The ladies involved with my husbands care from Right at Home are caring and considerate. Carers aren't automatically caring people, these go 'over and above the call of duty' and are very supportive of me. I feel so much better after they have been. I am my husband's main carer.
They are always on time and even when last-minute early hospital appointments are made they always go the extra mile to sort new times.
Christmas this year they even had a trip to a carol service which went down very well with my mum who is 94.
She loves conversation with them and they are always busy whilst still having time to engage in conversation.
Very pleased.
All the carers have been attentive and helpful and are happy to provide some company and conversation as well as undertaking their care duties. They have also been happy to go that extra mile if other needs arise.
All levels of management and office staff are engaged, well informed about the day to day situation (and are willing to pitch in as required) and are efficient with the administration of the service.
With 3 visits a day, every day, care costs mount up but, given the amount of visits and the level of service, Right at Home provide great value for money.
Right at Home went the extra mile to look after dad. They quickly built strong relationships with him and the rest of the family. We were kept informed of even the smallest concern. Would recommend without hesitation.
I have a designated coordinator who goes above and beyond to not only to support my husband but myself also.
The registered manager also provides care for my husband and also supports me with me being my husband's deputy as I find some of the paperwork hard to complete and without his support in his own time I would find this hard.

The overall standard of care provided by Right at Home is excellent. All the carers re professional at all times. They ensure dignity is maintained and also care for other family members, not just the service user. They are extremely punctual, kind and will do anything asked of them. There is no way I could fault the care they give my Dad and also my Mum. There is nothing they will not do. Office staff are also very helpful.
I am very happy with the care provided. All the carers are excellent. I have asked for them not to send one particularly carer as I find it difficult to understand her, I am deaf which doesn't help.
We were seeking companionship for my 98-year-old mother on a fortnightly basis. The personnel that Right at Home provided were pleasant, cooperative, punctual and just right for Mum. We were happy to leave her with them knowing she was safe and her needs met.

The carers are all always well trained and friendly - this is particularly important for the live in carers mum used for the last 4 years of her life. I honestly can’t think of any carer from Right At Home (Bristol) that mum didn’t get on with - I wouldn’t be able to say the same thing for other agencies we have used in the past. In addition to the excellent care, the managers at Right At Home (Bristol) were always very helpful when we had dealings with the CHC. These funding meetings can be challenging for the service users and their family so it was very reassuring to know that we had Right At Home (Bristol) on our side. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Right At Home (Bristol) to anyone.
We have found Right at Home to be very dependable. They provide a caring, personal service and are responsive to our requests. We were particularly grateful when my father had a fall and had to be taken to hospital. The support we received was excellent during what was a difficult time.
Visits were made in the morning & evening by professional caring staff who went the extra mile & many becoming friends.
Visits were always punctual with notification given if they were running late.

Since moving to Right at Home, I am now able to relax, knowing that my mother is safe and living with dignity. There are, of course, problems from time to time but the office staff and the carers always work hard to find the best solutions as quickly as possible. Due to the consistent & stable care they provide, I have noticed a distinct improvement in Mum's mental health. Right at Home has such a refreshingly professional and individual approach to providing quality home care.
On my return to the UK after 20 years away, this was the one business that actually had a set of values that I could believe in, and made me want to contribute.
You have to ask yourself some difficult questions before agreeing to trust somebody else to look after your family.
Right at Home gave me the answers that I needed to hear when I asked myself those questions: quality, reliability, compassion, humour, thoughtful, thorough and honesty.
Delivering care can be both difficult and stressful, but so rewarding. Having a team of carefully selected and properly trained people who are passionate about what they do, can really make a difference.
I’ve always worked in the service sector, and the need for quality, management of risk, transparent ethical behaviour and getting the best out of people have always been part of the recipe for keeping a client content. Helping the Polish Government establish their social rental housing system was a great privilege, but this is even better – with Right at Home, you get to help people stay independent with dignity.
