Right at Home Chichester & Bognor Regis

The carers were very quick to draw my attention to a nasty blister on my Dad's leg back in March this year. Given that my father is a diabetic, I was very grateful to them drawing this to my attention so I could arrange an appointment with his doctor/nurse.

They have also been extremely helpful when my Dad needed an urgent prescription picked up over a weekend and went out of their way to ensure my Dad received his medication despite issues with the pharmacies. I cannot thank them enough given that I don't live in West Sussex and was unable to travel down to Dad's due to my own health issues.

RAH have worked with us to ensure the continued independence and safety of our parents.

My Mum's care and support needs have been variable and changing over the last year and we wanted care than can respond to this with flexibility and understanding. She was transitioning from established carer relationships to new carers which was also a concern and stress for her and myself. The understanding, communication, process, flexibility and care have been professional and top class.

Living a distance away from Dad, the service given gave us peace of mind that he was being cared for. No issues with any of the carers. Last few weeks have been challenging to say the least. Georgina and her team have gone beyond their duties to ensure safe outcome. We are extremely grateful. Thank you.

We started using Right at Home in May 2025. Sammie the Registered Care Manager was very responsive to the needs of my father-in-law, and a care plan was quickly in place. I am my father-in-laws full time carer and Right at Home have allowed my husband and I to have 1 day a week to ourselves, giving me a much needed break. We generally have the same ladies visiting 4 times during the day. All of the carers are kind and gentle with my father-in-law who at 96 has dementia and other physical needs. Very importantly, if we ever have a query Sammie and other office based staff are easy to contact and quick to respond.

I have used the service for some time and I usually have the same person (Amy) although I have occasionally had someone else. All of them have done what I asked and looked after my husband well.

Right at Home have been like an emergency service for my father. They have always been there to support him and us as a family. They had treated us all with kindness at a very difficult time. We are very grateful to them.

First class in every respect. Thank you. I contacted Right at Home at very short notice having realized I would not be able to cope with the time table required for me to prepare for neurosurgery. I needed to shower with an antibacterial 3 days prior to admit once to hospital the person I spoke to arranged everything and assured me all would be well - and it was!

Exceptional care and consideration for my mum. Privacy always a priority . Punctual timing and plenty of notice when appointments need changing. Nothing too much trouble. We are so happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone that finds themselves with aging parents.

The team do a great job with our dad. He can be an extremely stubborn and difficult man, but they all take it in their stride and do a good job of looking after him. Living alone, and far from us, it's also really nice that he has someone to chat to a couple of times a day.

The carers have displayed initiative, friendliness, and were always been ready to make my situation as comfortable as possible.

The management team have been excellent. They are approachable, responsive and have always acted promptly, given good advice and showed great understanding. Thank you to all the team.

I have found it a great asset to have the carers visit me 3 times a week. They have been a great help with the various things I can no longer do myself much as driving to the hospital or doctor of sometimes do some shopping - also I have very much enjoyed a chat and a cup of tea or coffee.

Right at Home staff looked after my wife between 2023 and 2024. Other carers I met at a Dementia Hub spoke of RAH as being a good company for their loved ones. I now believe that they are in fact the BEST. All RAH employees displayed high levels of training, empathy and kindness, I was totally satisfied and significantly, so was my wife. Using a company like RAH not only provided me with the time to do shopping etc, but also eased the difficult transition for my wife from home to residential care when the time came. Sadly in December he had to have full brain radiotherapy due to a brain tumour and several cancers, RAH were called back again for 24 hour care and with the help of the hospice looked after him to the end their care and professionalism was amazing

Right at Home have been a great support to my father and to myself and my brother through a challenging time for our family. From the initial assessment and the need to put support in place quickly, they have been professional, supportive and have worked to help my father adjust to having care support. Their communication is excellent and all the staff have been professional, respectful and caring, working hard to enable my father to maintain his independence. There is nothing too much to ask when the carers have finished caring for my Father-in-law they then start to do the housework.
