Percurra have been excellent during the time they provided care for my severely disabled mum. Management and care staff have always been extremely supportive and accommodating and always happy to help.

We would recommend Percurra to anyone needing care services in their home.

We have seriously tested our care Provider's ability to respond to a major downturn in my husband's health. Over the past 4 months he has become bed bound and totally dependent upon me and our carers for all of his needs: personal care and hygiene, feeding, hoisting for transfers on and off the bed, bed baths and showering and positioning on the bed. The agency has worked with us to create a well trained team who provide continuity of care .They are alert to changes in my husband's condition and work with me to meet our main goal: to care for him at home. The carers are confident, capable and very kind.
The agency has addressed our concerns regarding changes to rotas/ personnel and communication with the office has improved significantly.

The agency has also supported me in retaining some elements of my former life through their willingness to be flexible in providing extra care when needed.

Overall Experience

When my dad had a fall and lost his mobility 18 months ago we contacted PerCurra for support. Within hours they had met us and offered a care package that suited our needs and from then on everything went like clockwork. The carers are punctual, friendly and respectful and make my dad laugh when he is feeling down. He says they are his friends rather than carers. In addition, PerCurra have been very responsive and helpful on occasions when we have had a crisis. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The care facility provided to my God Mother was first class. A kind, patient and sensitive carer when my Godmother was at her most vulnerable and whom my Godmother was very fond of. Thank you for everything you've done for her and allowing her to stay living in her own home.

Dad has had support for just over a year now. He accepted the visitors, as he calls them, readily as they were /are so professional and interested in him. I live away from Leeds but phone regularly so I noticed how much brighter he seems from having daily conversations. I believe it is because of the chats he now gets which give him valuable interaction. Thank you.
The feedback to each visit is helpful too.
Percurra are available to ensure any concerns are addressed promptly and sensitively. Equally, if they have concerns they immediately make contact.

I got in touch with Percurra earlier this year when it was getting more difficult for my mum to take personal care of herself at home. Right from the start the staff were very attentive and caring. They came in twice a week.,

Mum took to them immediately, which surprised me as she is a very private person.

When mum unfortunately had a fall and ended up in hospital, I received regular phone calls from the company asking about her welfare.
Unfortunately she now needs 24hr nursing care and has to go into a care home.

I can certainly recommend Percurra to look after and treat family with dignity.

My dear mum was in her 90s and very vulnerable. The care she received at her most vulnerable was outstanding! Her carers while remaining professional at all times, became trusted confidantes and friends. No matter how busy they were they always gave my mum their undivided attention and care. Because of them and her family my mum's end of life was filled with love and caring. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for our mum.

We have been using Percurra care 4 times a day since April 2025.

Andrew and Michelle are amazing helping me get M home after a long stay in hospital and a short stay in a care home. They help me with additional visits when M is not well. They work with me and keep me updated.

The ladies that care for M are also amazing, they care about M and listen to her requests respecting her at all times.

Very positive experience from initial phone call through to assessment of needs and the 2 hourly visits every week while my mum recovered from knee replacement surgery. Siriya was friendly, helpful, respectful and never forced us into accepting more hours than my mum needed. Siriya was happy to do whatever we needed, which was greatly appreciated, as another company I contacted had a minimum number of hours per week and those had to fit into their timetable. Siriya helped my mum with her shopping and took her to an exhibition in Glasgow one week, all of which was much appreciated and carried out with care and attention. Thank you so much. We would use the service again in the future, should my parents need further assistance. We would also recommend Percurra East Dunbartonshire to others considering this type of care, allowing parents to stay in their own home for longer.

Per curra cared for my mum for 5 years. She had alzheimer's and mobility issues. The carers were absolutely lovely. Always courteous, considerate, compassionate and kind. Treated mum with dignity and respect and always ready for a laugh. Her alzheimer's could result in challenging behaviour, which they always handled exceptionally well. She passed away Dec '24, and they now continue with companionship care calls for dad who is 92. The staff are brilliant and the company are helpful and flexible as and when needed. Thoroughly recommend Per Curra home care.

We have used this company for my Mum, since April 23, until the present time. I would highly recommend this particular branch of Percurra, as the carers have been absolutely wonderful to her. They have become like friends to Mum, whilst maintaining a professional and very caring attitude. They have also been very flexible when we have needed to change the rota for whatever reason. They have provided excellent care for Mum and have gone above and beyond when the occasion has arisen. Having these ladies visit Mum is the best decision we have made on her behalf. Mum enjoys having them come to visit and always looks forward to seeing them. For the most part, there has been continuity of care which means that Mum has built a good rapport with her regular carer. If there needs to be a change, for example the main carer is on holiday, Mum always receives a good replacement. Mum is happy and that makes me happy!

We needed an evening carer to provide an evening meal for Joe our 93 year old family member. We had not had a very good experience from the last two companies that we used. However PurCurra stepped in and provided exactly what we needed. The team are kind and professional with excellent communication with us and with Joe. As Joe's circumstances are changing, PerCurra has been very supportive and helpful and willing to be flexible as much as they can to help us and Joe. We are very grateful.
