Our lives were at a very low ebb, my caring alone for my wife, Beryl, was becoming very difficult with the mood swings that Alzheimer's can inflict on a loved one. Then after a Q&A with a man, my mind was made up, for he was from Right at Home. RAH's arrival changed our lives, making the last 2 years as memorable in a good way as the rest of our 41-year marriage. We had 4 "angels" Lesley, Marion, Stacy and Larisa. They all brought joy and good cheer with them on every visit to care for Beryl. After a spell in hospital and discharge, Adriana made it clear, "no matter when Beryl is home, we will be there". Setting up the contract was a very sensible and sympathetic discussion. Those arrangements worked out very well indeed on a week to week basis. The people who served me were very capable and very pleasant to deal with.

My 87-year-old mum had a couple of falls and went into a home for a few weeks earlier for pain management and physiotherapy and to give time for a downstairs bedroom and bathroom to be created at home. My brother and I wanted to make sure she was safe and happy in her own home. Right at Home offer a very flexible, tailored service. They list every activity with which my mum needs help, such as showering, meal preparation and accompanying her on local walks. Via their app, every visit is recorded with full details of what the carer has done and how my mum is. This is very reassuring for the family. They also check (at our request) whether she shows any signs of confusion, and make sure she drinks plenty of liquid to help prevent UTIs. The carers are very friendly and helpful and my mum enjoys chatting to them. She has two visits a day but, with a few days' notice we can add, remove or move the times to fit in with my mum's schedule. They also take her to the GP for routine appointment.

The service was seamless, from my wife's discharge from hospital, to the arrival of her carer, organised by Right at home. The latter fitted herself around the family's needs and went over and above to ensure that she did everything that she could to make my wife's recovery easy and without worries

Mum has been able to get back to her original fitness levels after a fall which I don't think would have been possible without their help.

My only concern is after coming for 6 months sometimes now she is scheduled to go somewhere else. I am not told in advance and my husband doesn't need the change unless it's absolutely necessary.

I had my knee replacement surgery and needed the services of Right at Home twice a day. The ladies always arrived on time with a cheery face. They helped me particularly with taking my shower which is very difficult after that surgery and putting on my surgical stockings. Nothing was too much and whatever I needed was carried out in a very friendly manner. Also they kept my morale up and I really appreciated the friendly chats we had. I would always ask for Right at Home again any time

The ladies who came were very good ,always on time,very friendly and very helpful i would have no problem recommending them to someone else they will do anything you ask of them washing, ironing, cooking

Following a long stay in hospital (6 months) I was not looking forward to home care. But how lucky I have been! I look forward with anticipation/pleasure to my twice daily visits from carers. They are all so competent, cheerful, kind and gentle, always mindful of my dignity, what a splendid "team" of people! They have done much to make my daily round of life more interesting and I have gained valued new friends! Well done all. Thank you all.

A couple of years ago, Right at Home cared for my late mum for a short period and she was so thrilled with the care and support she received from her carer. Mum was only 70 and her young carer was so thoughtful and chatty with her - helping style her hair and painting her nails, which made her feel so upbeat and positive.

When my dad needed support this winter after a long stint in hospital and respite care, we didn't hesitate to come back to Right at Home. His carers are fabulous - using their own initiative as they have got to know him better and his likes and dislikes.

We have received excellent service and care from all the staff at Right at Home Reigate and Crawley. Following my mother's hospitalisation Kirsty and the team were available quickly to arrange care as soon as she came home. They have been very attentive and provided excellent care as well as general help around the house.
