Overall Experience

A huge Thank you to the entire team for looking after not just dad (the service user) but also for looking after mum too and for always including me in all decisions. We started with 3 hours a week for dad, which slowly increased to more hours, and then extended to waking nights to give mum respite overnight, and ultimatly last september when mum was rushed to hospital leaving dad home alone on a friday night Alison and her team went over and above to find us a live in carer which we have had ever since. This was all done out of hours but Alison never flinched, she just kept going until she found a carer which was all in place by saturday lunchtime, totally amazing! Sadly dad is now in a nursing home, but i would not hesitate to use Right at home for mum should the need arise. The carers do a very difficult job which they do with so much care and patience, they need a medal! Finally thank you also to the back office team that have also been so helpful and supportive too. Hayley x

I am so grateful to the amazing care provided by right at home to my elderly dad.
Dad's care needs have unfortunately increased, hospital stays, medication changes but this has posed no problem to the team of right at home.
Alison the manager is amazing! Understanding, helpiful , so knowledgeable, ,professional, a true trusted support .
It means so much to relax, trust in the knowledge your loved one is being cared for , as if they were their own family member.

A huge heartfelt thank you to the carers ,the whole team of rightathome.

From the first time meeting the manager we knew that mum was going to get good care. The manager easily identified Mums needs, offered flexible support to see how mum got on and I knew mum was in safe hands. The carers were very good, easy to get on with, they got to know mum and identified when family needed to be contacted. They always had a good word to say about mum and mum enjoyed their company everyday. It was very easy to arrange health appointments and hospital stays around the carers coming in.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with carers and management of Right at Home and I will not hesitate to recommend them.

Overall Experience
Office staff were initially very helpful when I contacted the company to set up the care package. All staff who visited my mother were patient and compassionate towards her. Service received was excellent at all times. The app was very helpful to keep up to date with visits.

The only negative aspect is the cancellation fees which I feel are a little expensive.

Overall Experience

After a stay in hospital we needed to find care for my mum to allow her to stay at home safely. We have found the whole team that have been tasked with the care of my mum to be excellent. They really put a lot into their visits, I can't believe how much they squeeze in the half hour or hour visits, including personal care, socialising, cooking and many other household chores. Most important of all is that mum is over the moon with them and tells me how nice they are and she enjoys the nice little chats.

This is our first experience of long-term care after many years of illness. I can highly recommend Right at Home as a care company from the start of the process, assessment, to every aspect of care. The staff are thoughtful, caring and very thorough. They support not only my husband but myself. The carers bring laughter into the house whilst doing a fantastic job, nothing is too much trouble. Overall Experience

We have used Right at Home to care for Dad for the last seven years. Having them visit him twice a day we are sure is the reason we kept in his home - healthy and happy. We always found the staff to be friendly and approachable, if there were any problems with Dad or his health they would be in contact quickly so we could sort him out. The office staff were always quick to respond to any queries we had and again were always friendly. Many thanks for your years of caring.

My carer has provided me with excellent help since starting and can be relied on, everything that is needed will be taken care of. I am comfortable and at ease with my carer. I felt at first a little uncomfortable having a complete stranger to attend to my needs, I need not have worried, as her outlook and consideration was impeccable. She is a hard worker and treats my home just as I like it. Thank you.

Overall Experience

Really impressed with the care provided by this agency. From the initial assessment visit through to providing personal care my dad was treated with respect. Despite not being able to verbalise he was included in the conversation and his ‘thumbs ups’ were acknowledged. Sadly dads condition deteriorated and he passed away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this agency to family or friends.

I have been using the Right at Home care services for the last 3 months and I am so happy with the care they have provided my mum. The care team are brilliant, kind, thoughtful and go the extra mile to make sure Mum looks lovely each day.

They assist with her personal care and meals and ensure she takes her medication. The management team are easy to access and happy to assist with any additional needs. The digital app also means I can instantly read how Mum is after each visit, I can't thank the team enough for their great service.

Overall Experience

My elderly mother has experienced problems in getting the right level of care from her GP surgery which has led to a deterioration in a long-term health condition. Right at Home carers took decisive action and contacted the GP surgery immediately to make sure Mum got the right level of care resulting in a GP phone consultation that day and a home visit from a district nurse. A carer then met me and Mum at short notice to discuss an update to her care plan. She was extremely helpful and supportive and I am grateful for their professionalism and care. All the Right at Home carers who have cared for my mum have been brilliant and I can't thank them enough.

My father has limited family around him, so a service like this is crucial to him and his family members abroad. It's wonderful to have such flexibility to enable Dad to stay in his own home which is most important to him. The added benefits are to have regular visits to monitor his well-being and to give him company.

Mum has been using Right at Home for about 4 years and is overall very satisfied. Most carers have been very kind and helpful and complete the tasks on the care plan. The admin staff are also friendly and do their best to carry out additional requests.

Right at Home has such a refreshingly professional and individual approach to providing quality home care.

On my return to the UK after 20 years away, this was the one business that actually had a set of values that I could believe in, and made me want to contribute.

You have to ask yourself some difficult questions before agreeing to trust somebody else to look after your family.

Right at Home gave me the answers that I needed to hear when I asked myself those questions: quality, reliability, compassion, humour, thoughtful, thorough and honesty.

Delivering care can be both difficult and stressful, but so rewarding. Having a team of carefully selected and properly trained people who are passionate about what they do, can really make a difference.

I’ve always worked in the service sector, and the need for quality, management of risk, transparent ethical behaviour and getting the best out of people have always been part of the recipe for keeping a client content. Helping the Polish Government establish their social rental housing system was a great privilege, but this is even better – with Right at Home, you get to help people stay independent with dignity.

It’s a great feeling to take home in the evening to the family.
