The care that my mum received was first class, in particular, we were struck by the genuine warmth and kindness that your support team showed. Nothing was too much trouble, they were always on time and always arrived with a super positive attitude and a smile on their faces.
It was also very easy to make the initial arrangements with you, listening carefully to what support was required and matching this with the appropriate support package couldn't have been easier or quicker, everything was explained clearly and there was complete transparency.

Now in my 90th year, I have not had to use the services of a care company until about 6 months ago, but find that now I couldn't function without the daily use (daily exercise) of one. The staff, hand picked, arrive on time each day (weekends included) and form now a very pleasant start to each day. Their quiet confident matter of expertise is impressive and they exude a professionalism with what they do and say. As I enter a new decade I look forward to needing more of their skills.

Obviously when care begins you are always worried that the care doesn't match the advertising/hearsay. But within the first 24 hours, this was an agency that not only matched the advertising but goes over and above the call of duty. You can set your clock by the arrival of the carer. Each carer brings their own brand of thoughfulness, care and love. To us they have now become part of our family. Without any hesitation I would recommend this company to anyone who has the need of a steadfast and reliable care worker. I interviewed several care providers before choosing Right at Home and I would highly recommend their service.
The staff are very knowledgeable and have implemented several specific tools to help manage my mum's care, they have also proved to be flexible, considerate and very thorough in their approach. The Registered Manager is very experienced and took great care to select the right carers and introduced them gently to my mother. I am very happy with the women deployed, the level of care and understanding they offer my Mum. They have quickly understood the complex drugs and challenges my mum faces and now help her 12 hours per week. The Managing Director has also been interested and attentive, proving they are not just a faceless organisation focused solely on profit, it offers me great peace of mind knowing Right at Home are there for support.

With 6 hours notice, they sent out their MD to carry out the assessment and complete the paperwork.
The carer arrived at the hotel 1 hour before the Christmas party started and assisted getting my wife ready.
Care was excellent, and the carer was superb - a wonderful person.
Other agencies said, “we can’t because you need an assessment” where Right at Home just did it.
A fantastic response, and cooperation between the Reading office and the Maidenhead office which provided the staff.

From our office in the lovely Berkshire village of Twyford, Right at Home Reading & Wokingham District has a simple objective: to deliver the best possible, high-quality care & support for our clients, in order to make a real difference every day to their lives.
We have a fabulous team of professional Carers who are dedicated to ensuring that our clients can live safely and happily in their own homes, with the dignity and respect that they deserve. We offer a premium service through a combination of recruiting, rewarding and retaining great staff, providing comprehensive training, and being sure to match our Carers to client interests and personalities.
Your local Carers will be personally introduced to you and given plenty of time to travel to your home. We carefully schedule to ensure that every care call is a minimum of one hour, so that we can maximise the value of the visit with the aim of improving, not just maintaining, your quality of life. You, your family and your friends can relax knowing that you are in safe hands.
From our base in Twyford, we provide support across our region, including Wokingham, Finchampstead, Aborfield, Shinfield, Woodley, Earley, Sonning, Charvil, Twyford, Ruscombe, Hurst, Shurlock Row and Waltham St Lawrence.

Leisa has been working in care for more than 30 years and joined Right at Home soon after we opened our Twyford office, in early 2018, first as an outstanding Caregiver, then as our Quality Manager, and now as our highly respected Registered Care Manager.
Leisa has a level 5 QCF in Health and Social Care and is a specialist in working with clients living with Dementia. As a Dementia Champion, Leisa is also able to deliver Dementia Friends training on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society, helping people in our community better understand how to support those living with dementia. Leisa is a member of the Right at Home UK Registered Managers Advisory Council, a small group of experienced RMs from across the country who work closely with the National Office Quality and Compliance experts to help develop best practices across the Right at Home network of offices. She is also a member of the RaH UK Training Advisory Group, helping to shape the award-winning training delivered across the Right at Home network.
In addition, Leisa leads the training for our local Carers, including being a qualified trainer for Medication Administration, Moving & Handling and Basic Life Support Level 2 certification.
Leisa provides support and mentorship to our lovely professional Carers, helping us maintain the highest standards of care for all our clients, and that best practice is shared across the entire team.
As Registered Care Manager, Leisa has overall responsibility for our Care Team and ensuring that we meet and exceed the standards & regulations that the CQC mandate, and encourages our team of Carers to go the extra mile in support of our clients.
Like everyone at Right at Home Reading & Wokingham District, Leisa shares a passion for delivering the highest quality home care in the area and works tirelessly to do her bit in making sure we achieve that goal.
Ruth joined the team in 2022 and is responsible for recruiting into our wonderful team of Carers. Ruth is passionate about bringing on board more excellent Care Assistants to make sure we can keep on providing our client base with the first-class service we are known for.
