Plaxedes and Erica and Mercy all provide personal care needs for my mum. They provide a great service and always attend to my mums personal care needs, and preparing her breakfast and lunch and making her feel special. My mum adores Erica and Mercy as they are both so kind and friendly and
just so caring.

One of the challenges for my wife and I is the fact that we live in the UK, whilst our son Freeman is being cared for in Jersey. This means that most communication is done by phone or occasionally email. It does prove difficult to judge/assess what Freeman's physical state is and although we attempt
to speak via phone each day it still presents a level of uncertainty. This is further compounded by Freeman's condition, his short term memory is very poor, so asking him how his care is going does not give us much detail. I think some sort of electronic system that we could log onto to see both the carers remarks and view a medical/food log would be beneficial.
