My father has recently been changed by social services to Five Star Care after a short hospital stay. He was a little worried at first about having a different company but from the first day of meeting the care staff and manager he is happier and more confident with the support from the carers, as he
says they are more experienced, always a smile and chat with him. He is always phoned if they are going to be a little late so he knows they are coming so he's not worrying about being forgotten. The carers ask him if he needs anything picked up from the shops if they see he is running low on anything which saves me rushing from work. They have even texted me when dad felt under the weather. They have given him so much confidence by making him feel more independent and we really appreciate how they make him feel up lifted with a few staff even singing to him along with the radio. He actually greets us with a happy smile with lots of news on his day, which is so much nicer for us to see. Thank you so much.

I would like to state how pleased I am with the care and attention Five Star provides to my mother in her home. My mother is 96 years old and very lucid but needs physical help first thing in the mornings. The carers help her to wash and dress and always treat her with great dignity. Myself or one of
my brothers are with her by mid-morning and she is happy and relaxed because the start of her day has been made so easy. She is very fond of her carers and loves her early morning chats with them. If one of the carers notices any kind of problem with her well being or general health, they immediately bring it to their manager's attention and I am contacted.
I have peace of mind knowing that I can rely on the excellent service that Five Star provides.
Well done to both management and staff. You can be proud of the job you do.
