I cannot recommend these ladies too highly. They are caring, funny, helpful,
efficient and I shall miss them greatly when they no longer visit. They have helped me through a difficult time and helped me gain back confidence.

We have been using Right at Home for over a year, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
After months of trying to cope on his own after being in the hospital, we decided to a trial with home carers, and I have to say, it is the best decision we could have made.
The carers are genuine, caring,
compassionate and friendly people, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them whether it’s cooking, cleaning or even shopping.
They have provided a lifeline to my uncle, and he has thrived under their care, and he classes every one as a friend and not his carers.
I am so grateful to every member of the team both office staff and carers for making it so much easier for my uncle to continue living at home with such brilliant support.

I have been using Right at Home since October 2018, initially for my father, but now for my uncle too. I feel like I struck gold when I chose to use their services!
The carers are a cut above the rest and combined with meticulous management and efficient organisation, it makes a very successful company.
I have every confidence that people turn up when they should. Over time, our needs have changed, and Right at Home has been there to give advice and offer support.
I can access care notes and visit reports via a very easy to use app on my phone. It’s a great way to keep up to date with daily events when you can’t physically be there.
The whole team are caring and genuine. They are well informed and go above and beyond to offer support. Their expertise is invaluable, and I trust them to notice if things aren’t quite right. In my book, communication is key, and this is constantly forthcoming. At this challenging phase, I simply couldn’t function without them!

My friend's caregivers are very kind and patient they are also very competent people who really care for there clients. Right at Home has been looking after my friend for the last eighteen months, keeping his home clean and cooking for him they will always go the extra mile. I would recommend this company
because they are a great team of people who look after my friend very well and I send my thanks and appreciation you all.

My father has used Right at Home for his care needs for a year and a half now and I cannot recommend Right at Home highly enough. The staff are very dedicated and my father feels entirely comfortable with his care. The manager is always on hand to help with any queries or concerns and goes over and
above to help out. Right at Home has adapted well to Covid-19, using PPE on visits, washing hands etc, and I feel confident in my father's safety. I receive daily updates via a secure app so I know exactly how my father is getting on day by day, which is very comforting. Thank you to the manager and team for doing such a fantastic job!

We have been using this team to look after my mother since Autumn 2018.
The alternatives of putting a 93-year-old lady into a care home were there - but to consign a stubborn lady to a place outside her own comfort zone was not an attractive option and still wouldn’t be today.
Given the choice of
home care, this has worked incredibly well - all the staff are excellent carers, and they visit on a well-structured programme. This is even reported back with an APP, so communication and feedback around her care is top-notch.
The carers have a lot of patience and compassion dealing with our mother and is typical of the strong-willed older ladies in their 80's and 90's. Although she is demanding and doesn't take instructions easily or hear well “ I’m not wearing that hearing aid it makes me look old”, they deal with her brilliantly. Making her adapt to her health and educating her on using walking aids as well as making her eat more healthily, getting her shopping and medicines when needed - much appreciated.

We have never needed to rely on support care before but after Mum's fall, we required some short term help until she got back on her feet.
The care that my mum received was first class, in particular, we were struck by the genuine warmth and kindness that your support team showed. Nothing was too
much trouble, they were always on time and always arrived with a super positive attitude and a smile on their faces.
It was also very easy to make the initial arrangements with you, listening carefully to what support was required and matching this with the appropriate support package couldn't have been easier or quicker, everything was explained clearly and there was complete transparency.
You surpassed our expectations as a company and we could not have been happier with the care you offered. Thank you so much for supporting the whole family during this time.

Now in my 90th year, I have not had to use the services of a care company until about 6 months ago, but find that now I couldn't function without the daily use (daily exercise) of one. The staff, hand picked, arrive on time each day (weekends included) and form now a very pleasant start to each day.
Their quiet confident matter of expertise is impressive and they exude a professionalism with what they do and say. As I enter a new decade I look forward to needing more of their skills.

Obviously when care begins you are always worried that the care doesn't match the advertising/hearsay. But within the first 24 hours, this was an agency that not only matched the advertising but goes over and above the call of duty. You can set your clock by the arrival of the carer. Each carer brings
their own brand of thoughfulness, care and love. To us they have now become part of our family. Without any hesitation I would recommend this company to anyone who has the need of a steadfast and reliable care worker. They give you the confidence to know that your loved one is in the safest possible hands.

I've been using Right at Home, for several months to care for my elderly mother with Parkinson's disease.
I interviewed several care providers before choosing Right at Home and I would highly recommend their service.
The staff are very knowledgeable and have implemented several specific tools to help
manage my mum's care, they have also proved to be flexible, considerate and very thorough in their approach. The Registered Manager is very experienced and took great care to select the right carers and introduced them gently to my mother. I am very happy with the women deployed, the level of care and understanding they offer my Mum. They have quickly understood the complex drugs and challenges my mum faces and now help her 12 hours per week. The Managing Director has also been interested and attentive, proving they are not just a faceless organisation focused solely on profit, it offers me great peace of mind knowing Right at Home are there for support.

From our office in the lovely Berkshire village of Twyford, Right at Home Reading & Wokingham District has a simple objective:   to deliver the best possible, high quality care & support for our clients, in order to make a real difference every day to their lives.


We have a fabulous team of CareGivers who are dedicated to ensuring that our clients can live safely and happily in their own homes, with the dignity and respect that they deserve.   We offer a premium service through a combination of recruiting, rewarding and retaining great staff, providing comprehensive training, and being sure to match our CareGivers to client interests and personalities.


Your CareGivers will be personally introduced to you, and given plenty of time to travel to your home.   We carefully schedule, to ensure that every care call is a minimum of one hour, so that we can maximise the value of the visit with the aim of improving, not just maintaining, your quality of life.  You, your family and your friends can relax knowing that you are in safe hands.

Leisa has been working in care for more than 26 years and joined Right at Home soon after we opened our Twyford office, in early 2018, first as an outstanding CareGiver, then as our Quality Manager, and now as our highly respected Registered Care Manager.


Leisa has a level 5 QCF in Health and Social Care and is a specialist in working with clients living with Dementia. As a Dementia Champion, Leisa is also able to deliver Dementia Friends training on behalf of the Alzheimers Society, helping people in our community better understand how to support those living with dementia. Leisa is a member of the Right at Home UK Registered Managers Advisory Council, a small group of experienced RMs from across the country who work closely with the National Office Quality and Compliance experts to help develop best practices across the Right at Home network of offices.


In addition, Leisa leads the training for our CareGivers, including being a qualified trainer for Medication Administration and Basic Life Support Level 2 certification.


Leisa provides support and mentorship to our lovely CareGivers, helping us maintain the highest standards of care for all our clients, and that best practice is shared across the entire team.


As Registered Care Manager, Leisa has overall responsibility for our Care Team and ensuring that we meet and exceed the standards & regulations that the CQC mandate, and encourage our team of CareGivers to go the extra mile in support of our clients.


Like everyone at Right at Home, Leisa shares a passion for delivering the highest quality home care in the area and works tirelessly to do her bit in making sure we achieve that goal.

Ruth joined the team in 2022 and is responsible for recruiting into our wonderful team of CareGivers. Ruth is passionate about bringing on board more excellent Care Assistants to make sure we can keep on providing our client base with the first-class service we are known for.
