would have no problems recommending them as a company to provide care for your loved ones .

This was an easy review to make. My Dad regularly tells me about the care he receives daily and I have seen it regularly myself when I have been working from dad's for the day:
- Dad is happier - he has a daily laugh with the team and the spark is back in his eyes
- Dad is cleaner and well dressed

the team has used any unused time to improve dad's quality of life with some local cleaning and tidying. sounds small but its made a real difference.
- in the 2 months dad has been supported there have been 2 medical scares (he's in his 90's) In both cases Emma and team went above and beyond dealing with the GP, hospital and services. It was also the genuine interest shown, checking in outside of the rota to check dad is alright.


My brothers and I have more peace of mind, and dad is frankly happier in himself

The carer staff from Right at Home Petersfield have been excellent at giving me "respite breaks" from my wife who has Alzheimer's disease. I have left my wife in the hands of carers when she has sometimes been quite confused and even distressed or agitated, by the time I get back she is often giggling
and laughing with the carers who just do an excellent job.
The carers are very good at diverting her attention and talking about things that can "bring her out of herself" which means I don't have to worry about her while I am away for the short breaks I take away from our home. I can't recommend anyone any higher than Right at Home Petersfield who are sympathetic caring people.

The staff are efficient, helpful, willing. They cheer me up, they will go to the shops for me to get my morning paper. They help me with my catheter care which I find most useful. Particularly dear Gabrielle who looks after the changing of my catheter bag on a Tuesday. I am helped to order my medication
and manage GP appointments. All staff are knowledgeable and well trained from all walks of life.

The Right At Home team in Petersfield have been looking after my uncle in his home since he has developed a moderate dementia illness.
The Carers visits provide structure to his day, and warm, cheerful care and conversation, housekeeping and hot meals. His house has never looked so clean and orderly.
My
uncle comments on how Right At Home staff are all well trained and can't do enough for him. Although he was not at all keen on having this in home care at first he now really loves it. He enjoys getting to know individual carers.
All in all the care Right At Home provides has transformed my uncle's life.

I cannot fault the Right at Home team and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. When Dad had a stroke in Feb 2024, he was in hospital for several weeks, leaving Mum at home alone and in need of a bit of help. We contacted Right at Home, and they were able to support within a matter
of days. Over the next 18 months, my parents' needs were very much in flux - they were something of a tag team, taking turns in and out of hospital. Right at Home took this in their stride, working their magic to scale care up or down, according to our needs. I don't know how they did it, but I'm very grateful that they did! They also made every effort to provide consistency in caregivers, which enabled Mum and Dad (and me!) to really get to know and trust them. Mum often referred to the ladies as her friends, which was lovely to hear and testament to how comfortable she was with them all. Mum and Dad were looked after just as well as they would have been by their own family. THANK YOU!

For eighteen months, my parents have received lovely care from Petersfield and Havant teams, as they lived in the middle of the two areas. As a family, we have been incredibly grateful for Right at Home' s reliable and caring support, as during this time, our lovely mum passed away and dad's needs
also increased.
From the beginning, any concerns which arose, were quickly dealt with and resolved. The rota established a more familiar pattern and enormous efforts were made to communicate with dad, because of his total deafness. The team used notebooks and whiteboards and wrote such cheerful online reports for my sister and me, which reassured us of dad's well being, or advised us when there were concerns, as dad could not use the phone and never wanted to "bother" anyone. My dad is a lovely gentleman and several of the team forged truly wonderful relationships with him. Their detailed reports were helpful but also full of shared laughter and joy. Thank you to you all!

My two sisters and I have nothing but the highest praise for the entire team at Right At Home, Petersfield. From the very first pop-in calls (which followed a couple of months after the death of my father) gradually increasing to live-in end of life care for my mother, everyone was professional, warm
and friendly. They took such amazing care of her whilst showing her real respect - it really was heartwarming to see and we were not let down once.
Mum's last live-in carer Anna deserves a special mention: she is one in a million. She was so incredibly lovely and gave Mum something irreplaceable - the best last six months anyone could have.
We consider ourselves in incredibly fortunate to have found Right At Home just when we needed them and have since recommended them to all our friends going through similar challenges.

My mother has Parkinson's and is elderly and struggling, and her partner is elderly too. Although they resisted having live in care, five weeks in and they could not be happier. We have had such amazing support from Right at Home that it has - quite literally - changed our lives. The company is communicative
and great to deal with - always checking in and ensuring everything is ok.


Our carer is just wonderful. Kind and caring, and also super organised, managing everything from social to medical appointments, dealing with falls and emergencies, and communicating brilliantly with the wider family. She is so capable to deal with my mother - who is developing dementia - and takes everything in her stride.


I can not recommend them highly enough.

I have a lovely team of four ladies due to my complex needs - being peg feed and using a bipap machine. They are all very relaxed and confident and I feel I am being visited by friends rather than carers. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will do odd little things to make up the time spent
with me. When I need to contact the office I can do so by email and always get a quick response. On the rare occasions I need to. phone my call is answered promptly and politely. I would highly recommend Right at Home
