This team are outstanding!
Ranging from urgent care needs a few months ago to regular daily support, they are skilled, caring, efficient and authentic.
This was our first time needing this type of support and they have been so flexible and reliable as the situation changed frequently.
The portal
information is detailed and provides much reassurance for those not local.
The Managing Director and Manager were amazing helping me personally navigate a challenging situation.

My mum has dementia and fell again and went into hospital in January, due to her paranoia social services were not happy for her to return home so she has now gone into a care home but before she went in the team from Bromsgrove were brilliant. Their patience with her was calm and it gave us a little
bit of breathing space as her character had changed rather dramatically, though mum forgot rather quickly that the carers had been on a daily basis, we knew she had been attended to and was safe. I have texted often about things to do with mum and it has been sorted asap.
My mum was very much against having carers but was soon happy with them attending to her, she had her favourites and in her muddled mind believed they were relatives.
There is not enough space here to mention all that they did for her and us as a family.I cant thank them enough.
I have no qualms in recommending the carers from Bromsgrove.

So many of us had got to know your mom and she was such a character. While we understand the need for full time care we were really sorry to see her move to the care home as we all enjoyed supporting her and hearing her stories and making sure she was safe and well. My mother began her care journey with Right at Home over 12 months ago, initially for companionship after my father passed away. The staff were always friendly and caring, going over and above their remit. Eventually, and unfortunately fairly quickly, mom's health began to deteriorate and Right at Home
were always supportive and accommodating, particularly when the remit for mom's care was increased and needed to be moved to more specialist requirements. I would definitely recommend this home care provider and we would still be using them now but for mom having to go into a full time care home.

Great agency, jumped in just when we needed help with elderly parents.
All the staff sent have been aware of our situation with Dad's dementia and the need to keep a calm influence while looking after his needs. As we move forward with Mom returning from hospital, we still need their help, but in different
ways and two members of staff in particular were there to make this happen. Also big thanks to a particular carer, she has the patience of a saint!

The team at Right at Home Bromsgrove has been fantastic for my Mum, she has dementia and is unable to go out on her own, now with Right at Home she is taken out, and has a lovely time shopping or going out to places like the garden centre. It really is a lifesaver for us, her daughters. They also help
with meal planning and putting away and organising her food shop.
I strongly recommend the team Right at Home for honest, compassionate care. As Mum's needs increase we will be using more of their services.

They managed to set up Dad's care package very quickly after his hospital stay. The staff have been excellent in keeping me informed of Dad's wellbeing and as in his words, 'When things have gone awry', they have responded brilliantly and made sure that the correct assistance is called and stayed with
him until they arrive. The company management have been very helpful and adaptive to Dad's needs.

Excellent care for my step-mother-in-law nothing is too much trouble. The team go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable. It’s great that the team arrive at the times requested.

The care received for my mom has been exceptional. The carers have become part of the family and it is so reassuring to know that they are kind and compassionate as well as highly efficient. We have a great deal of trust in them which has helped so much with my mom's demanding needs. This also gives
my dad some much-needed support to cope with caring for my mom at home.
I recommend them unreservedly and we are incredibly lucky to have found them.

From the beginning, the service has been excellent in every way. It is client-focused and is based on planned needs as well as specific issues if time permits on the day. Visiting staff are very skilled and sensitive with attention to me as an individual and my wife. It is evident that staff are valued

I first contacted Right at Home when I was concerned about how my Dad was looking after himself last summer. I live about 2 hours from him with a young toddler and felt very lost with what to do. When I first spoke to the manager I had no idea what kind of care my Dad needed but he listened to all my
concerns and offered considered suggestions to get started and I instantly knew I'd made the right decision.
It was the staff who first flagged to me how severe the situation had become. Their professional experience and awareness was well beyond what a family member or friend could offer. The carer has been looking after him 3x a week since, and Right at Home have been central to the journey we've been on getting my Dad the help he needs. The carer has dealt with the difficult situations that have come up fantastically, and always goes above and beyond to support my Dad - and me. I would trust the carer with absolutely anything and would recommend this service to anyone.

A new connection with Right at Home to provide Mum with a little help! A very helpful, friendly, kind carer comes twice a week to help Mum in and out of the shower, make bed, get breakfast, put washing in, have a chat. So far we are very pleased - long may it last.

Our Managing Director and business owner, Mark Appleton, is new to the Right at the Home network but has gained a lot of experience supporting the elderly over the years through other parts of his working life.


“I am passionate about being a quality service provider as well as an employer of choice”, Mark explains. “Every measure of how the business runs is based on ’is this the level of care my Dad would have wanted or ’is the way I would want to be treated as an employee and I am sure that this is how we are seen. I am determined that our team will provide the best care across Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich and the surrounding areas. To achieve that, we are recruiting and retaining the very best CareGivers. We have a rigorous recruitment programme, great induction and training and provide a professional but fun support to all our staff. This will cascade down to the care that our CareGivers provide.

Wendy has an enormous amount of experience working in care. Like many people, she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do when she left school. She had cared for her Mum for a few years until her dad took over as the primary carer, and she was at a loss as to what she wanted to do. She applied for jobs and was offered an interview at a local hospital. She went for the interview and has never looked back.


That initial taste of working in health and social care has led to a long career in the sector, working in various care settings, from secure units to homecare services, and she has never lost my love for it.


She is passionate about supporting people with dignity and respect, striving always to listen and improve Clients’ well-being by respecting their wishes and being committed to supporting our CareGivers so that they can, in turn, deliver the highest quality care.
