Everyone at Right at Home was wonderful. My mother was terminally ill and very much wanted to be at home. Thanks to Right at Home, that was not only possible, it was also comfortable and calm. The carers, from the most junior through to management, were reassuringly competent. Everyone was warm and
friendly, but also attentive, quietly shifting to calmness and discretion when the mood or moment required. The twice daily visits became a social occasion for Mom - she would visibly brighten up at the change of companions. While remaining discreet and completely respectful of our space, the carers were also there for my Dad and me, offering advice or discussing matters we needed their insight on. We too appreciated their visits.
Administrative issues and logistics were all dealt with efficiently, which in itself relieved some of the load on us.
Right at Home made an extremely difficult time much easier, in terms of hands-on care of course, but also by bringing moments of joy and warmth.

Thank you very much for your review. It was clear from the beginning your Mum had made an incredible impact on our CareGivers, consistently offering advice and words of wisdom through her vast life experience. It was always a joy to attend and I'll be sure to pass on your review to our team!

I cannot speak too highly of the care provided for my wife by Right at Home. She had been bedridden for six months so careful and respectful care was essential. The management team were closely involved and took a real hands-on approach to ensure my wife's needs were met. During this time my wife actually
enjoyed the company of her carers on their morning and evening visits, in fact they became friends as much as carers, chatting about families or TV programmes or whatever came to mind. In her final days, her carers showed a particular sensitivity which was lovely to see as it did indeed show true care by people who cared. needs were met

My mother with her dementia and mobility issues was in a bad way following a hospital stay. The care provided by social services was not good enough nor flexible enough to support her and my father. We switched to Direct Payments and engaged with Right At Home to support my mother back in June 2023.
They have been absolutely fantastic, so helpful, caring, and flexible. The management can't do enough to help. I would highly recommend them.

Thank you for your review, it's fair to say all of our team who care for your Mother absolutely adore her! We all enjoy our visits out to her and it is an absolute pleasure to have been given the opportunity to have helped you, your family but especially both Mum and Dad. I will be sure to pass this review on to the rest of the team!

Being disabled and long retired I needed someone to provide care and companionship so I searched for an appropriate care company. When I found Right At Home, Solihull I was fairly sure I'd found what I needed and after a month of their care, I couldn't ask for more. They have the highest standards and
are excellent at caring with good company too.

Overview of Review Score

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.958 for Right at Home Solihull is calculated as follows: ( (23 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 4.958
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Right at Home Solihull is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 = 4.25
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Hi, I'm Anish and I am the Managing Director and Owner of Right at Home Solihull. I decided to go into care because I realised there was a gap in the market for a premium, person-centred homecare business through experience with finding care for my Grandmother after COVID-19.

Our aim isn't to just maintain our clients' lives, but to improve them and that is my focus.

My background comes from retail where I began a convenience store & a main Post Office in Sutton Coldfield. After the first year, we became more recognised and won multiple awards for the store and individual awards such as; 30 under 30 for 3 years in a row from 2021-2023.

I'm very family-orientated and love being in a position to help other people and there seemed like no better fit than starting my very own homecare business with one key goal; supporting vulnerable adults within our community. I'm really looking forward to making a difference as well as high-quality care.

In my spare time, I like to watch Formula 1 and Football. I enjoy playing badminton, travelling and going on walks in our local area.
