I felt that within the 3 months of using the company they had really got to know Mum and understand her needs. They offer a flexible approach to be able to to adapt their service to better suit Mums needs. The staff have a sunny disposition with a will do and can do attitude.

We are truly grateful for your kind words and for the trust you placed in us to support your Mum. It means so much to hear that within just three months you felt we had really taken the time to understand her needs and preferences. Building meaningful relationships and delivering truly person centred care is at the heart of everything we do.
We are especially pleased that you recognised the flexibility of our approach. Care needs can change, and being able to adapt quickly and thoughtfully is so important in ensuring your Mum continues to feel safe, comfortable and well supported at home.
Your comments about our team's sunny disposition and "will do, can do" attitude will mean the world to them. We are incredibly proud of our Care Assistants and management team, and of the way they treat every client with dignity, respect and genuine warmth.

Following a needs assessment meeting on 21st Jan we agreed a limited care package with Right at Home starting on 23rd January. But on 22nd January we had a problem with my father which we could not manage alone. I called Right at Home to ask for advice and amazingly they offered to send two people immediately
one of which was the manager. They resolved the situation and gave me a chance to leave the house and recover. It was incredible support. I am so grateful.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.
Although your care package was due to begin on 23rd January, when you contacted us on 22nd January in need of urgent support, our priority was to ensure you and your father were not facing the situation alone. We believe that responsive, compassionate care should extend beyond scheduled visits, particularly at moments of unexpected difficulty.
We are pleased that our manager and team were able to attend promptly, stabilise the situation and provide you with the reassurance and breathing space you needed. Knowing that we were able to support you at such a critical time means a great deal to us.
Thank you for your trust in Right at Home Salisbury & Andover. We remain committed to delivering the same level of support and reliability as we continue working with you and your father.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.500) out of 10 for Right at Home Salisbury & Andover is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.5 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Right at Home Salisbury & Andover is calculated as follows: ( (11 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 11 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Right at Home Salisbury & Andover is based on 2 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Hello, I’m Michelle, and I’m proud to lead Right at Home Salisbury & Andover. My journey to the care sector has been shaped by a lifelong passion for people — understanding their needs, supporting their independence, and helping them feel truly valued.

Originally from South Africa, I spent many years working in both healthcare and insurance before moving to Salisbury with my family. I later ran my own photography studio, which taught me the importance of listening, empathy, and connection — values that are at the heart of how we deliver care today.

I believe that great care is about so much more than daily support. It’s about trust, dignity, and ensuring each person feels comfortable, safe, and respected in their own home. Every Client we support is treated as an individual, and I’m deeply proud of the relationships our team builds with families across Salisbury, Andover, and the surrounding villages.

My role involves ensuring that every aspect of our service — from the first phone call to each visit — meets the highest standards of compassion and professionalism. I also love being part of the local community, working closely with other organisations to make a difference in people’s lives.

If you’re looking for care for yourself or a loved one and want a team that truly listens and cares, please do get in touch — we’re here to help in any way we can.

With a PhD in Biological Sciences and Medicine, I bring a strong understanding of health, wellbeing, and how the brain works — knowledge that helps shape the compassionate, person-centred care we provide every day.

My background in neuropharmacology has given me a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by those living with conditions such as dementia and other neurological disorders. I use that insight to ensure our Clients always receive care that supports both their physical and emotional well-being.

Working alongside my parents, Michelle and Martin, I help lead a values-driven business built on kindness, respect, and quality. My focus is on community engagement, building trusted partnerships, and supporting our incredible team through ongoing training and development — so every Client feels safe, supported, and understood.

At Right at Home Salisbury & Andover, we’re proud to make a positive difference in our community, helping people live independently and with dignity in their own homes. If you’d like to learn more about how we can support you or a loved one, I’d love to hear from you.
