Right at Home (Bromsgrove)

Our Managing Director and business owner, Mark Appleton, is new to the Right at the Home network but has gained a lot of experience supporting the elderly over the years through other parts of his working life.

Wendy has an enormous amount of experience working in care. Like many people, she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do when she left school. She had cared for her Mum for a few years until her dad took over as the primary carer, and she was at a loss as to what she wanted to do. She applied for jobs and was offered an interview at a local hospital. She went for the interview and has never looked back.

That initial taste of working in health and social care has led to a long career in the sector, working in various care settings, from secure units to homecare services, and she has never lost my love for it.

She is passionate about supporting people with dignity and respect, striving always to listen and improve Clients’ well-being by respecting their wishes and being committed to supporting our CareGivers so that they can, in turn, deliver the highest quality care. Read less
