Overall Experience

Right at Home have been providing care for my mum for over a year. I feel very reassured knowing that my mum's best interests are thier priority and that they listen and understand the challenges and adapt as necessary. I felt quite alone with the responsibility previously but now feel it is shared which is a great comfort to me.

I have found Homecare to be outstanding, compassionate, and highly professional. They provide excellent person-centred care, treating everyone with dignity and respect. Overall Experience
Right at Home, provide a carer to visit my Mum to help her with her cleaning and also take her out for a cup of tea or even a ride.
My Mum loves her carer and looks forward to her weekly visits.

Whenever I have a request or query I always get an immediate response.

Overall Experience

From the outset, Right at Home's approach has been professional and competent. Great care is taken to assess the service user's precise needs and capabilities. The carers selected by the care manager are excellent ( two named individuals providing a stable, reliable service ) with whom my wife has bonded very well. (The care needed is post-stroke). She and I are very pleased indeed with the service offered and we wholeheartedly recommend Right at Home.

Overall Experience

I contacted RaH to get respite for myself and particularly to get assistance with showering for my wife, who has vascular dementia. Clare was very helpful in selecting the best options and set up a timetable to suit. I was nervous because of my wife's reaction to people previously. However The lady called Mawa came with Samantha and within 10 minutes had managed to get her into the shower and everything went well, and did so for the next week and a half, when she wouldn't get a shower, even though Samantha tried, but stopped pushing her before she became agitated, this also happened with Mawa but again because of the gentle manner, she has taken showers since. They also manage to get her to take her meds, which she won't for me, so that is a bonus. Also Clare has called me to ensure that all is well, which is a good thing. In conclusion I would recommend RaH to anyone seeking help for a loved one

Overall Experience

Right at Home staff are always friendly, punctual and efficient. I am always contacted if they are unavoidably held up, in traffic for instance. Management are easy to get hold of and flexible if I need to make changes.

The initial contact with the company was excellent (March 2026).
The set up was rapid & operational very quickly. This was reassuring for me & my brother who both live abroad.
Dad gets on well with all the carers & is happy for them to work for him after his initial reticence & refusal to admit that help was needed.
We have just modified the visit schedule after our own review & consultation with a member of staff.

We will be happy to increase the number of hours as time goes by & if needs increase.

Diane states that the staff are always polite and kind, they assist with daily living needs whilst allowing her to maintain her independence. Diane has an excellent relationship with carers and feels that she has formed genuine friends who take real care in assisting her will all of her needs.

After falling and fracturing my shoulder the care service I received was excellent and I had carers in for over a month. I could not have managed without it. I would recommend it without reservation.

I am leaving a review for Right at Home as I believe it is by far the best caring company in Leeds (he had three previous ones).
They have been looking after my uncle for the past four years ensuring he managed to stay at home, as was his wishes, until his recent passing.
The compassion, reliability and peace of mind that they gave him, and indeed me, are to be commended.
A professionally run business who cant do enough, not just for their clients, but also for the people who have taken on the caring duties of an elderly relation.
I cannot praise them highly enough and I only wish I had found them earlier.

Mum really looked forward to her visits from her Right at Home care ladies, they were always so cheery, helpful and made sure
Mum was comfortable and felt safe. She enjoyed their cheerful chats and news about what was happening in the world. There were a lot of jobs around her house mum couldn't manage which she felt comfortable asking her visiting lady to do, be it sorting her cupboards out, cleaning, making sure her bathroom was clean and safe as well as her bedroom, all done enthusiastically. They also would stay a little longer if mum needed, which I found very reassuring. Knowing mum had such competent ladies visiting her daily was peace of mind for me, and Anna (manager) at my local office, more than once listened to my worries about mum and gave me some good advice (and I'm
sure lowered my blood pressure).

Mum will miss her care ladies from RAH very much and we both are very grateful for their care and friendship. Thank you , from Maureen Blackham and Lesley Barrett.

I cannot recommend RAH highly enough. We felt supported from day one with nothing too much trouble. My partner looks forward to his morning care visits. Every carer is professional, patient & kind, good to hear him laugh & chatter with the ladies. The management team also support me when dealing with GP & medication queries. .

Right at Home provide excellent care and service. We have been using them for 4 years and the staff are very friendly, kind and caring. They were very good when my mother became ill and have helped my father to transition to life without her. The support they provide allows my father to have the independence he wants so he can live his life on his terms. I recommend Right at Home for anyone looking for care of family.

Very approachable management team, with a thorough understanding of the complexities of the initial set-up of a package of care, vis-a-vis the service user and close family members. Patience and understanding, and leeway being essential. Consistent delivery, and prompt communication regarding any on going problems. Overall a diligent and effective delivery, and a willingness to find flexible solutions to inevitable issues that come up with such varied and complex challenges associated with caring for very vulnerable peole.
