Abbey Care looked after our parents at their home for over a year. From the outset they were friendly, professional and keen that our parents should benefit from being at home for as long as possible. They were quick to point out any issues and were very accommodating in taking on additional care requirements. All the carers who cared for our parents were absolutely lovely and I know our parents enjoyed their company very much. The office was extremely good at passing on messages or information in a timely manner. After Mum went into hospital they asked after her regularly and expressed their kind condolences after she died, and also after Dad died, not long after Mum. I would not hesitate to recommend Abbey Care for the quality of their care, and the way they put the patient/client first at all times.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. It was truly a privilege for all of us at Abbey Care to support your parents and be a part of their lives. We're so pleased to hear that you found our team friendly, professional, and responsive throughout their care. Your words mean a great...
Abbey Care have been providing in-home caring support for my father for seven months or so. I've found them o be very organised & professional & every member of the office team I've spoken to has been really lovely & helpful. Dad found the support they've provided to be invaluable & it extended the time he was able to live at home independently that was really valuable to him.
Thank you so much for your kind words and we are so happy we were able to support Dad to live at home for as long as he could. He really was a pleasure to look after
We used Abbeycare to support us looking after my Father-in-law, who had Parkinson's, in his own home for 2 years. The care staff were all compassionate, kind, cheery and always treated him with dignity and respect and he looked forward to their visits. The office staff were helpful, responsive, and efficient. Communication was seamless and they were 100% reliable and flexible. With their care and support, my Father-in-law was able to stay in his own home for much longer, until we had to, unfortunately, make the decision to move him to full-time care. It gave him the comfort and familiarity he needed and for that, we will always be grateful to every one of the carers that looked after him. We would not hesitate to recommend Abbey Care to anyone looking for quality, dependable care. All the staff without exception made a real difference to my Father-in-law's life, giving him the independence he wanted and we are forever thankful for their support.
Thank you so much Sarah, for your kind words. It was an honour to support such a lovely gentleman and we are so pleased he got to stay at home for so long.
I would certainly recommend them.
Thank you for your kind words. We felt privileged to look after your parents and happy we were able to help to support them living in their own home for as long as possible.
I engaged Abbey Care originally to help my elderly mother (96) recover from a broken hip as she had been discharged from the hospital quite quickly with very little aftercare. As she was the main carer for my father (100) she was obviously going to struggle. The assessment team were very caring and very prompt with organising the help my mum required with personal needs and catering for both parents. All the staff were wonderful and kind and my parents soon got used to and enjoyed having the carers in to help them. Over a few months they did more and more to help them both until, unfortunately, we had to make the decision that full-time care was required. I cannot stress how relieved I was that reliable, professional and kind staff were there to assist Mum and Dad and in fact, it made their transition into permanent care much easier for them. I highly recommend Abbey Care, both the administration team and the individual carers who are obviously well trained and supported in their role.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure for us to provide support to your parents and we'll share your compliments with our carers, who we agree do an amazing job.
We've found very little problems with the service and are very happy. All of the carers are very nice. I always tell people they are the best.
Bath ladies, as I call them, are kind, efficient and gentle.
Since becoming a client of Abbey Care, I have been more than satisfied. Their staff have been very polite and extremely helpful. I consider myself very lucky and fortunate to have them as my carers.
We are very happy with the care provided, the carers are kind, helpful, patient, hardworking, cheerful and friendly. We appreciate them very much and are glad to have them. The agency is well run and very helpful too.
