The organisation is superb, the staff excellent, the administration faultless and the pricing very competitive and fair. I am delighted I found Right At Home and thoroughly recommend them.

It has really helped me as well, as I know on the days I am not there his 'bits and bobs' are done. Mainly washing up, cleaning the bathroom and making the bed. Another good thing is the extra touches doing things they have not been asked to do but see that they need doing such as putting out a new loo roll when the existing one is getting low, cleaning the kitchen floor etc

To be honest if I didn't have their support I feel I would not be here now.

I cannot fault the Right at Home team and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. When Dad had a stroke in Feb 2024, he was in hospital for several weeks, leaving Mum at home alone and in need of a bit of help. We contacted Right at Home, and they were able to support within a matter of days. Over the next 18 months, my parents' needs were very much in flux - they were something of a tag team, taking turns in and out of hospital. Right at Home took this in their stride, working their magic to scale care up or down, according to our needs. I don't know how they did it, but I'm very grateful that they did! They also made every effort to provide consistency in caregivers, which enabled Mum and Dad (and me!) to really get to know and trust them. Mum often referred to the ladies as her friends, which was lovely to hear and testament to how comfortable she was with them all. Mum and Dad were looked after just as well as they would have been by their own family. THANK YOU!

I have a lovely team of four ladies due to my complex needs - being peg feed and using a bipap machine. They are all very relaxed and confident and I feel I am being visited by friends rather than carers. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will do odd little things to make up the time spent with me. When I need to contact the office I can do so by email and always get a quick response. On the rare occasions I need to. phone my call is answered promptly and politely. I would highly recommend Right at Home

From the first telephone contact I felt we were in safe and caring hands to help my mother move home again after a year of turbulent ill health and 6 months of rehabilitation in a care home. Right at Home were able to be so flexible and move us from live in homecare to a gradually reducing schedule of visiting carers. The whole team took the trouble to understand what was important to us and that increasing independence was my mother's main priority. The carers have been there to provide all the support and security she needed while standing back and letting her achieve each new independent milestone. The small team are friendly, kind, motivated and capable. My mother's original aspiration, after previous experience with carers, was to manage without carers at all. Now, she looks forward to these wonderful Right at Home women coming each day.

Right at Home has been extremely flexible and sympathetic during some very challenging times. They fitted in several extra care visits at very short notice. Without their help, I would not have been able to manage.

It's lovely to be able to relax and feel confident when the carers are there knowing that she's being looked after just as good as if family were doing it! Cannot recommend them enough!

When my mother went into a care home, the carers continued to visit daily to support my father to manage alone in his home. They cooked, helped him dress and shower, assisted him with daily chores and provided much appreciated company and companionship. The management team worked hard to provide carer with whom Dad would hit it off. He so enjoyed the chats, jokes and camaraderie. He loved their cooking. The family so appreciate the kindness and care they showed Dad right until the end. It was life enhancing.

I don't hesitate to recommend them.

Right at Home helped my father (in his mid-90s) with two visits a week for the last 18 months or so of his life, during which he remained largely self-sufficient, needing greater assistance only in the last three months. He had the same carer 90% of the time but was always well looked after, mainly with cleaning, bed making, fresh meal preparation, foot baths and some welcome chat. He appreciated his visits but his family probably appreciated them more, knowing that he had important and valued attention when family members could not be in attendance full-time. It was a good partnership with the company and I would recommend Right at Home to anyone needing care assistance.

This care agency has helped me become more independent. My carers have gone above and beyond with the support they provide. I am no longer alone and I am now able to get out and about with their help. They have not just saved my life, they have given meaning to my life. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs caring, support and understanding.

My wife (with dementia) and I didn't want the initial visit as we are private people but dementia progress meant we had to find help with care in the home. The care organiser visit was very reassuring and she assessed our needs carefully and thoughtfully, identifying a good carer from her team. Carer’s first visit was successful despite not being wanted – carer was instantly attentive, empathic and fully listening. It was wonderful to see. Visits, twice a week, were then looked forward to and I could leave her while doing chores. Relationship developed into a good one all round and was a great relief that there was a clear way forward with Right at Home. I could share worries about the appalling future of dementia, and see how to do things with competent, good empathic people, accessing real help in any way. Care team also attended hospital, where broken hip revision trauma caused my wife’s early death. The love and help from them was truly a boost to me and daughter. An excellent company.

During the period of helping me to look after my wife who suffered from Alzheimer's, Right at Home provided an excellent service. The staff were very helpful with all the tasks that were required and a great deal of care and attention was given to make my wife comfortable and relaxed. I have recommended Right at Home to a number of friends who were also very satisfied. I would highly recommend Right at Home as the best in the area, without a doubt.

Before dementia took over, our friend made us promise to keep her in her own home as long as possible. This would have been impossible without the level of care Right at Home provides. Instead, she would not only be in residential care but geographically displaced. Over the years, the people at Right at Home have become her family providing what age, health and geography would otherwise make impossible.

When going through the process of choosing a home care provider, our decision was heavily influenced by comments from local medical professionals we were dealing with (e.g. doctors, district nurses, paramedics), all of whom spoke very highly of Right At Home when we mentioned various companies we were considering. We are more than happy that we followed their advice. Initially, my mum, a very stubborn and independent 90-year-old, did not feel she needed carers (she did) but now she wants to know which carers will be coming each day and happily talks about the relationship she has with them. In addition, apart from the care being provided, we are also very happy with the response from management to any issues that arise. We would have no reservations in recommending Right At Home to anyone looking for a care provider.

My mum has complex healthcare needs. The team of carers that are looking after her are absolutely amazing! They care for her like it's their own mum they are looking after. They respect her dignity at all times and are passionate about what they do. Having briefly experienced 3 other care agencies I would definitely highly recommend this one.

All the carers who come to see me are all very good. They help me with the things I can't do and are really friendly.
