I cannot fault the Right at Home team and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. When Dad had a stroke in Feb 2024, he was in hospital for several weeks, leaving Mum at home alone and in need of a bit of help. We contacted Right at Home, and they were able to support within a matter

of days. Over the next 18 months, my parents' needs were very much in flux - they were something of a tag team, taking turns in and out of hospital. Right at Home took this in their stride, working their magic to scale care up or down, according to our needs. I don't know how they did it, but I'm very grateful that they did! They also made every effort to provide consistency in caregivers, which enabled Mum and Dad (and me!) to really get to know and trust them. Mum often referred to the ladies as her friends, which was lovely to hear and testament to how comfortable she was with them all. Mum and Dad were looked after just as well as they would have been by their own family. THANK YOU!

For eighteen months, my parents have received lovely care from Petersfield and Havant teams, as they lived in the middle of the two areas. As a family, we have been incredibly grateful for Right at Home' s reliable and caring support, as during this time, our lovely mum passed away and dad's needs

also increased.
From the beginning, any concerns which arose, were quickly dealt with and resolved. The rota established a more familiar pattern and enormous efforts were made to communicate with dad, because of his total deafness. The team used notebooks and whiteboards and wrote such cheerful online reports for my sister and me, which reassured us of dad's well being, or advised us when there were concerns, as dad could not use the phone and never wanted to "bother" anyone. My dad is a lovely gentleman and several of the team forged truly wonderful relationships with him. Their detailed reports were helpful but also full of shared laughter and joy. Thank you to you all!

My two sisters and I have nothing but the highest praise for the entire team at Right At Home, Petersfield. From the very first pop-in calls (which followed a couple of months after the death of my father) gradually increasing to live-in end of life care for my mother, everyone was professional, warm

and friendly. They took such amazing care of her whilst showing her real respect - it really was heartwarming to see and we were not let down once.
Mum's last live-in carer Anna deserves a special mention: she is one in a million. She was so incredibly lovely and gave Mum something irreplaceable - the best last six months anyone could have.
We consider ourselves in incredibly fortunate to have found Right At Home just when we needed them and have since recommended them to all our friends going through similar challenges.
Highly recommend!

Overall Experience

My mother has Parkinson's and is elderly and struggling, and her partner is elderly too. Although they resisted having live in care, five weeks in and they could not be happier. We have had such amazing support from Right at Home that it has - quite literally - changed our lives. The company is communicative

and great to deal with - always checking in and ensuring everything is ok.

Our carer is just wonderful. Kind and caring, and also super organised, managing everything from social to medical appointments, dealing with falls and emergencies, and communicating brilliantly with the wider family. She is so capable to deal with my mother - who is developing dementia - and takes everything in her stride.

I can not recommend them highly enough.

Overall Experience

I have a lovely team of four ladies due to my complex needs - being peg feed and using a bipap machine. They are all very relaxed and confident and I feel I am being visited by friends rather than carers. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will do odd little things to make up the time spent

with me. When I need to contact the office I can do so by email and always get a quick response. On the rare occasions I need to. phone my call is answered promptly and politely. I would highly recommend Right at Home

From the first telephone contact I felt we were in safe and caring hands to help my mother move home again after a year of turbulent ill health and 6 months of rehabilitation in a care home. Right at Home were able to be so flexible and move us from live in homecare to a gradually reducing schedule

of visiting carers. The whole team took the trouble to understand what was important to us and that increasing independence was my mother's main priority. The carers have been there to provide all the support and security she needed while standing back and letting her achieve each new independent milestone. The small team are friendly, kind, motivated and capable. My mother's original aspiration, after previous experience with carers, was to manage without carers at all. Now, she looks forward to these wonderful Right at Home women coming each day.

Recently, as a family, we lost my Dad. We were thrown into a terrifying situation after his discharge from hospital where myself, my sister and my partner were solely in charge of his round the clock home care. It escalated quite quickly and we were so out of our depth and quite literally drowning.

A desperate phone call to right at home resulted in relief we could have only dreamed of at the time.
Within hours Yas and Leighann arrived at our doorstep (and I cannot stress this enough) literally moved heaven and earth to save us. They found us the most beautiful carers that really looked after Dad like he was their own (Rachel, Ellie, Portia & Katie). Not only that but the three of us were cared for as well which is just honestly above and beyond.

If you read this and you or a loved one needs care please, please call Right at Home Solent. I promise you as soon as you do a completely impossible situation will seem possible!!

Overall Experience

My partner of 92 has mild dementia but has the added complication of a catheter, so must use the loo regularly and drink lots of fluids. So if left alone for too long forgets, so I need some help to have time to do my things and know he is safe. Right at Home has provided a carer who is a wonderful

companion and treats him with great friendship and respect. I can leave him with no worries and feel so much better to cope. The staff in the office as well have been friendly and so helpful. We love Right at Home.

Overall Experience

We used Right at Home Solent to help a close friend who had been diagnosed with Alzheimers and needed some home support. This was fairly light to start with but increased over time. The Kind and professional support they were able to give meant that our friend was able to continue to live in her own

property. The care was exceptional with regular carers all notified well in advance and any changes handled sensitively. The support from the staff in the office was also excellent and they were always happy to adapt to our changing needs. We would highly recommend RaH Solent for all your care needs.

Overall Experience

Right at Home recently took over care visits for my father. He is 92 and has Alzheimer's. The Carers have been amazing, they are kind, compassionate and professional. Dad is very slow now with walking, dressing, etc but they are so patient giving him time to do things slowly. I can relax knowing he

is in safe hands and being treated with dignity. The office staff have also been so supportive and helpful. I have been impressed with this company from the very first telephone call I made to them. Thank you to the staff at Right at Home.

I recently had a spell in hospital and my daughter booked the services of Right at Home.
I am a full time carer for my wife who has Alzheimer's.
The care and services provided by this company were second to none.
They understood the needs for us both and I was impressed how quickly my wife took

to the carers.
We generally had the same carer each time which made it all a smooth ride.
In conclusion I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone that needed kind, caring and an efficient service.

After a hip operation under BUPA I had to arrange my own care. My second hip op so I knew what support I would need. RAH Portsmouth was the first company I contacted. I was impressed with the person I spoke to. My instinct was correct. I signed up for their discharge from hospital package, followed

by three weeks live in care, scaling down to two hourly visits a day and then one visit a day until able to go solo again. Everyone was brilliant. Coped with everything, including a hospital discharge that did not go to plan! The live-in carer was a star. Ditto the daily ladies. They were always on time and packed a great deal into those hours. When I had a potential problem with my feet swelling, a District Nurse was called to check them. Package was flexible. Tailored to my needs. Management kept in touch throughout. 1000 characters is not sufficient to fully describe how good RAH are. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Company that does exactly what it says it will.

I approached using a carer with considerable doubt, although, as I am still comfortable and live on my own, I could not have been more wrong. The service I get here completely turned me around, it has given me complete faith in the carers who distinctively ensure that I am using the care-alarm system,

medication etc and on top of that, doing their tasks with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble, including home cleaning, running errands. I would not be without them; they are excellent.
