I appreciate the help given, the most important part is that I have a
balance problem and it is good for me to have a person there just in
case l should fall. Since the engagement of the two members of the
company we have found that we have a very good relationship, and when I
related this to my daughter, she said "I didn't know showering
could be so much fun". I know that I am an early riser and wondered
at the onset whether an 8:00 am start was going to be difficult, this
has proved to be not the case and l am very pleased with the
arrangement. I look forward to a long and enjoyable partnership and
close with my grateful thanks.

Having had carers in the past and not happy with the way I was treated,
I decided to go to the direct payment scheme. After my wife's
advertisement, I found my current carers, who I have found exemplary.
They have been with me for five weeks, and in that time, they have
treated me with utmost respect and dignity. I have to have bed washes
and showers, and to do this, I have to be placed in a sling and hoisted
from my bed to the shower and/or toilet. They also fit in with the time
that I like to get up and go to bed and are always prompt. They have a
genuine caring and compassionate nature, and always treat me as they
find me; sometimes happy and sometimes not so.
