The care that was given was amazing. They treated him with respect and dignity. The staff came on time, very polite. The care was arranged by staff in the office as soon as it was needed. I'm only sorry he can't be home with Right at Home coming in to care for him.

My sister and I were also incredibly grateful for the support you gave us. In particular, your quick response to our initial enquiry, how you helped us work up Mum's initial care plan and the flexibility and suggestions you gave when this needed to change were so helpful at a very difficult time.
Unfortunately, the deterioration in Mum's health has necessitated a move into a care home, but we'll always be thankful for the extra time you allowed her to have in her home.

From my initial phone call in March, the team at Right at Home have been wonderful, fully understanding and recognising the stress and pressure that our family was feeling to do the right thing and maintain Mum's dignity.
Staff walked us through the whole process step by step, to ensure our mother is given the best possible care she deserves and needs, I have to say the Right at Home team have then held our hand through the process even working with the district nurses and palliative care team to ensure Mum receives the best care.
A special mention to the carers who have been just fantastic so far with Mum, they have worked so hard to respect Mum and her wishes and Mum now trusts these ladies which is very important.
4 visits per day, not a single appointment has been missed in 5 weeks which speaks volumes for the professionalism of everyone at Right at Home.

I found the staff very reassuring at an obviously worrying time. My father seems to like the carers, and he is kept clean and tidy. Everyone seems to be very competent and caring. If there has been anything that needs changing, i.e. times of visits, that has been accommodated. I'm not sure how many different carers are visiting, but it would be nice if there were as few as possible so that dad can get to know them.

We now have 4 carers looking after your father through the week and I hope this gives him chance to get to know them all.
I emailed my enquiry and the response was instant. I set up a meeting with the manager, me and my mum within days. The meeting exceeded all my expectations and I knew straight away these were the ones I would put my trust in to look after Mum. Communication with the manager has been second to none and I can feel a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I know Mum is going to be in good hands because it's clear this is not just a job, the manager is truly passionate about what she does. I can see a lovely future for Mum and these guys because they actually care.
Right at Home were asked at short notice to provide 24-hour at-home end-of-life care to a single lady. Their team of carers were excellent in giving compassionate and dedicated care under the most trying conditions. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Only downside was that everything came at once and was very overwhelming. I live alone and having so many people in the house at the same time was just too much.
Efficient, professional, caring and compassionate. The care has been outstanding. Right at Home has made such a difference to my friends well-being. Right at Home communicate well with all of her support group and other professionals. They have been marvellous.

“Hi, my name is Richard Burgess and I’m the Managing Director of Right at Home Calderdale. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to make a difference every day in the lives of people in Calderdale.
At Right at Home Calderdale, I believe I have a unique opportunity to deliver outstanding care in our community, which I have been part of for over 20 years. My career to date has been in hospitality and the service industry, and I want to bring all the great stuff I have learnt together into Right at Home Calderdale to make a difference every day.
My father suffers from Alzheimer's, and I’m a recognised dementia friend and want to progress to a dementia champion to develop my understanding of dementia further and help people in our community."
Elsa's journey with Right at Home is truly inspiring. With a background in residential care and management, she started as a CareGiver to work around her young child. Her dedication was clear, and she quickly advanced to Care Coordinator, all while earning a degree in Health and Social Care. She eventually accepted the role of Registered Manager, a position she was thrilled to take. Now Elsa has progressed on to the role of Operations Manager for Calderdale and East Lancs.
Elsa's experience with the company from the very beginning gives her a unique perspective. As she explains, "I have an in-depth knowledge of all our clients and staff, and I live and breathe the quality ethos that drives everything we do. I love this work, and I'm dedicated to making sure our clients get the high-quality care they deserve."
It's a pleasure to be the Care Manager at Right at Home Calderdale. My journey with the company has given me a deep understanding of what we do. I started as a Caregiver, so I have first-hand experience of our clients' needs and the excellent work our team does every day. From there, I moved into an administrative role, where I focused on making sure our systems and policies were effective and supportive.
