Overall Experience

Again it's coordinators who do not know how to coordinate the jobs.
After 6 weeks in hospital, we were told my husband could not have his original time slot of 9am, which was better with a certain carer who was punctual.
We agreed to 10am however new carers not punctual, times slots changing everyday to the point I have to give my husband breakfast after 11.15am when it is time critical with the meds he takes.
Coordinators don't bother ringing clients if there is a change or delay which messes up our morning routine daily as I also work.
We are flexible by 15 mins but to wait over 30 mins to over an hour is ridiculous.
There is no need to change clients times on a daily basis, it's up to the corordinator or carer to inform the client if they are going to be late straight away!!

We've had problems with the timings for nearly 3 years now!!

Overall Experience

Carer through my tablets in the bin and the care company wouldn't refund me the tablets cost and then the manager had an attitude problem on the phone. Some of the carers were ok but overall not a good experience from the care company.

Overall Experience

I would just like to say a huge thank you to the carer who looks after my dad in Castleford. She has been one of my dad’s carers for a while now but he has come out of hospital needing much more care. The carer treats my dad with kindness and respect, all whilst meeting all of his needs. She is professional, compassionate and warm. The other carer is also very professional and understands everyone’s needs as in individual. Thank you also to two other carers for their support, care and kindness to my dad.

Overall Experience

My mother is 96 years old and needs a lot of care in her home. She was admitted to hospital in September for 4 weeks. On her discharge, she was not that good but the carers from AS Care are really understanding with her as needs a lot of attention mainly because she is partially sighted and has very poor mobility. The carers are very thoughtful with her and inform me straight away if they have any concerns. They also advise me if things that can help are required. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Overall Experience

AS Care have been absolutely fantastic with the care they have given to my mother-in-law. I cannot fault any of their carers, they all communicate with my mother-in-law and myself keeping us all well informed and very happy. In my eyes, they are angels. All my family can't thank AS Care enough.

I and my family found that all who cared for my husband did an excellent job and they treated him with dignity which helped me come to terms that I could no longer take care of him, they treated me with care and understanding. From myself and my family heartfelt thanks to all.

Overall Experience

Times or carer changed without being informed. They do not review care for any changes and never collect log sheets for auditing. Carer staying shorter length of time and not washing or changing pads or night wear. They keep the same gloves on for washing commode and dealing with drinks and do not ask if need the client needs anything to eat. Administration in office very poor.
