The carers were very quick to draw my attention to a nasty blister on my Dad's leg back in March this year. Given that my father is a diabetic, I was very grateful to them drawing this to my attention so I could arrange an appointment with his doctor/nurse.

They have also been extremely helpful when my Dad needed an urgent prescription picked up over a weekend and went out of their way to ensure my Dad received his medication despite issues with the pharmacies. I cannot thank them enough given that I don't live in West Sussex and was unable to travel down to Dad's due to my own health issues.

What a joy dealing with the staff at Right to Home. Always cheerful and friendly and, at the same time, providing an excellent service. The team have been working with my sister who is presently in a nursing home. They have been providing additional support to my sister in the form of a car and driver/carer twice a week, providing my sister with mobility and companionship. Due to problems with her eyesight she has had to give up driving. Besides providing the transport the carers have helped my sister with sorting out around her house and at the same time provided companionship.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to hear that the team has been able to provide both practical support and companionship for your sister during this time. Maintaining independence, mobility, and social connection is so...

We've been using Right At Home for daily care for my 93-year-old mother, and the carers are wonderful. They are kind, thoughtful, and treat her with genuine warmth and respect. It's clear they truly care about the people they look after, and they always go the extra mile to brighten her day. Highly recommended.

I speak very highly of RIght at Home. They provide consistent high quality care, both in the office team and the visiting carers, forming friendly, considerate relationships with their clients. Because I trusted the standard of care they provide, I felt I could relax knowing my dad and then my aunt were in safe capable hands. On occasions, outside of the care times provided, if there was an issue, which I was unable to manage due to circumstance, they were always available to be a reliable point of contact to ask for extra support. RIght at Home are not just a service provider they are a team of genuinely caring human beings.

RAH Chichester have been providing care, support and reassurance to both parents over a number of years. Not being local, having good communication, flagging of concerns and feedback from the carers has provided peace of mind. Nothing is too much trouble, from drs appointments to getting milk, sorting out the printer and even clearing up after burnt toast.

RAH have worked with us to ensure the continued independence and safety of our parents.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, it really does mean a lot. Supporting families who live further away depends so much on trust and honest communication, so hearing that it has worked for you is the best feedback we could ask for. My Mum's care and support needs have been variable and changing over the last year and we wanted care than can respond to this with flexibility and understanding. She was transitioning from established carer relationships to new carers which was also a concern and stress for her and myself. The understanding, communication, process, flexibility and care have been professional and top class.

Reply from Nathan East, Managing Director at Right at Home Chichester & Bognor Regis

Thank you for this lovely review, it's genuinely so nice to read. We know how much worry sits behind a change of care providers, particularly when things are already in flux, so the fact that you and your mum have felt supported through it is exactly what we hope for. We'll share your message with the team, who will be so pleased.

Right at Home offered a truly professional approach from the start. Managers listened carefully to the needs within the home and supported new carers in building relationships with my parents and training. Initially supporting my Dad with dementia, and then my Mum with failing sight and mobility issues, we have had an ongoing relationship with Right at Home over many years. My Mum built very positive relationships with caregivers and their gentle approach supported her to live as independently as possible within her home, whilst also supporting her to complete tasks which she struggled. Wherever possible, there was a continuity of care offered from two regular carers each week. Regular communication ensured Mum knew who would be attending and monitoring enabled changes to be made to care offered as needs increased. We would highly recommend the Right at Home team as providers of high quality care in the home offering compassion and kindness. Thank-you to all for many years of care

Living a distance away from Dad, the service given gave us peace of mind that he was being cared for. No issues with any of the carers. Last few weeks have been challenging to say the least. Georgina and her team have gone beyond their duties to ensure safe outcome. We are extremely grateful. Thank you.

I cannot speak highly enough of both the office staff and the carers. The office staff always worked with my my mum's and the family's interest at heart, and provided carers that my mum simply loved. Her days were made special by looking forward to those carers. I cannot get over the kindness and care they showed to my mum.

The care delivered to my parents by Right at Home ( Mid Sussex) has been of the highest standard.
Every request by us has been fulfilled from face to face care to changes needed in hours required at different stages.
We cannot fault the care we have received from office managers/ staff to carers in their home.
My parents have grown very fond of their carers and my father (who has Alzheimer's) recognises them and is so happy with his care.
Their commitment and dedication to delivering care is exceptional.

We cannot thank ALL enough for everything!

Mum has been recieving companion calls for the last six months and really enjoys the carer's visits. Mum has Dementia and this impacts social abilities etc. The Carers chat, support Mum with small chores and play silly games which she loves! Mum has a regular team of 4 carers, a rarity these days! And these ladies really seem to care about supporting and encouraging Mum. We are very impressed with the company, Lisa and Leah do their best to provide the consistent care, along with any extra calls we may need, most of the time with the same carers from her team. Timing is consistent and any changes are communicated to us beforehand to make sure we are happy. The team of carers are excellent, and Mum looks forward to their arrival. Am well impressed with the service this company provides so far.

My father Charles was looked after by the Right at Home Team in Chichester. He lived alone as a 94 year old until a short illness and visit to Hospital. On his return we organised with RAH for carers to visit three times a day initially rising to 4 times towards the end of the care period. The staff were always helpful, polite and caring and managed Charles with empathy and respect. During the latter stages when his health deteriorated they were in regular contact with myself and my sister and were very supportive and flexible at a difficult time.

I would have no hesitation in recommending RAH to other families based on our experience.

We started using Right at Home in May 2025. Sammie the Registered Care Manager was very responsive to the needs of my father-in-law, and a care plan was quickly in place. I am my father-in-laws full time carer and Right at Home have allowed my husband and I to have 1 day a week to ourselves, giving me a much needed break. We generally have the same ladies visiting 4 times during the day. All of the carers are kind and gentle with my father-in-law who at 96 has dementia and other physical needs. Very importantly, if we ever have a query Sammie and other office based staff are easy to contact and quick to respond.

Reply from Nathan East, Managing Director at Right at Home Chichester & Bognor Regis

Thank you for the amazing feedback. We're really glad to hear that the support from the team has helped make things easier for you and your husband. Knowing that your father-in-law feels comfortable and well cared for means a lot to us. It's our privilege to support your family each week, and our Care Team genuinely enjoy supporting your father-in-law.

I called several care companies before I found Right at Home and from the moment I spoke to the office staff I knew I had found the right company for my mum. They weren't just filling in a form but instead listened to our needs. The ladies who visit are wonderful and suggest ideas on how they can help her each week. We are also able to extend visits to cover appointments too. I am extremely happy with the service received so far and all the staff at Right at Home. Thank you - it has given me the additional support we needed.

I have been using Right at Home for the last 2+ years since August 2023 to provide care for my brother in law and sister, who have both required support at home. My brother had multiple heath needs and my sister has alzheimer's. Unfortunately my brother in law recently died and my sister has now gone into a dementia care home.
I have always found that Right at Home supplied excellent carers - very experienced, dedicated and good at their duties within a difficult home environment. I met several of the carers over the last couple of years and they were all lovely people and seemed to form a good relationship with my brother and sister and provided high quality care.
The office communications was also very good - I was always kept up to date with issues that were arising, so these could be dealt with as required.

I also found the admin of the office to be excellent. Anton and his team are providing a brilliant service. I would highly recommend Right at Home.

I live in Australia and engaged Right At Home Mid Sussex to provide care services for my 84 year old mum in Burgess Hill. She was initially reticent at the idea but from the first visit by RAH she has been thrilled with them and looks forward to their visits.
All three of the staff mum has met have gone above and beyond expectations. And from my perspective, 10,000 miles away, I find them to be super responsive and excellent at keeping me suitably informed. I almost feel like they are now an extension of the family.

I cannot rate them high enough!

For over 7 years Right at Home have saved the day with my mother-in-law.
Always friendly and completely focussed on her needs, they come rain or shine and as her needs changed, they accommodated those changes with efficiency and kindness.
My mother-in-law formed some real friendships with a few of the people who came, and her horizons grew later in life in ways we hadn't expected. As she took in so many different stories in the lives of her carers, as they chatted to each other and swapped life stories, she gained a much broader perspective on society and the varied things people cope with in their daily lives. This had an amazing enrichening effect on her and she became more tolerant and understanding of much which had been closed to her life-view in the past.
Sadly as her care requirements changed, there was less time to chat, but that broadened view of life has stayed with her and is one of the unexpected benefits of having carers come to your home.

Thoroughly recommended.

Reply from Andy McNiven, Managing Director at Right at Home (Mid Sussex)

Thank you for your fabulous and enlightening review. This certainly does add a different perspective to the care we provide and it is great to see that it has had such a positive impact on your mother-in-law. She was certainly very much thought of by everyone who visited her and so it was a pleasure and a privilege to have supported her over these past 7 years.
