Mum has had care for several years. All of the carers are the kindest, most supportive and thoughtful people you could wish for. The support we receive as a family from the whole company is absolutely fantastic. There is always someone ready to discuss any issues and find a solution which is right for Mum and we thank everyone for their constant support. Thank you all.
Hi Diana, thanks so much for such a lovely review about the support we've been providing for your mum and your family over the years and for your kind comments about the team that look after her. She is a very special lady and we consider ourselves really fortunate to be the team that you chose to...
The Right at Home carers are diamonds. They supported mum for just over a year after she broke her wrist, but sadly since then she has succumbed to dementia and now resides in a care home. Over the time that Right at Home supported mum, they were nothing but kind, considerate, friendly and respectful to both mum, my sister and I.
We couldn't have managed without them and the fantastic support and advice we received from the management team. They kept in regular contact with us and nothing was too much trouble to ensure that mum received the best care possible.
I would not hesitate in recommending Right at Home to you if you are looking for support of a loved one.
Hello. Thanks so much for giving your feedback about the team and the help we were privileged to provide for your mum. She was an absolute pleasure to support and as you know, all her ladies are very fond of her. They will all be very proud to read your kind comments.
Right at Home looked after Mum for year. The care started when she broke her wrist and needed assistance. During the year her cognition and general mobility declined, which meant more visits. Right at Home were able to accommodate the changes and the communication was always friendly, timely and professional. My sister and I were very happy with the care Mum received and felt confident that the carers would be friendly and reassuring to her. We would definitely recommend their services.
Thanks so much for your kind words and feedback about the team - all of whom very much enjoyed supporting your lovely mum.
My experience of Right at Home has been excellent. I live alone, am 80 and a Type 1 Diabetic and was in hospital following a fall which meant I needed assistance in the morning and evening in order to return home. How much more I was given. Friendship, not only to myself but my elderly dog. Also encouragement not to mention liaison with medical staff and ensuring I had everything I needed to promote a speedy recovery.
Many thanks for spending the time to write such a lovely review about the times we've been able to support you when you've needed a bit of extra help. It's always a pleasure to chat with you, and of course to say hi to your four-legged companion! So glad you saw the value in the work we...
The management team assisted us (the family) through all the steps of getting Mum out of hospital and back home. The managers assessed Mum's needs, advised on the equipment and care support required, and then made it happen. This was invaluable. The care/support team were brilliant. So kind, considerate and respectful to Mum and that made a great difference to her, as she was feeling very nervous about having to be cared for. The care/support staff were always cheerful and it was like nothing was too much for them. As Mum's needs changed, the team adjusted which meant Mum could stay at home longer.
All the staff went above and beyond what we had expected. I cannot recommend them more highly.
We are all really touched to hear such lovely feedback. The team felt very privileged that you chose us to look after your mum, enjoying her stories and sharing laughs with her, especially about her time working as a home caregiver herself. I know that the ladies who cared for your mum will be very proud to read this feedback. Thank you so much for taking the time to post it here.
So following an operation this September, I used their services for 2 months to help whilst I was recovering, I am pleased to report that the standard services provided had not changed and I would highly recommend them and use them again, without hesitation.
Whatever capacity they are utilised, the standard of care is always 100% and carried out with a smile with no job too much trouble. Was glad to see that some of the original team that I knew back in 2018 and prior to are still with the company.
We are very proud that it was us that you called when you needed some help, and...
The managing director and the team of carers have been looking after my mum, who has dementia, for the past four years, and without their care and support would have had to move into a home. I could not wish to have found a better team. Why would I stay with a team of carers for over four years if they were not absolutely dedicated, professional, sympathetic and caring. I get daily updates of all visits via an app and regularly read “I was greeted with a big smile and hug from” “whilst preparing lunch we had a bit of a singsong”, “ on the walk she enjoyed seeing” the carers really do seem to have a gift for getting my mum to enjoy the moment. During a recent heatwave, they even popped round after the normal caring hours just to check Mum was ok, totally unprompted; I guess that’s carers caring. I would not hesitate to recommend them, always contactable, easy to talk to, very experienced and totally professional. 10/10.
Hi Keith, thank you for such lovely feedback about the team that supports your mum in remaining safe and independent at home and continuing with her hobbies and interests. The ladies that visit have all got to know your mum well, and the continuity and consistency of care that we work hard to...
Right at Home (Reading & Wokingham District) have been supporting my mother-in-law for the past four years and have been doing a fantastic job. As her condition has progressed they have responded through regular reviews so that they could better support her as her needs changed. The carers and management work as one unit, feeding back information that we can read after every visit and celebrating the good days and keeping us informed whenever there are difficulties so that we feel we are part of the team. They are very proactive in making recommendations that will support her daily living and are always empathetic and caring. During Covid, we relied on them totally to support her needs and put in extra support when she contracted the illness and nursed her through that difficult time. We applaud the dedication and hard work of all the carers and we could not maintain her independence without them. Thank you Right at Home!
Hi David, thank you for taking some time out of your day to post your review of our team here, and of course for the positive and supportive comments. It will be tremendously motivating for the team who support your mum-in-law to see this feedback and all will be very proud to read it. To do our...
I can not recommend Right at Home (Reading & Wokingham District) highly enough. The Team at Right at home provided palliative care for my dad for four months at the end of 2021. The standard of care was absolutely excellent. The team were professional, kind, caring, empathetic and extremely supportive, not only of my dad but also for us as a family. Nothing was too much bother - even to the point that they would call the doctors surgery on our behalf if they felt it necessary. My dad was always introduced to any carers before they started care, which was very important for him. Dad had the same small team of carers, which allowed lovely relationships to be built between them and my Dad. The Management Team and carers genuinely care about their clients and the care is totally focused on the client (not the task as with other care agencies). Thank you so much to the Managing Director and his team for all the support, care, kindness and help you gave to my dad and our family.
Thank you so much for those lovely comments and feedback about our team, and the care and support we felt privileged to provide. Your dad was a truly lovely man who showed amazing spirit and determination despite his illness, and left a wonderful impression on each of the members of our team that...
My Dad has had the benefits of Right at Home care for a while now and I (and the family) are extremely happy with the level of care and service provided. No request is too much for them and the Managing Director and Care Manager(and the other carers that look after Dad) feel like an extension to the family.
Unfortunately my dad's health has deteriorated in the last few months and therefore the team have been asked to move schedules around and offer advice on the next best steps. As such, my Dad is comfortable (as much as he can be) with the new schedules and the family have every confidence in the care my Dad is receiving.
I (and the family and friends close to my Dad) would have no hesitation to recommend Right at Home (Reading and Wokingham District) and sincerely appreciate their service
Thanks so much for your generous feedback about our team and the quality of care & support we've been honoured to provide for your dad (and for extra peace of mind for the rest of the family too of course). He's a super chap and really popular with all the team - with a great twinkle in his eye...
The daily caregivers are so competent at dealing with my dad's confusion and anxieties and always know how to calm him with patience and compassion by getting him to talk about his interesting past life which he loves to do and which really lifts his mood. Their reports available on an app immediately after visits are always very informative.
The management team are extremely professional, attentive and helpful and go above and beyond to ensure all of my dad's needs are met.
My brothers and I are very grateful that my dad is so well cared for and is able to remain contented and comfortable in his own home.
Thanks so much for taking the time to post your feedback here, and of course for your lovely comments about our team. I'll be sure to let your dad's CareGivers know that their efforts have been so appreciated by you and your brothers - I am sure they will be very touched. Your dad has had such an...
efficient and I shall miss them greatly when they no longer visit. They have helped me through a difficult time and helped me gain back confidence.
Hi Elizabeth, thanks so much for taking the time to send a review in, and a lovely one it is too! We have loved helping you get back to full strength and your amazing spirit and sense of humour has greatly impressed each of the ladies that have been visiting you, especially during these strange...
Thanks to my carer, I have been able to go shopping. She also does housework and any job required. She is always happy and like a breath of fresh air.
Thank you so much for sending in a card with your feedback on our service and the help we’ve been able to provide so far. Really pleased to hear it is going so well and you have such a lovely relationship with your CareGivers.
After months of trying to cope on his own after being in the hospital, we decided to a trial with home carers, and I have to say, it is the best decision we could have made.
The carers are genuine, caring, compassionate and friendly people, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them whether it’s cooking, cleaning or even shopping.
They have provided a lifeline to my uncle, and he has thrived under their care, and he classes every one as a friend and not his carers.
I am so grateful to every member of the team both office staff and carers for making it so much easier for my uncle to continue living at home with such brilliant support.
Hi Jacqueline, thanks so much for those lovely comments, which I know the caregivers who visit your uncle will find very touching and motivating. He is a wonderful chap and it really is a pleasure for all of us to spend time with him, and do our little bit to help him out. A perfect gent.
The carers are a cut above the rest and combined with meticulous management and efficient organisation, it makes a very successful company. I have every confidence that people turn up when they should. Over time, our needs have changed, and Right at Home has been there to give advice and offer support.
I can access care notes and visit reports via a very easy to use app on my phone. It’s a great way to keep up to date with daily events when you can’t physically be there.
The whole team are caring and genuine. They are well informed and go above and beyond to offer support. Their expertise is invaluable, and I trust them to notice if things aren’t quite right. In my book, communication is key, and this is constantly forthcoming. At this challenging phase, I simply couldn’t function without them!
Sarah - thanks so much for your lovely feedback. We are all tremendously proud to be able to support you, your dad and your uncle, and I know the team members involved will be touched when they see your generous comments. Our aim as a team is to support our clients and their families just as we...
My friend's caregivers are very kind and patient they are also very competent people who really care for there clients. Right at Home has been looking after my friend for the last eighteen months, keeping his home clean and cooking for him they will always go the extra mile. I would recommend this company because they are a great team of people who look after my friend very well and I send my thanks and appreciation you all.
Hi Marion, thanks for taking the time to write your feedback here, and your generous comments. It's always great to hear from friends of our clients to get a different perspective on how well our team is supporting them. I am pleased that you are pleased that we are doing a good job too!
I absolutely love my carers coming; we dance, and we have a great time. I really enjoy the time we spend together and look forward to their visits. I wouldn't be without them.
Thanks so much for your lovely feedback about your caregivers. I will be sure to let them all know that you have taken the time to send in a review - I know they will all be very proud that their dancing skills have also been reviewed positively!
My father has used Right at Home for his care needs for a year and a half now and I cannot recommend Right at Home highly enough. The staff are very dedicated and my father feels entirely comfortable with his care. The manager is always on hand to help with any queries or concerns and goes over and above to help out. Right at Home has adapted well to Covid-19, using PPE on visits, washing hands etc, and I feel confident in my father's safety. I receive daily updates via a secure app so I know exactly how my father is getting on day by day, which is very comforting. Thank you to the manager and team for doing such a fantastic job!
Hi Alison. Thanks for your very kind comments about our team and their care for your dad. We are all very fond of him and enjoy our visits with him - a real gent, with a great sense of humour. Really pleased also that you and the family get comfort from being able to see all the notes via the secure phone app, wherever you are.
The alternatives of putting a 93-year-old lady into a care home were there - but to consign a stubborn lady to a place outside her own comfort zone was not an attractive option and still wouldn’t be today.
Given the choice of home care, this has worked incredibly well - all the staff are excellent carers, and they visit on a well-structured programme. This is even reported back with an APP, so communication and feedback around her care is top-notch.
The carers have a lot of patience and compassion dealing with our mother and is typical of the strong-willed older ladies in their 80's and 90's. Although she is demanding and doesn't take instructions easily or hear well “ I’m not wearing that hearing aid it makes me look old”, they deal with her brilliantly. Making her adapt to her health and educating her on using walking aids as well as making her eat more healthily, getting her shopping and medicines when needed - much appreciated.
Thanks so much for your review and kind comments - your feedback is great to hear, and the caregivers on our team who support your mum will love reading it too, as they all really enjoy their visits with her. Just this morning one of the team helped your mum do a video call with us in...
My uncle looks forward to the carers visits and chats.
Thank you so much for writing in with your feedback. It's our pleasure to look after your uncle, and the members of our team that visit him often tell me about the fun and laughter in your home. He also impresses them with his encyclopedic knowledge of the local area!
I'll be...
