It is a pleasure and honour to be the owner and managing director of Right at Home Grantham, Newark, Melton Mowbray and Oakham.
I am grateful to serve the community and truly give back in a way that is rewarding and improves the quality of life for so many individuals.
I live life with a spring in my step and have the drive to be the best version of myself. This drive to grow, to inspire, and to be the change comes from the values and morals instilled in me through my family, mentors, life experiences and most recently becoming a father.
I graduated from Loughborough University and spent 8 years working for a multinational corporate company. Working through various positions with increasing responsibility allowed me to gain invaluable experience in professional development, leading from the front, working with teams, and networking with the right people. However, in the back of my mind, I always knew there was a sense of duty to give back to others and simultaneously a desire to run my own business. This desire ultimately stemmed from seeing family members run their successful businesses and how passionately they did so.
In 2017, my wife and I opened Hot Yoga Nottingham which we envisioned and worked hard to bring to life. This was a powerful move to unite our passion for health and well-being alongside business and focus our energy on building a business with strong foundations that were authentic to us and gave us the platform to change the lives of the people who trusted us.
The COVID-19 pandemic was a time of reflection for me. During this time, I came across family members who were living with illnesses and required care in their own homes. Having witnessed the quality of care provided, I felt an inherent calling to research the care industry in greater depth. As my understanding of the market grew, I reviewed the best homecare providers in the industry, how long they had been operating and who their driving forces were. This is when I found Right at Home.
Opening Right at Home just felt ‘Right’! They were a class above the rest, from the National Office team, the reviews on homecare.co.uk and the awards attained, it was a very natural attraction towards launching Right at Home in Grantham, Newark, Melton Mowbray and Oakham.
I want to be known for being the change, following my dreams and delivering the highest quality service through Right at Home. From a health and well-being perspective, it’s also important to me to enhance the lives of every person I come into contact with.
This is my inherent nature, to become the best version of myself every day and make a difference in this world.
I strive to create an environment where individuals feel valued, safe, and empowered within their homes and community.
I have worked within the Health and Social Care sector for a number of years and feel that during this time I have made a significant impact on the lives of the individuals who I have cared for. My passion for providing person-centred care and going above and beyond the standard requirements sets me apart. I believe in treating every individual with dignity, respect, and compassion, recognizing that each person has their own unique needs, preferences, and aspirations.
Throughout my career, I have focused on supporting vulnerable individuals, particularly the elderly and individuals with specific needs such as mental health, autism, learning disabilities, and epilepsy. My extensive experience in these areas has developed my understanding and ability to address the unique challenges faced by individuals with these diagnoses.
I knew that I wanted to work for a company that provided the kind of care that is ‘top quality’, the kind that we all want our parents to have one day. This is what sets Right at Home apart from all other local care companies. Right at Home has a true passion for providing outstanding care for people within their own homes and offers a collaborative and fun culture for employees.
