I have been with Right at Home since 2014, I can’t fault the carers at all as they support me with every with my daily care needs. I feel confident enough to raise any concerns I may have with the manager. Just one small issue is when I have a change on my rota, and the app doesn’t update for everyone due to technical issues. Just to have a courtesy call, otherwise I am extremely happy with the service.

Overall, very good. Some variation in care task implementation. Charge of £5 to cash/pay by cheque not justified (true cost is 43p). When hospital appointment is notified to me, I do not get fourteen days' notice so charging the client is unjustified for not giving fourteen days' notice to Right at Home. I am pleased to be a client of Right at Home.

Good to hear you are pleased with the level of service. As you are aware we provide assistance with paying electronically if you would like to take advantage of that possibility going forward.

I have a carer for half an hour each day, which is vital for me. All have been excellent and will do any task I want. I regard them all as friends. I have never been let down over the last five months.

Right at Home (Bristol) care staff have been visiting my 88 year old Mother for around 15 months now, and all the carers are friendly and attentive. On the very odd occasion when I've found the need to raise an issue it has been dealt with swiftly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this organisation to anyone seeking care for a loved one.

My mother has been living with her sister in Bristol for the last few years and Right at Home embraced her care, along with my Aunty's. "The Sisters", as they were known, loved their visits and were respected and treated well. Although I didn't have any dealings directly with the office, we were treated very fairly and felt valued as clients, something which is not always the case with care companies. The carers did what they were supposed to and medication prompting was taken seriously. Sadly, my beloved aunty has now passed away and my mother has returned to her home town. She misses some really lovely "friends" which the carers had become. Thank you Right At Home, Bristol.

The carers that I have met, whilst visiting my father, have been very pleasant and respectful. Dad is happy to say that he feels well cared for. As I manage his finances, I have issues with the Finance Department. His first invoice, in December, was incorrect, and despite numerous requests, this has not been rectified. I have been made aware that another invoice is outstanding but again, despite numerous requests for a copy in order to make payment, this has not been received. All the staff that answer the phones are always very friendly and helpful. I requested an update to his support plan to be recorded but this is still to be actioned, more than six weeks later. I have recently found that on two occasions he has not been given one of his tablets. I raised this with the office after the first instance but it has happened again and I now feel the need to monitor regularly.

As we have discussed, it is unfortunate that you have sent payment queries to non-reply email addresses nor mentioned that we have supported you in accessing local authority funding. As far as we are aware, all support plan issues have been addressed and you have access to this document and updates...

Having had disappointing experiences in the past with other care organisations, my father has been quite cynical about the industry as a whole. However, I can honestly say that he is totally comfortable with Right At Home, cannot praise them enough and really looks forward to their visits. It is really reassuring for our family to know that he feels happy and secure in the care of Right At Home - I wish we had found them earlier.

The team provided excellent care at home for my Mum and Dad over the past few months. All the visiting carers were extremely professional, reliable and friendly and quickly developed a great relationship with Mum and Dad in what was a difficult time for them. As circumstances changed the team were great at adapting the level of support and frequency of visits to meet requirements.

Right at Home have been looking after my father in law for over 2 years. They have been terrific! Flexible if we needed them more often, they all had a great rapport with him. I would recommend them happily to anyone looking for home care in Bristol. My father in law is at present now in a care home. We are unsure if it will be ongoing, and if not, will be hiring Right at Home again.

I would recommend Right at Home carers as provide excellent care to people in need of all ages. They are reliable, caring & always on call to discuss any concerns or needs you may have. During the covid 19 pandemic, the carers have gone up & above the call of duty.

I'd like to say a big thank you.

I am so grateful to all the staff at Right at Home (Bristol) who have been giving care to my mum now 89, over the last 2 years. Each caregiver brings different qualities, the office staff are so friendly and efficient. My mum was struggling to manage recently, her dementia getting worse, I hadn't seen her for 6 weeks due to Covid19 restrictions but realised things weren't right and decided I needed to visit. I have been staying with her a lot over the last 5 weeks but live 2 hours away so Right at Home were able to organise a weekend carer to give me a break for few weekends. We now have a live-in carer, which was organised really quickly by the manager and his team. I feel lucky that all these caregivers are prepared to continue working during the recent difficult times. Thank you Right at Home (Bristol), I can relax now!

Right at Home Bristol has been giving daily care to my mum for two years now. Despite being 95 she still lives independently and just needs a little care daily, with reminders to eat and take medication, etc. with lots of visits from family. The Covid-19 lockdown left my mother alone in her own property without the usual family visits and I was very scared that her physical and mental health would deteriorate drastically. Thank goodness for Right at Home Bristol. They have continued to provide an uninterrupted care service and seen to her needs every day in very difficult circumstances for both the company and all their employees. They have done an outstanding job in these very difficult times, getting a carer to Mum every day on schedule and ensuring her safety. Mum is fine, confused about what has been happening, and missing family, but fine. I clap for all the domicilary care workers who are out there every day doing such work. You are outstanding, one and all.

A really good care company, who go out of their way to adapt care services to my mother's ongoing needs. Brilliant in an emergency (for example when Mum's wheelchair handle got jammed and we couldn't get her in the lift just at the time a care visit was due, the office staff liaised with the carers out and about to move the schedule around so that we could delay the care visit, get a temporary fix for the wheelchair, and then the carer came.). Really good at working with family, and to look at care holistically across visits, carers and time, for example, if there is a minor health issue, it is recorded, and at subsequent calls, carers are actively following up on checking that things are progressing correctly. An agency that tries to operate as a 'family' and go the extra mile, for example by organising an inviting Mum to a Christmas carol service in December. They're really good!! I trust them to do the best job they can for Mum.

Mum has been using Right at Home care services since May 2019.
She was concerned about having carers to help, but since the beginning, they have been very kind, compassionate and caring.
Nothing has been too much for them, and as a result, she really looks forward to seeing them.

The office staff, especially the team leader; has been wonderful in accommodating our needs as well as showing concern for the whole family.

Right at Home has such a refreshingly professional and individual approach to providing quality home care.

On my return to the UK after 20 years away, this was the one business that actually had a set of values that I could believe in, and made me want to contribute.

You have to ask yourself some difficult questions before agreeing to trust somebody else to look after your family.

Right at Home gave me the answers that I needed to hear when I asked myself those questions: quality, reliability, compassion, humour, thoughtful, thorough and honesty.

Delivering care can be both difficult and stressful, but so rewarding. Having a team of carefully selected and properly trained people who are passionate about what they do, can really make a difference.

I’ve always worked in the service sector, and the need for quality, management of risk, transparent ethical behaviour and getting the best out of people have always been part of the recipe for keeping a client content. Helping the Polish Government establish their social rental housing system was a great privilege, but this is even better – with Right at Home, you get to help people stay independent with dignity.

It’s a great feeling to take home in the evening to the family.
