My daughter is happy and feels safe in her supported living placement. All the staff are empathetic, kind and caring and are very supportive to both her and myself. They work hard to enable her to have a full and busy life and Symbol provide an amazing range of activities through the day services.
My daughter has recently had her bedroom redecorated, carpeted and refurnished which was incredibly disruptive to both her and all the other clients at the house however the house managerial team and all the staff bent over backwards to help make that happen for her, I can't thank them enough.

My son has been a client of Symbol Family Support Services for 5 years. He has been provided with excellent care and support.
He has continued to make really good progress in all areas, and is extremely happy.

My daughter has been supported to live by Symbol for 10 years now and what I find so reassuring is their compassion and willingness to work with the whole family to make the clients life as fulfilling and stress free as possible. Yes, there have been difficult times - take Covid - but the
communication is always there and my daughter has grown with them to have a solid grounding and to feel safe and secure, through staffing changes at all levels...
The current management structure seems to be very settled and has been in place about 3 years now and I am very happy.

My son moved into symbols supported living roughly 6 years ago.We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful caring team under Sarah the house manager. We feel that they go the extra mile to meet my sons needs.Added to this they always take on board and quickly resolve any concerns we might have.Nothing
is too much trouble. Its so reassuring to know as parents that all his needs are being met as well as any health issues are closely monitered. We are very grateful to all the staff

My experience with symbol has been very positive from caring and helpful staff to appropriate accommodation and medical care.
Service users are encouraged to lead active and individual lives and are supported well whilst doing this.
Where they live feels like a proper home not somewhere where
people are just looked after and we are always made to feel welcome.
I am always kept up to date with necessary information and am always contacted back straight away with any questions I have.

My daughter has moved into supported living which has been extremely emotional! She settled in from day one!! The whole process was wonderful with Janice guiding and supporting us both. The house manager, Sarah, arranged a couple of meet ups with the other clients which were brilliant. All the staff
and carers couldn't have been more caring if they tried! A wonderful organisation who care so much for the clients and has a wonderful family atmosphere. I would strongly recommend Symbol to any other families or professionals. Thank you

My cousin moved into supported living with Symbol, under the care of Janice and her fantastic team.. the change in him is just amazing, he settled in so well with their support and kindness..

Our son has just moved into supported living with Symbol in Kent after having a poor experience with another provider. Janice and her team are exceptional providing supported living how it should be done. Our son has gone from being depressed and unmotivated to smiling once again and eager to try
new things. His self esteem has improved and the team have been 110% dedicated. Janice and her team are worth their weight in gold and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services. We thank you all so much.

They offer fantastic quality of care and are so reliable. It is hard living so far away from mum but they look after her every need and I cannot speak more highly of them and would recommend straight away.

Symbol looked after my partner with compassion, professionalism and endless patience. Their carers are second to none. I was close to breaking point with my partner with dementia, they supplied the support I needed very quickly. Their carers not only took care of her they also listened to me and
supported me emotionally. I am eternally grateful for their help. The company is run efficiently by lovely ladies who understand the meaning of care. I would recommend them with no hesitation.

I started using Symbol family support services for my elderly mother who has Alzheimer's vascular dementia in January 2025. There services have enabled my mother to continue to live in her own home and it really has become life changing for her and my family. They have been professional and really
educated / advised me on care in home and having tried other care suppliers, Symbol are a cut above the rest. They are always on time, flexible and work with mum in many ways to assist her. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering using home care for a family member.

I highly recommend using Symbol Care for anyone who needs extra support at home. My father developed dementia 4 years ago and his care needs progressed over that time that I could not meet them on my own, so I engaged Symbol's help and they talked me through every step of the way and at each review
we discussed his increasing care needs. Even when short staffed, they never left dad without care. Their consistency with staff is good and with dad's dementia that was a bonus because he wasn't scared of strange people coming into the house each day. He built up a great rapport with his carers and they would often share a joke and giggle.
Unfortunately dad has now passed and we no longer need the services of Symbol Care, but whomever has their time and attention now are the lucky ones. Thank you, I couldn't have looked after him without you. x
