Right at Home (Ilkley, Keighley & Skipton)

Polly has been just an amazing care assistant to me, she has always been on time every time. I will sadly miss her. We became good friends.

From the outset, Right at Home's approach has been professional and competent. Great care is taken to assess the service user's precise needs and capabilities. The carers selected by the care manager are excellent ( two named individuals providing a stable, reliable service ) with whom my wife has bonded very well. (The care needed is post-stroke). She and I are very pleased indeed with the service offered and we wholeheartedly recommend Right at Home.

I contacted RaH to get respite for myself and particularly to get assistance with showering for my wife, who has vascular dementia. Clare was very helpful in selecting the best options and set up a timetable to suit. I was nervous because of my wife's reaction to people previously. However The lady called Mawa came with Samantha and within 10 minutes had managed to get her into the shower and everything went well, and did so for the next week and a half, when she wouldn't get a shower, even though Samantha tried, but stopped pushing her before she became agitated, this also happened with Mawa but again because of the gentle manner, she has taken showers since. They also manage to get her to take her meds, which she won't for me, so that is a bonus. Also Clare has called me to ensure that all is well, which is a good thing. In conclusion I would recommend RaH to anyone seeking help for a loved one

Right at Home staff are always friendly, punctual and efficient. I am always contacted if they are unavoidably held up, in traffic for instance. Management are easy to get hold of and flexible if I need to make changes.

We will be happy to increase the number of hours as time goes by & if needs increase.

Diane states that the staff are always polite and kind, they assist with daily living needs whilst allowing her to maintain her independence. Diane has an excellent relationship with carers and feels that she has formed genuine friends who take real care in assisting her will all of her needs.

After falling and fracturing my shoulder the care service I received was excellent and I had carers in for over a month. I could not have managed without it. I would recommend it without reservation.

Right at Home provide excellent care and service. We have been using them for 4 years and the staff are very friendly, kind and caring. They were very good when my mother became ill and have helped my father to transition to life without her. The support they provide allows my father to have the independence he wants so he can live his life on his terms. I recommend Right at Home for anyone looking for care of family.

Very approachable management team, with a thorough understanding of the complexities of the initial set-up of a package of care, vis-a-vis the service user and close family members. Patience and understanding, and leeway being essential. Consistent delivery, and prompt communication regarding any on going problems. Overall a diligent and effective delivery, and a willingness to find flexible solutions to inevitable issues that come up with such varied and complex challenges associated with caring for very vulnerable peole.

We are so grateful for the care time and effort shown by the staff. They have been a god send. We needed holiday cover for my mother in law and we weren't disappointed. We will be using the carers again

I have used the service for over a year for companionship and now caring for my mum with dementia to give me a break as she lives with me. The person who comes is excellent and goes out of her way to help . The company have been excellent to deal with right from the start in setting everything up to meet my mum's needs and review regularly to see if I need more support.

We have been using the service since January. Right from the start the service has been excellent. We have been listened to and our requirements have been fully met if not more so. We were told that our Mum would have one or two carers each week and this has not changed enabling her/ them to build good relationships. The two carers go above and beyond. The app is really useful for knowing how mum has been and what the carers have done with her. In addition we can email the office and get a prompt reply. I would highly recommend this company.

I am disabled and my carer's husband had to go into hospital and as a consequence I needed help at home. Right at Home staff rallied around to help and I was very impressed. They were always very professional, cheerful and helpful. They were also punctual and willing to do that bit extra. I have no hesitation recommending them.

We would mention certain members of the team however this would be unfair as the whole team we have dealt with so far have been amazing

My father in law has used Right at Home for a few months now and he's delighted with their service. They go above and beyond for him every time they visit and are kind, friendly and caring. There are some particular carers he likes and Right at Home always try to ensure that these are the ones that visit him.

Having dealt with, and had poor experiences with a variety of care providers and individual carers in the past with other family members I have been very impressed with Right at Home as a company and the carers themselves which is very reassuring. I do not live close to my parents so feel confident that the care they receive is good making them less vulnerable

They are very responsive to our requests. The staff are very friendly and attentive and always punctual and always ask if there's a else they can do before they leave.
