My 87 year old mum suddenly was unable to walk day 2 in London visiting as a tourist from NZ. She was in severe pain and all support systems were back in NZ.
NHS and ambulance were zero assistance and we found Right at Home through AI. We call Sarah (owner ) our angel and she has navigated us through a very stressful time with access to specialists radiology and home care in a hotel - we could not have done any of this without her and getting mum safely back to NZ

Her professionalism, knowledge, empathy, humour really kept us sane. She went to the hotel within an hour to rescue my mum and daughter when I first touched base with her and sorted all things medical and beyond in the following week - thanks Sarah

I've been a client of 'Right at Home' for almost 2 years now and have been very satisfied from day 1! The Carers, as well as the people who run the Agency have been extremely good with me. I'm not an easy client and I don't envy them. I often don't know what I want. I'm not organised at all, but their patience, warmth and caring have supported me in many a 'dark' moment. I have nothing but good to say about all their Carers. Obviously, I prefer some to others but whoever comes here, I know I can depend on their expertise so that if I need or want anything, they're available with instant help. I can't ask for more than that.

I spent my life helping others and it feels weird to have to depend on people now but I am so grateful that I have them. I now pretty much have one Carer who comes regularly but even when she's not able to, and others come, I feel very much at home with them. I would recommend RAH to anyone who needed excellent caring.

Overall Experience
We needed help after I was discharged from hospital,and then a care home ,after a bad fall which resulted in broken limbs.
For the first week we had 24 hour care and then care twice a day for two weeks and are gradually reducing the hours as I become more able.

All of the carers are kind, considerate and professional. I would recommend. Right at Home.

I had a great experience with Right at Home. My carer was fantastic (I am not allowed to share names, but I hope she is acknowledged). She was knowledgeable, experienced and definitely made sure I accomplished what was needed even when I did not want to... kindly, of course! I found the communication to be by far the best I have seen from other care groups and with a unique illness and needs, they were able to tailor to me as I needed. Right at Home is a professional home care group that will advocate, support and handle so many medical communications and needs, that I would have been at a loss without them. I would highly recommend them!

Overall Experience
The care is good, wide range of expertise and had to deal with difficult patient. The provided a bespoke service and on special occasions were able to provide additional care to meet extended demands.
They rotated staff around a few favourites to ensure a fresh approach whilst keeping familiarity.
On the whole they were flexible if given sufficient notice.
They were reliable and one could have confidence that they would manage finances and care equally professionally.
They were approachable with concerns.

On the whole I'd use them again

We are so thankful that we found your care agency and we will make sure to recommend it warmly to anyone looking for top quality care in central London. We appreciated how personalised it was, how sensitive you were to our needs. You listened, you truly cared, you supported us and advised us when we were trying to navigate the NHS and Social care system, and when we were finding it hard to access palliative care services. You also helped to coordinate the different services when we couldn't figure it out. You were always available on message. Your carers are great human beings and when we didn't hit it off with a couple, you followed up the issues without making a big deal over it and made sure not to book them again for us. Overall Experience
1) We have been most happy with the experience of this firm. First, they looked after my husband who had a back operation and was unable to stand . Then - much physiothotherapy and slow but gradual improvement.
2) At first we had service 6 days a week..Then we continued with Giselle, only (August - December 2-25 ). All those selected for help were excellent, especially Giselle (who introduced many of the other candidates). From this firm, we had much help with healthcare, cooking, shopping, cleaning, gardening. Especially Giselle no-one could have done better, She was always punctual, always in good humour.

3) Our thanks too to Sarah - a very empathetic carer who was extremely helpful in her guidance on my husband's case.

I am extremely grateful for the care, professionalism, and compassion shown by Right at Home during a very challenging time. Being overseas while supporting my mother was incredibly stressful, and Right at Home stepped in exactly when I needed help the most. They initially began as a companionship service but quickly recognised that my mother's needs were more complex. They assessed her situation, identified what additional support was required, and acted immediately. They were strong advocates for my mum and ensured she received the appropriate level of care. Tanya and Sarah were exceptional. They were knowledgeable, compassionate, and consistently supportive. They took the time to understand my mother's needs and gave me complete confidence that she was being properly cared for, even while I was managing everything from overseas. Communication was excellent throughout.I would wholeheartedly recommend Right at Home.

Having met Sarah and Tanya in person, who both assessed our needs, my wife and I were expecting something exceptional from Right at Home. Our expectations were met when we were introduced to the delightful Vidaya, a trained nurse from Nepal, who provided empathetic and sensitive care at home for my wife. Vidaya's medical knowledge was most helpful when we selected a blood pressure meter for home use. We found it most reassuring to receive care from a medically qualified person. We have no reservation in recommending Right at Home to anyone seeking the very best care at home.

My mother is receiving most excellent service and care from everyone involved. Managers, Tanya and Sarah, visit and contact me regularly. Communication is incredible. All carers are lovely, but Marina is on another scale. My mother was recently ill and in hospital and I was away. Marina stayed with her through the whole process. Tanya and Sarah visited her in hospital and ensured she had the best treatment.
Marina gives my mother confidence, chats to her about current affairs, linguistics and family. She really is the carer one would wish for for a loved one.

Sarah and her team are angels. They cared for my husband during our stay in London. They were ultra professional. The care he received was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot speak highly enough about the healthcare professional and how pleased I am with her care. Her calm presence and professionalism made a huge difference to what could have become very stressful nights. She was punctual, kind, knowledgeable and reassuring without being intrusive. She was attentive throughout the night checking in regularly and handled every situation with skill and compassion We also chatted about many different things and got along very well. I would highly recommend her services.

The Manager and her team have been extremely supportive and flexible in establishing a carer in my mum's life. They understood my mum's resistance and matched ideal carers who my mum has really connected to. They have gone above and beyond responding to incidents outside of prearranged times to ensure my mum is safe and taken care of. Including accompanying my mum to the memory cafe voluntarily. It is great to have a local service that I can rely on as the main carer of my mum I can trust that Right at Home will respond if I need to. They quickly understood my mums needs and responded appropriately.

Right at Home has been very supportive and acted professionally, helping mum deal with and cope with dementia. After looking into adding night care, my sisters and I met the team and immediately felt at ease. There was an instant bond with mum, as if they had known each other for years. They were so kind and gentle with her, listening and understanding what her needs were. Everything was in place till mum had a stroke,

We ended up not going ahead, but we had the support. My family and I haven't had it easy since mum went into the hospital. The agency has made visits and continues to advise us to this day. I would highly recommend them as they don't mind going that extra mile to make their clients happy. They are considerate and continue to take calls at any time. We have this ongoing relationship to which I hope continues once mum comes home. Thank you very much.

I cannot praise this company enough. Their staff and caregivers have been amazing for the past year, and I have been using them for my elderly mum, who suffers from dementia and C.K.D. They have given both mum and me a new lease on life. I am in control of my mum's care and support, but I am also fully supported by the care and great advice of the wonderful Right at Home caregivers who will always gladly give me the benefit of their excellent expertise whenever asked. They have made life so much easier for me and my household and enabled mum to live again with the dignity (and fun) she deserves. Thank you for an excellent service.

I needed through spring cleaning of our flat and also some help of treating accumulated clutter. The team of two carers have admirable energy coupled with good organising skills , and their systematic working made the flat habitable again. Very happy with the result!

Sarah Beshir Job Title: Managing Director Joined: 2023
Sarah Beshir

Over the course of her fifteen years of nursing experience, Sarah has worked for both the public and private sectors. She was honoured with an individual excellence award from a prominent London hospital for her work as an infection prevention control nurse who specialised in supporting staff, carers, and patients during the pandemic. Before Sarah became an infection prevention control specialist, she worked in a variety of settings, including a surgical and acute medical unit, a unit that cared for the elderly, and a unit that helped people recover from strokes. As a team, Right at Home Central London works hard to ensure that individuals receive individualised, high-quality care that allows them to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in biomedical science from Westminster University in 2004. She continued her education at City University London, where she earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Adult Nursing. Currently, she is in the final year of working towards an MSC in Infection Prevention and Control.

For her efforts in 2020 to ensure the safety of my coworkers and patients during the COVID pandemic and in 2021 to ensure the smooth operation of all services over the winter, Sarah was honoured with the Magic Excellence Award. She fostered an encouraging environment for her staff and followed the government-mandated protocol for infection control measures.

Additionally, Sarah took part in research from Public Health England to determine the effects of COVID-19 and Testing, which were published in the British Medical Journal. Sarah campaigns for health promotion and preventative measures, and believes that above all, health should be placed first.

To maintain a healthy work-life balance, Sarah enjoys jogging with her kids after work and spending her weekends gardening and doing yoga.

In addition, Sarah takes great pride in my volunteer work and the impact it has on her community. Sarah has taught infection control and basic life support at the St John’s Ambulance Cadets in London, and she has helped raise money for children in Sierra Leone to ensure that they all have access to an education with Street Child. Additionally, Sarah is dedicated to raising community awareness of dementia through her work as a member of the Royal College of Nursing and as a dementia champion for Dementia UK.

Sarah has always had a longstanding love to be a part of quality care, hence she joined Right at Home Central London. Our CareGivers are checked with an enhanced DBS and can speak many languages. The Right at Home Central London team is trained to the highest capabilities to equip them with the skills to do their best at home with our clients. Our minimum visits of 1 hour set us apart from the rest of the market, meaning our CareGivers and clients are able to build a connection together and deliver care well. Tanya Coles

Tanya became a registered nurse in 1994 after working in a variety of settings, including the NHS's liver transplant services. She subsequently moved into adult social care, working as a care manager for a domiciliary care business, where she organised and monitored care and assistance for people in their own homes. Tanya then expanded the service to include care team training and NVQs. She feels that a skilled and well-trained care staff is vital for providing safe and effective care.

Tanya spent several years as a regional Quality and Development Manager for a big care home group, where she provided clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams while also collaborating with the home leadership team on improvements and service development.

Tanya got a Regional Team Member award for her committed work to improve the quality of care and quality of life for individuals living in care homes after implementing a quality framework that resulted in an outstanding rating for a Sydenham care home.

She was successful in working at the corporate level, using her enthusiasm for dementia care, to inform and develop strategies that allowed services and the individuals who work within them to provide person-centered care that acknowledged and really valued each individual's individuality.

Tanya has developed good ties with social care partners over the years and was honoured to be chosen to represent care homes in a webinar hosted by Healthwatch that examined the impact of COVID-19 on people and services. Tanya also represented the care home experience and opinion when Lambeth delivered its report to parliament on the status of care in the borough.

Tanya likes going to museums and doing anything outside of work. Tanya is an enthusiastic writer who has lately begun to learn to paint.

I am passionate about caring for the elderly, and I want to guarantee that we have a lively and prepared workforce capable of delivering care and assistance that improves people's lives, promotes their well-being, and nurtures their independence.
