Right at Home (Borehamwood & Watford)

They have been amazing not only with me but also in how they've integrated so naturally with my family. Having them in our home has been an absolute pleasure, and I feel very lucky to have such wonderful carers from Right at Home.

Excellent care provided for my mother, and agency responsive to queries/changing needs. Agency has now provided for my mother for well over a year. Particularly impressed with care given since my mother's recent discharge from hospital with serious illness and complex needs. Live-in care works really well with the family and her care and support of my mother is first class. Relief carers (to enable live in carer to have her daily break) also great, and some of them have built up very good rapport with my mother and have been happy to help her with things she enjoys (like cooking). They have also provided good company for her.

Right At Home have supported me almost continuously for 6 years now. The carers fulfil their job title of being very caring, they are punctual, willing and nothing is too much trouble. I moved to another care company for a short time earlier this year and quickly realised that not all care companies provide as brilliant care as Right At Home. The other care company was considerably more expensive and the carers weren't punctual or nearly as thorough as the RAH carers so 5 weeks after moving I returned to RAH. I definitely won't move again and I highly recommend RAH for anyone considering care for themselves or a loved one.

Always reliable and professional. A kind and caring nature to the staff that help to look after my mother's needs. They go out of their way to assist her with hygiene and meals etc. Administration is very efficient also keeping me up-to-date with schedules and notifications.

Since my sister has been with Right at Home Boremwood she feels that she is being looked after with care. The staff are excellent, they make her feel relaxed because she trusts that they have her well-being at the top of there list. Very professional staff, would recommend this care company, very good.

The team went over and beyond whilst I was away and my wife suffered from severe anxiety attack. They sent a lovely carer who spent quality time caring for her - taking a genuine interest - and ensuring she was taken care of physically and emotionally.

Right at Home staff have looked after my daughter, who is disabled following a brain haemorrhage, for several years. I have been consistently impressed with the care they provide. In addition to the practical care they provide much emotional support.

We are very happy with the care our daughter has received over many years from all the staff of Right at Home (Borehamwood). The carers provide excellent all-round care and have worked with her to increase her level of independence which is very important to her. For example, they help her each week to safely prepare and cook a meal that she has planned. There are many instances when they have gone beyond the call of duty. The management team has always been helpful and supportive. We made the right choice in selecting Right at Home!

Right at Home has been the care agency that has provided carers for my husband who has stage 6/7 Alzheimer’s. The carers provided have been kind and understanding of my husband's needs and have turned up on time on the allotted days. The agency staff have been most understanding if I have had to request any of the times to be changed.

I spoke to a number of potential providers and I am very pleased with my decision to use Right at Home.

We have been using Right At Home for many years and they have always been brilliant. I would not want to use any other company. The staff are well trained and really care about what they do. They really brighten up the day.

They have kept my father independent, helped him learn new skills, and to keep up old skills and activities. Dad is much happier and much of this is due to the focus on companionship care that really preserves Dad's dignity and makes it easy for him to both respond well to prompts and to ask for assistance when needed.

I've been using Right At Home since last August when it suddenly became urgent for my mum to receive home care. They were very helpful and caring from the get-go and continue to be so. Mum's needs keep changing as her dementia declines and the carers are always ready to adapt and assist in keeping her needs top priority. Many times they have gone above and beyond, it really gives me peace of mind. Mum enjoys their visits and the carers really do want to give her the best care they can.

Have cared for my mum for a few years now and she has never been happier with the carers going in and out. They meet her needs and go above and beyond for her and she looks forward to them coming in.
