Our family were put into a very nerve-racking situation when my father's daily carers said they would have to pull out of his care unless we could keep him in bed. Dad at the time, still had some mobility, so we were quite against it. One Saturday afternoon, when we were under immense stress, we found
a wonderful night carer. He was happy to travel from Haywards Heath to Seaford to look after Dad overnight. This carer showed us his kindness, compassion and understanding of my dad's condition. He was professional on every level bringing us relief and support. Although the carer was only with us for a few nights before Dad went into hospice, he gave Dad companionship, security and treated him with dignity and kindness. The carer also gave some of his time to ask how family members were, answered questions and shared his knowledge. Following the death of my Dad a few weeks later he called to send his condolences. We would have been lost without his support- Thank you.
