Right at Home (Tyneside)

Excellent carers, I couldn't rate them highly enough. They tried their best to send the same carers as much as they could as my mum got to know them and they got to know her and what she liked, etc. we have used a couple or care companies in the past, but the level of service was no where near as good as Right at home. Lovely company to work with.

All carers go above and beyond to help me to stay independent really happy with the care provider always trys to keep my wishes and really do their best to keep me safe and understand my needs nothing is too much trouble

The individual carers have been exceptionally kind and helpful to my parents.

I am a carer for my disabled sister and also my father. I have used many care companies over the years and have never been satisfied with the care they gave, the training to their staff until I came across the manager at this company. What a wonderful company they are. Best decision in 26 years of caring for my sister I have made. The office staff are amazing , the manager and owner are amazing. Since moving to this company they have gone out of their way to provide the right carers for my sister who is disabled as well as my father who is end of life. They always keep me informed, always answer an email or always answer a call. Not like any previous care company who just send in anybody to do care. They make sure the carers are fully trained, kept up to date with training and pick the carers specifically to meet the full needs of the service user. If anyone who reads this review wants to contact me if they want to change care providers please feel free to do so. They are amazing

The Right at Home team cared for my mother-in-law (and her husband) over these last few months. Each carer brought empathy, good humour, positivity and personality into their home. Right at Home's Manager, is hands on, the company is independent and local. Throughout someone senior has been readily available. The service provided has been responsive, flexible to changing needs and hospital admissions. We feel most fortunate to have found this care provider and would confidently recommend.

And it's not just a job and having brilliant care staff in the company.

This care company provided outstanding care for my husband at such short notice when other care companies let us down. The carers were very attentive and genuinely caring, would totally recommend this care company.

Prior to engaging Right at Home, both management and the care team invested time to understand the differing needs of both my parents. It wasn't simply a process of establishing the hours per day required, but more about how daily home care would best be provided from a human relationship perspective as well as being respectfully delivered. The dedicated care team are very friendly and professional and both my parents feel very well looked after and are totally comfortable with the close-knit team of 3 members of staff in particular that were specifically selected by the senior care manager who has continued to "check in" with me as the only child to ensure that as a family we are happy how the service is being provided. I would highly recommend the services of Right at Home as they inherently understand how vitally important it is to deliver home care services in both a compassionate and respectful manner when individual family members are potentially at their most vulnerable.

Always smiling and cheery and made me feel I could face the day as except for close family and two lifelong friends I am alone all day.

Right at Home carers and management are professional, very caring and considerate when attending to my mum for personal and daily duties, keeping her company and giving Mum medication and inhalers.

All the carers have been very helpful and pleasant. We are very happy with the service.

I would recommend this care worker to other people. she's so friendly and not afraid to do anything you ask. I know when she goes everything is in good order and we know we can trust her.

The standard of care from the company is outstanding, three members of staff made an impact on Mam's daily care. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making Mam feel part of your lives. Making her smile and always willing to do anything asked of them, also any queries or problems office staff very helpful. Once again thank you and I highly recommend this company.

Great care company, highly recommend them. My grandad looks forward to his carers arriving, they always cheer him up when he is having a bad day since my grandma passed away. He has the best team that know what his needs are and we as a family never have any concerns.

Any problems they have or if she is running low on basics they leave me a note, nothing is ever a problem! Lovely girls I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.

RAH decided to withdraw their services giving only 3 days' notice to us (apparently agency staff costing too much) which left us in a desperate situation. We asked the carer if they wanted to stay on for continuity purposes, but this was declined.
