Overall Experience

My experience with Right at Home care has been excellent. I was referred to the company by a friend, whose elderly mother has been cared for for around two years. I need At home care being substantially disabled following a serious fracture. My needs were thoroughly assessed at the outset by the management. I've been consistently and reliably cared for in every way that I required throughout my recovery. All of the carers are highly skilled, kind, punctual and completely dependable.

Overall Experience
I contacted Right at home to ask for support in caring for my mother at home in Nov 2025 and they responded promptly.
I had planned to visit my daughter in Australia and needed live in support for my mother whilst I was away.
They completed a full assessment at home, the manager assessing was friendly efficient and informative.
The service responded and made appropriate arrangements which when the arrangements changed they responded.
I have experienced a professional and caring service whose commitment to ensuring my mother was cared for consistently by the same carers and making sure her needs were met was always a priority.

If you are looking for high quality Domicillary or live in service for your relative(s), I would highly recommend "Right at Home"

Overall Experience
I needed a last minute carer for 2 weeks for my mum. Right at Home Solent were extremely helpful and accommodating , putting my mind at ease that she would be well looked after.
She had the same carers everyday, you get a rota of who is coming and what time. The carers were punctual and stayed the whole allocated time. They were very professional and caring and built a great relationship within a short time.

Cannot recommend enough.

I have been constantly impressed with Right at Home's care and support for our elderly friend from the very start. The managers and staff are excellent, checking up regularly on their service and also on Mum's safety. I know she is in good hands with them and they also help me by being friendly and approachable and professional whatever the question whenever I contact them.

We couldn't be more thankful and grateful for the care Right at Home have provided for my father. He lost his mobility the day after his wife passed away. With Right at Home and the care, effort and equipment organised by them my father is now mobile again. All the girls have been exceptional and grown a good relationship with my father. I now know he is left safe and happy. I would highly recommend them with all my heart. Very happy with care provided and no complaints at all.

Right At Home provide us with a very professional service for my elderly mother (aged 98, has dementia) with excellent carers attending several times a week for a few hours at a time. Care manager also very professional and responsive.
The team have had on occasion had to deal with difficult situations such as medical emergencies which they have had done very well.

Our family is very grateful for the support, this has helped enable my mother to stay in her own home.

My husband is disabled and I am suffering from arthritis and cannot do everything he needs. I also go away for a break and leave him alone. The service we get is exemplary. They turn up on time do an excellent job and go beyond what's needed. We are both very happy.

You have been my carers for 1 year plus and I am satisfied with the service I receive. The carers are all respectful and kind to me, and we have good chats about life. I feel happy with them. I live alone and I am a long standing client with this company, now 5 years. My care provided has always been completely professional; whilst at the same time enabling a friendship to grow within the team of carers. The management side has always bent over backwards to support any difficult times and needs, At least twice a year I require some overnight care following hospital procedures I have performed as a day patient. Right at Home has always managed to provide that extra support again with both dedication and professionalism. Right at Home give a very high rate of care for their fees and are worth every penny! I put my entire trust in the whole team from Management down to their office support and carers.

I received Care from Right at Home for almost 4 months, ending yesterday May 22nd 2026.
We started with both Morning and Evening Care.
This came about after a very serious illness, and almost 4 weeks in Hospital.
Gradually, we reduced the amount of Care, until we felt confident of managing on our own again.
The Care throughout was very good, and the timekeeping was excellent.

A large % of the Care visits were carried out by Kelly, a very competent young lady.

I would highly recommend Right at Home to anyone. They provide excellent care for my loved one who has Young Onset Dementia.
The staff are excellent, caring and understanding and well matched to our needs. Right at Home take time to understand and get to know their clients. They take a very personal individual approach and I have been delighted with the care we have received.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we are getting from RAH. The booking system is efficient and robust and we have no problem getting the visits we ask for. The carers always arrive on time. We find the carers friendly, polite and diligent. They are pleasant and likeable people.
Lesley's carers have taken interest in her and involve themselves with her interests and concerns. They have taken her out for coffee.

We are so pleased we chose RAH.

Chris was provided with care twice a day whilst we were away on holiday abroad.

Chris reports she had a good time whilst we were away and enjoyed the company of the carers. We spoke to her each day by phone and could tell she was doing great. I have dealt with lots of care agencies during my career and when caring for my own mum. I have been and continue to be extremely impressed by the services that Right at Home provide. Time keeping is excellent, everyone I have met treats my partners mum with such care compassion and dignity. It is a marvel to watch them work with mum to encourage her to do tasks that we sometimes struggle with. They support us and educate us on how to encourage mum to mobilise, eat, keep us informed of any changes in medication or concerns. I have never come across another agency that goes above and beyond to enable us to support mum at home. They are truly remarkable people who work quietly and politely in the background on family gatherings and Christmas. The team are very trustworthy, with a good work ethic demonstrating commitment and flexibility every day of the year. Thanks to everyone at Right at Home Reading and Wokingham.

my friend (the service user) is my lodger. physically disabled through autoimmune arthritis, neurodivergent, & serious mental health conditions. Waiting on spinal surgery.
In dispute with Adult social care over fees, it has been a nightmare over the last year, so 9 hours allotted funded care became only 2 hours, and my friend is left with a debt in the thousands. Those who should be supporting have made a total stressful mess of it, culminating in them dropping my friend from the care system altogether for a period.

Due to all the stress of trying to live through their constant extreme physical pain, without the proper support, my friend made a serious attempt on their life recently. Without Right at Home's consistent & genuine concern & help through this - and other disasters - I would probably have been sectioned and my lodger would certainly not be alive by now. Thank you Tessa & Veronica. You are lifesavers.
