View Full Details of Royal Care CanterburyIf you are looking to retain your independence as you get older and require some form of support or care in order to remain in your own home then I cannot recommend Royal Care more highly. They are an exceptional staff who are highly dependable yet friendly and reliable in all that they do. They nursed my mother with the utmost kindness and respect as she battled cancer whilst remaining in her beloved home. Now they offer excellent home help so that my Dad can retain independence but have help with daily chores such as ironing and food preparation! I am also highly impressed with one of the Managers called Alina who knows my Dad very well and offers me extra support and peace of mind if I need to go away. We are incredibly lucky to have found Royal Care to help support us. Thank you everyone!!
The actual carers are very good. Very professional friendly and cheerful. If I have a fault it would be with the management who don't seem to care about the pressure they are putting there staff through. The distance and routes between clients isn't taken into consideration and it will only be worse when the dark and wet weather comes upon us and the carers have to drive down winding dark country roads and have limited time in between calls
Find the staff very friendly, polite and treat the client with dignity and respect throughout the process. Was very simple and straightforward to organise and are always keeping me informed of any changes.
Overall very happy with care. Please may I ask that when shoe laces are tied up they do a double knot. Also please when washing up don't run hot water away and use bowl. Also would it be possible to help with any cleaning and changing bed only if possible. Thank you.
I have had a positive experience with the team at Royal Care. The care manager I found was very proactive, communicative and easy to reach. She also had genuine care for her clients. Her staff were also caring and always smiled when in my Nan's home. Overall I can recommend them and thank them all for the care they gave my Nan.
Every one of the staff are excellent.
Very happy with way carers interact with my mother. Less happy that visit times are altered without notice. Previous supplier used to email rosters in advance so we knew who and when attending.
I have had my carers for 16 months now that are fantastic, no problems what so ever.
The carers are all understanding, they are polite, caring & very helpful. They make me feel very comfortable and safe, They always ask if anything else is needed after they have done the main things for me, they treat me and my home with respect, they take time to chat,
All the staff polite, friendly and proffessional, always smiling and willing to help.
Service is very good, caring team very thorough. Respectful of dignity and my husband is very polite and my husband is very private man so they do well with him; he has fully accepted the help.
The Royal Care team attend to my father three times a day. He was very anxious having people come into his home but the kind and caring approach of the carers attending has quickly put him at ease. They balance the hygiene, medical needs of my father perfectly with the emotional needs, engaging in conversation and sharing a joke now and again which brings some joy to his difficult situation. I am grateful to their manager also who has communicated well with myself helping to tweak small issues to help make my father more comfortable and liaising with other professionals on my behalf when I am busy. I am very grateful to everyone at Royal Care for their attentive service and kind and caring manner.
We only used Royal Care for a short time but they were immediately impactful and supported our father at a desperate time in his cancer journey. I would recommend their services and know other people that are happy with the service they provide. Thanks to the manager and her team.
Mum enjoys the carers coming in. She listens to them and they encourage her with taking medication and washing and dressing The team make contact and I can access the notes they make. Mum is very happy with the staff and the management liaise well with me
Great service carers are lovely and support client with all his needs he is my dad and it is Important that he is looked after. This company really cares and makes sure they have the best carers for the job.
A professional and well run service. Can't praise the staff highly enough from the carers to the admin team. Always ready to listen with a sympathetic ear and adapt accordingly. A pleasue dealing with them and would recommend their organisation.
My father was placed on end of life home care after a 10 week stay in hospital relating to a heart attack. His wishes was to spend his last days at home on the farm surrounded by family. He was very weak and bed bound for the time he was at home(6 days) and Royal care were attending 3 times a day, sometimes 4 when requested. The teams that arrived and the care provided was absolutely fantastic. The teams would carry out tasks in a dignified and gentle manner, putting my father's comfort at their priority. They would talk to him and ask plenty how he feels and that is he comfortable. No corners were cut in regards to care and as a family we couldn't ask for anything more. They were always easy to talk to over the phone too through all hours as I was always able to get hold of someone quickly. I would recommend Royal care to anyone who finds themselves in a situation where extensive care is needed. Amazing people and care. From my Father and family, thank you Royal care.
