Generally we have the same support staff, which is extremely important for continuity. They are always kind and courteous. They all know what they should be doing, but there are one or two who, occasionally, I have to remind about certain important things.
Generally they are prompt.

When dealing

with office staff, whether it be relating to rotas or management issues, the staff are always polite and helpful.

My family and I have no complaints and would recommend ENS.

Reply from Raj Chahal, Managing Director at ENS Care & SupportThank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely feedback.

ENS Care & Support are a very caring company and focuses on the individual people they support. They do the best they can to ensure compatibility and continuity with support workers to enable the service users to enjoy their lives. I see this not only with my own son but also with the other residents.
I know from bitter experience that not all care companies are like this.

I've been supported by ENS Care & Support in excess of 18-months, and the consistency of staff has allowed me to build a trusting relationship with them. The ladies are reliable and encouraging, patient, kind and funny. The office staff have really gone the extra mile to support me by telephone too
when things have been difficult, and they've been accommodating and flexible in supporting my changing circumstances. Thank you, ENS.

As a mother, I have found the carers who come every morning to shower and dress my son are very understanding as he is very dependant on them, making his smart to go to his day centre. As I am now 85-yeards-old, I find them very helpful in every way and would not be able to manage without them.

I used ENS recently for some short term care for my Aunt. From the initial phone call, everything was handled extremely efficiently and in a very friendly manner. I was pleased with the care given and have been left with the feeling that both the office staff and carers had a genuine interest in doing
the best for my Aunt.

I have used ENS to support my severely disabled daughter for many years. They have always provided excellent Carers/nurses who are very professional, friendly and without exception compassionate and caring. I am happy to leave my precious daughter in their care knowing she will be supported in whatever
activity she is doing that day. Any calls or emails to the office are responded to swiftly by friendly and professional staff.

The regular carer is excellent. She understands my Daughter's needs and is proactive in suggesting activities to help my Daughter progress. The agency has let us down at short notice when our regular carer is not available.
Reply from Catherine Lawrence at ENS Care & SupportThank you for your review of the support we provide to your daughter. We are sorry that there have been short notice difficulties in replacing your regular care team, we work hard to try and ensure we can provide alternative support when staff are unwell or unable to work at the last minute, but this hasn't always been possible.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.0 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.563 for ENS Care & Support is calculated as follows: ( (9 Excellents x 5) + (7 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 16 Ratings = 4.563
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for ENS Care & Support is based on 3 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 4
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
