Right at Home (Sefton)

My brother David has been in hospital, I'm very grateful for the concern they have shown, even in contact with the hospital ward, to make sure that on his discharge, his care was put in place straight away. From the office staff to hands-on carers, thank you for the excellent service you give.

Right at home (Sefton) have been providing our mum with excellent care, this has only been since January this year. But I would like to take this opportunity to thank them so much. My mum get's four visits a day to assist with her personal hygiene, assistance with dressing/undressing, meal's & medication. Every single carer that has been is so lovely and extremally caring. Me and my sister work full time and were struggling. I feel so grateful for all the help that mum has been given. Mum loves to engage with the carer's as she loves a good chat. I would highly recommend Right at home (Sefton) to anybody, the staff at the office are always happy to help and accommodate us.

My decision to ask the company for help following my accident in May was made as a result of the help given by them to my Mum nearly four years ago. The carers who came to help Mum and who have helped me are professional caring people who do their work efficiently and with great care and consideration. I have valued the time they have spent with me and will be sorry when I have to call a halt to their services as I believe they have been a contributory factor in my speedy recovery after my accident. I feel they are now friends and it will be hard not seeing them each day. Thank you to all.

Communication is excellent with the office who will call me if they have any concerns; I live a distance away and it is very reassuring to know that their carers are so conscientious and reliable.

Mum is happy with the daily care provided to her. The carers respond to her needs and treat her with respect. The management are always very helpful and respond quickly to any changes. I would like more information about the daily visits (electronically) since the written records have stopped. Thank you

Right at Home looked after my 92 year old father in his home until he passed away in hospital in December. I was very impressed by the service we had. When the manager came to visit us to discuss Dad's needs she made a real effort to get to know him and asked about his life and interests so the carers would have something to talk about. A detailed report is left after every visit which I found very reassuring and helpful and the manager phoned immediately if there were any concerns. My Dad loved seeing the ladies and their kind care meant he could stay in his own home until the end which is what he wanted. I would recommend them to anyone

Right at Home Sefton provided the best care we could possibly wish for. My elderly mum had dementia which became more pronounced over time. All the carers were extremely patient with my Mum and became like family members. They provided company and a little chat as well as the much-needed personal care. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

It's always a big decision to make, trusting what starts out as strangers into your home to look after a loved one. However, I needn't have worried. The staff are amazing - so dedicated, caring, and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this company enough - and although Dad unfortunately has to go into 24-hour care should I ever need their assistance for another loved one (or me) there is no other company I would use.

All of the carers who looked after Dad were very kind to him, 3 in particular. He was always given a shave, changed regularly and the staff went beyond their duty to make sure he was comfortable.

My mum needed help to remember to take her tablets and to have her meals prepared. I live hours away and was anxious about how it would all work. It so happened that I was there when the carers came on a number of occasions. The 'ladies' as we called them were lovely. They were professional and took care to see what Mum needed. They were chatty and kind. Mum settled well into the rhythm and routine. The care manager I dealt with was very positive and made the process very simple. It was a relief to know that Mum was being looked after and that I could rely on her needs being met. I would recommend Right at Home to anyone who needs the security of knowing that their loved one will be well looked after. Thank you Right at Home.

Right at Home Sefton were great when I asked for help for my Mum, regarding mealtimes. The service was very easy to set up after visits to assess Mum's needs. The carers were always kind, professional and friendly. Visits took place on time and it was easy to communicate with the support team at the office if needed. Thank you again.

Thank you to all of your carers who looked after Mum so well. I very much appreciate all the efforts the carers went to on a daily basis to make Mum feel supported, listened to and well looked after. They all took the time to get to know Mum and make her feel as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very patient and gave her the time she needed to help her. Mum enjoyed chatting to them and getting to know them all too. I hope this review gives another family confidence in using this service.

First time ever experience of care at home. The whole team was so fantastic with my dad and our family. Communication was perfect. Even though the care was provided for a short amount of time, I felt the staff got to know my dad (and family) really well. I would not hesitate to recommend Right at Home.

Very friendly team provided rehab care for my mum arranged through the hospital. Staff arrived when they said, provided friendly and quality care for my mum. Kept us informed of what was happening.
