We have been using Right at Home for the last few years for my mum who is suffering with dementia. I have to say that the whole team have been fantastic and I really don't know how we would cope without them. They look after my mum so well and are always ready to go the extra mile to help out. and Kevin are always on hand to give expert advice and the ladies who visit mum are without exception total stars. I can thoroughly recommend the team to anyone who is looking for a first class service.

I can not praise the reading and Wokingham district team enough. My mother has daily visits from various members of the team and has done for the last year. She really enjoys their company and looks forward to seeing them daily. The team have been a huge help since my father died in supporting my mother
with companionship and work around the house. I couldn't recommend them enough.

We've been using Right at Home for about 5 years and the quality of service has been exceptional throughout.
The carers that visit do a fantastic job looking after Mum which is not always easy, but they are 100% professional and carry out their tasks with incredible good humour.
We have visits three
times a day, but nothing is too much trouble, and in the event of Mum having a fall or similar, extra resources are brought in instantly no matter what time of day so that Mum can be looked after and not left in the hands of paramedics etc, which would be confusing for her.
I never thought anyone would show as much care and dedication as RAH do. I live abroad so it is a great comfort that whatever happens Mum has someone there that I can fully trust
I also have to mention how clean and tidy the House is, which did worry me that, it would start to be neglected, but they are doing a fantastic job keeping it in good condition.

The RaH Team are really quite exceptional! They have been providing regular care visits to my (increasingly frail) 95 year-old Dad - and also to my Mum, who has Dementia - for several years now (up to three times daily), and the reliability, adaptability, empathy and kindness of both the Carers themselves,
and the Management Team, are pretty much faultless.


Would recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for high-quality Home Care for their nearest and dearest.

RAH have been looking after my mother one a week for a few hours. I can strongly recommend this care team are amazing.
From the initial telephone inquiry to the assessment visit and at every point of contact they have been professional and friendly. The staff work so well together and always put their
clients first. The type of questions asked about what my mother needed showed exactly how good they are at understanding and communicating with clients and their families.
My mother has been using them for several months now and we are very happy with the care she is receiving.

We have been using the care assistants from Right at Home for a few years now to help with my mother who has mild dementia. They visit several times a week to prepare meals for her, help keep the house tidy, assist in administering medications & provide friendship. They sometimes even taking her out
for trips to local coffee shops.
We find them to be thoroughly reliable & professional, it is such a relief for us to know we can trust them with mum & she tells us she enjoys having them visit. They are good to deal with, being easily contactable & try their best to adapt to our requirements regarding days & timings for care.
I thoroughly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting in care for a friend or relative.

Excellent! RaH have been supporting my mother for 6 years now, and have cheerfully handled her changing needs in that time. In the early days they provided companionship and mental stimulation as well as regular meals and household management. The emphasis now is more on support with the tasks of daily
living, but the carers still find time to help with jigsaws, play games and read aloud.
We get regular reports of what is going on via the app, and if any maintenance issues crop up there is always an email or phone call to discuss what to do. Turnover in the care team is slow, so the whole family gets to know them and new people are always introduced by one of the existing team so that continuity is maintained.
This is how care should be done.

We have been using the services of the manager and the team from Right at Home since January this year for assistance in looking after my elderly father and cannot fault the ongoing service provided. They have been more than accommodating to us as my Father's needs change and have his best interests
at heart. They offer a professional approach making us feel as a family he is in safe hands. I feel that we have the much-needed assistance in place and great support available to us whenever we need it.
My father enjoys their visits every day, and the regular company has meant so much to him as he deals with his medical condition giving him the mental uplift he so often needs.
To conclude I would not hesitate to recommend their services and have no negatives to the service they provide, they have exceeded our expectations.

Acting in the capacity of Attorney for an elderly lady with dementia and mobility issues, I have used the services of Right at Home since May 2018.
Without them, we would not be able to provide the care required to keep the lady in her own home. They have repeatedly gone above and beyond normal duties,
they have liaised with doctors and other live-in care givers, they have kept me informed of any potential problems and always helped to provide the answers to those problems. You can without doubt put your trust in Right at Home.

Absolutely outstanding. Mum has now been under the care of Right at Home for about five years and I continue to be impressed by their attention to detail and vigilance with Mum, who has severe Alzheimers. The team are cheerful, sympathetic, thoughtful and utterly reliable. They clearly enjoy their visits
to Mum and find ways to entertain her appropriately. The team that visits Mum is small and consistent, which helps Mum get to know and trust them. They routinely go way beyond what I would have expected and help in any way they can in what can be challenging situations. Recently they have been working closely with Mum's doctors and are really good at keeping on top of her complex medications. It has given me peace of mind to know that they will always alert me immediately if there are any problems with Mum's health.
I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough for what they do.

The Right at Home carers are diamonds. They supported mum for just over a year after she broke her wrist, but sadly since then she has succumbed to dementia and now resides in a care home. Over the time that Right at Home supported mum, they were nothing but kind, considerate, friendly and respectful
to both mum, my sister and I.


We couldn't have managed without them and the fantastic support and advice we received from the management team. They kept in regular contact with us and nothing was too much trouble to ensure that mum received the best care possible.


I would not hesitate in recommending Right at Home to you if you are looking for support of a loved one.

Right at Home looked after Mum for year. The care started when she broke her wrist and needed assistance. During the year her cognition and general mobility declined, which meant more visits. Right at Home were able to accommodate the changes and the communication was always friendly, timely and professional.
My sister and I were very happy with the care Mum received and felt confident that the carers would be friendly and reassuring to her. We would definitely recommend their services.

My experience of Right at Home has been excellent. I live alone, am 80 and a Type 1 Diabetic and was in hospital following a fall which meant I needed assistance in the morning and evening in order to return home. How much more I was given. Friendship, not only to myself but my elderly dog. Also
encouragement not to mention liaison with medical staff and ensuring I had everything I needed to promote a speedy recovery.

From the first telephone call, when a friendly voice answered, the care and consideration given to my mother has been outstanding. Without the support of the whole team, from the managing director to the care staff, I don't think we would have got through the past 3-4 months.
The management team assisted
us (the family) through all the steps of getting Mum out of hospital and back home. The managers assessed Mum's needs, advised on the equipment and care support required, and then made it happen. This was invaluable. The care/support team were brilliant. So kind, considerate and respectful to Mum and that made a great difference to her, as she was feeling very nervous about having to be cared for. The care/support staff were always cheerful and it was like nothing was too much for them. As Mum's needs changed, the team adjusted which meant Mum could stay at home longer.
All the staff went above and beyond what we had expected. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Following the exceptional care given to my late husband, I had always said I would use their services again for myself if ever the need should occur.
So following an operation this September, I used their services for 2 months to help whilst I was recovering, I am pleased to report that the standard
services provided had not changed and I would highly recommend them and use them again, without hesitation.
Whatever capacity they are utilised, the standard of care is always 100% and carried out with a smile with no job too much trouble. Was glad to see that some of the original team that I knew back in 2018 and prior to are still with the company.

The managing director and the team of carers have been looking after my mum, who has dementia, for the past four years, and without their care and support would have had to move into a home. I could not wish to have found a better team. Why would I stay with a team of carers for over four years if they
were not absolutely dedicated, professional, sympathetic and caring. I get daily updates of all visits via an app and regularly read “I was greeted with a big smile and hug from” “whilst preparing lunch we had a bit of a singsong”, “ on the walk she enjoyed seeing” the carers really do seem to have a gift for getting my mum to enjoy the moment. During a recent heatwave, they even popped round after the normal caring hours just to check Mum was ok, totally unprompted; I guess that’s carers caring. I would not hesitate to recommend them, always contactable, easy to talk to, very experienced and totally professional. 10/10.

Right at Home (Reading & Wokingham District) have been supporting my mother-in-law for the past four years and have been doing a fantastic job. As her condition has progressed they have responded through regular reviews so that they could better support her as her needs changed. The carers and management
work as one unit, feeding back information that we can read after every visit and celebrating the good days and keeping us informed whenever there are difficulties so that we feel we are part of the team. They are very proactive in making recommendations that will support her daily living and are always empathetic and caring. During Covid, we relied on them totally to support her needs and put in extra support when she contracted the illness and nursed her through that difficult time. We applaud the dedication and hard work of all the carers and we could not maintain her independence without them. Thank you Right at Home!

We have a fabulous team of CareGivers who are dedicated to ensuring that our clients can live safely and happily in their own homes, with the dignity and respect that they deserve.   We offer a premium service through a combination of recruiting, rewarding and retaining great staff, providing comprehensive training, and being sure to match our CareGivers to client interests and personalities.


Your CareGivers will be personally introduced to you, and given plenty of time to travel to your home.   We carefully schedule, to ensure that every care call is a minimum of one hour, so that we can maximise the value of the visit with the aim of improving, not just maintaining, your quality of life.  You, your family and your friends can relax knowing that you are in safe hands.


From our base in Twyford we provide support across our region, including Wokingham, Finchampstead, Aborfield, Shinfield, Woodley, Earley, Sonning, Charvil, Twyford,  Ruscombe, Hurst, Shurlock Row and Waltham St Lawrence.

Leisa Bell

Job Title: Registered Care Manager Joined: 2018

Leisa has been working in care for more than 26 years and joined Right at Home soon after we opened our Twyford office, in early 2018, first as an outstanding CareGiver, then as our Quality Manager, and now as our highly respected Registered Care Manager.


Leisa has a level 5 QCF in Health and Social Care and is a specialist in working with clients living with Dementia. As a Dementia Champion, Leisa is also able to deliver Dementia Friends training on behalf of the Alzheimers Society, helping people in our community better understand how to support those living with dementia. Leisa is a member of the Right at Home UK Registered Managers Advisory Council, a small group of experienced RMs from across the country who work closely with the National Office Quality and Compliance experts to help develop best practices across the Right at Home network of offices.


In addition, Leisa leads the training for our CareGivers, including being a qualified trainer for Medication Administration and Basic Life Support Level 2 certification.


Leisa provides support and mentorship to our lovely CareGivers, helping us maintain the highest standards of care for all our clients, and that best practice is shared across the entire team.


As Registered Care Manager, Leisa has overall responsibility for our Care Team and ensuring that we meet and exceed the standards & regulations that the CQC mandate, and encourage our team of CareGivers to go the extra mile in support of our clients.


Like everyone at Right at Home, Leisa shares a passion for delivering the highest quality home care in the area and works tirelessly to do her bit in making sure we achieve that goal.
