My wife has had Alzheimer's for many years and following a sudden, rapid and serious decline in her physical health, strength and mental capacity, HICA at Home (Hull) offered help and advice and provided care and support. Initially care was in place for 2 visits a week which due to her rapidly escalating needs soon became much more. They ensured we had the increasing care we needed, which became two daily visits and was going to escalate to 3 visits a day when we were allocated a much-needed permanent place in a HICA Care Home The carers who came to look after her were without exception caring, friendly and efficient and a pleasure to work with! They all built a lovely relationship with both of us and my wife always showed that she was pleased to see them. They are a credit to your organisation.

I would never recommend this company. I received verbal abuse from a carer and I was accused of threatening her. This was untrue. I have four witnesses and also I caught her on CCTV being verbally abusive towards me using profanity and words of insults. I deem this to be very unprofessional and is...
I would never recommend this company. I received verbal abuse from a carer and I was accused of threatening her. This was untrue. I have four witnesses and also I caught her on CCTV being verbally abusive towards me using profanity and words of insults. I deem this to be very unprofessional and is most definitely verbal abuse, also the care my grandmother received was unsatisfactory, never on time and never carried out the set tasks.
