Despite several telephone calls to the office to complain nothing gets resolved. Carers turn up late. On several occasions, medication was not administered despite the medication being in blister packs. Basic care - Commodes not being emptied, leaving her bedroom smelling of urine. Food waste bins are
left full and smelling in the kitchen. Carers not signing in and out (I'm constantly telephoning the office to complain about this). Carers do not always stay for the allotted time. Last week, a carer arrived at 11:45 am this was meant to be the morning call. This meant my mum was left all morning without her medication (as they have to administer this), and left without food or drink. The lunchtime carer then turned up at 12:30 pm. Lots of agency staff are being used and they will not sign in or out or add any comments in the book, therefore as next of kin you have no idea whether anyone's actually been or not. Meals are also hit and miss, sometimes she gets something sometimes she doesn't.

I am really impressed with all the carers who have attended to my Mum over the last 12-months. The staff are friendly and kind, they keep me in the loop and the office staff are really helpful.
